The issue is people are dumb. No-one I know or ever seen has said they like loot boxes or ever come up with a succesful arguement for why they’re good. Every discussion is around this games loot boxes are terrible, this other game does it better for whatever reason. Like battlefront loot boxes were terrible and OW do them better. So what? that’s like saying crabs is better the chlamydia - you still want neither. It is simple marketing, if no-one bought them then they wouldn’t be in the game. So if no-one likes them why is anyone buying them!? The only reason I’ve come up with is people are dumb. The same applies to F2P games - look how much games like Candy Crush or Clash of Clans made/make by people playing a ‘free’ game.

Ohhhh that’s just my mine, I was just digging it out to gather resources I have no plans for the hole except for mining it some more. The bedrock the other end to the beacon is as far as the beacon reaches so no instant mining past that point. Though the effect goes that far in all directions so plenty of mining left before we need to move the beacon. The little walled off glass area was a test for a slime chunk but the farm’s been built at the hole you tp’ed to and helped dig (which reminds me, I need to hook up a nether portal to that still.) If you need any picks for mining, I repaired all the ones from the slime farm dig which your welcome to for your help with the dig. I think they’re in one of the single chests in my house, just have a look around and take what you want Same goes for anything else too, diamonds, quartz etc. that’s in my house

Whoops didn't see this, sorry Dave. You mean the enchanting table? I moved it upstairs above the villager trading hall. I thought I had posted it but I can't find it so maybe I didn't sorry. I thought we could use the old enchanting building location as a nether portal room (it should still link I hope) and include signs with all the important co-ordinates on as I'm already forgetting which portal is which haha. On an update side of things as I haven't updated in a while - I built an all mob mob farm, just a flushing platform one but it is good enough to get all the string I needed. I'm always halfway through building a creeper only farm though as I found it is built in a slime chunk so it's producing some slime too Once the creeper farm is done, I'm planning on building a big sugar cane farm around it. It should be a nice easy place then to make rockets ready for when we have elytra

Errrr I believe it’s called bonnet cam😛 Nice time though Phil, good to see you getting faster. I’m surprised even with BoP on how much faster some cars still are, I tried the Enzo again but couldn’t get in to the 16’s. I used to use that view and I prefer it but I like having a rear view mirror for the actual sport races so switched the bumper cam like the video.

Straight in with a 1:16.312 An oversteer moment, a couple wall taps and a few wide apex's so still some time on the table. It was fun having people online to time trial together, even if Lee did run the walls to get the fastest time It's been a while since I posted my lap, so here it is - learn from my lines and go set a faster time

Welcome Dan If it makes you feel any better, Diddums has touched us all too If you like your F1 on the PS4, do you by any chance have GT Sport? As we have a nice time trial competition going on that. Unfortunately it doesn't seem we overlap on PC though Mine tends to be used for survival or strategy games like Minecraft, 7 days to die, Stellaris, Civ 5 etc.

Not really no. You can certainly do it when creating an online lobby. You might be able to do it in single player too but that would still rely on each of is setting it up. I suppose it’s the same as setting BoP, just trust everyone does enable it as there’s no way to enforce it.

Well we have the event for gt tonight, no reason we couldn’t run some laps of this combo, share some tips and pointers to be faster

@phil bottle I could have sworn it has only been 1 week but you are correct, it is time for another combo. Next Combo Car: N700 Track: Tokyo Expressway - Central Outer Loop Back on the fast road cars again so this could be a challenge with a track with no room for erros.

A Ready Player One review depends on what you want from the film. The plot isn’t all that substantial with what plot there is being really predictable. However it is a really well made film, the CGI is amazing and there are so many pop culture references and characters to spot. It is a really enjoyable film to watch. Plus I get to watch it going I’ve been there, I know where that is etc. as some of it was filmed in Birmingham As for my last film- Into the spiderverse. A really good fun film, I’d even argue the best spiderman film we’ve had so far. I don’t remember any jokes that didn’t land and it’s funny to see it taking the piss out of the other spiderman films. Definitely worth a watch.

I don’t know if it is the track or car class being a leveller, either way I think both are best avoided in future rounds Nice Phil, sounds a good way to practice. The general online lobbies are good too as you can’t tank your driver rating and you can spectate other people to see where they shift.

Tried this again last night as there were no lobbies I fancied joining. The only car I can get sub 1 minute is the ktm but it is such a pig to drive. I managed to get down to a 59.3 something. I can’t see me beating that lap though so that’s where my time is staying.

I think the gears are easier in the racing cars than road cars. Though there’s something about this combo as I’m struggling with it too. I’ve got down to I think a 59.5 but I struggle to match that nevermind beat it.

So the slime farm is complete! I only meant to do a little work on today which turned in to about 5 hours - oopsie! I've realised I've built the farm slightly wrong so it isn't as effecient as it could be but timing the farm, it still produces about 64 slimes balls per minute so I think that is enough Just in digging the hole and building the farm we already have 3 double chests which is going to last our little server a looooong time. Though I wanted the slime so we can have a creeper farm but I forgot that takes a lot of string so I think an all purpose mob farm is next on the list to get enough string to then build a creeper only farm. However the all purpose mob farm can wait for another day but I'm back at work this week so I think progress may slow down a little

Not a bad idea to have this thread. I think for now, with so few of us playing MC, that the realm is the best thing to stick to. I think at the moment is mostly only me and plumber Dave who is on with any regularity. Though also remonds me about gmod! I don’t think we need a server for it as I assume one of us can host one our own pc but we should play it more. -
Nice going Phil, manual gears now next step turning off the traction control I got a 59 with the KTM but it is a pig to handle so going to try one of the other cars. Like you I have loads of cars in this class so a few to choose from.

I have only just started it so I’ve been TP’ing to it as I haven’t set up a nether portal and tunnel yet but if you TP [removed]. You should find yourself with a wall of chests, a bed and a ladder down. I’ve set up another haste 2 beacon so mining is quick and I think one of the bottom chests has some fish and a couple of my eff 5 picks in it too if you want to use them. They both have mending so wear them down and either repair them at the guardian farm or leave them in the chest and I’ll repair them when I’m next on.
