    A few of the classic dayz mod maps are finally making their way over to the standalone. First Namalsk and now Takistan, introducing the desert and sandstorms. My favourite map, another oh map, Taviana, is still in production but I'll be trying this out if I find its in a decent state as Takistan was always a nice change from the euro type of landscape.

    @Greboth @GazzaGarratt I try to keep one of the races straightforward and the other with something else to think about. I'd say in the Winter season I'll add an Endurance race into the mix too.

    Never managed to sit through a single Fast film. There's bits I like but I get bored quickly.

    Yep, I'm generally not a fan of 3rd person but if they get it right like, for example, the division games then it'll be ok for me.

    I decided against the other track after discussion last week as it will be hard to do qualifying on an 8 minute plus lap. We can always do it as the fun race if ppl fancy. Also, note the @Greboth rule has been set up for race one. Must do Hards for one lap at least but can do Hards without pitting if you like. Medium is not compulsory but is faster...

    It reminds me a lot of the Red Orchestra games. I played 45 minutes today. Bit annoyed the UI hasn't been touched in 2 years and the server browser is rudimentary, plus I died a lot and it's a lot to learn with no tutorial and there are geezers in my ear calling out commands to places in a map i hadn't worked out how to use yet, but you know what? It was brilliant 🙂 There's some optimisation needed but the gameplay is so absorbing and it's really quite satisfying if you like the hardcore experience. Not totally sure how much I'll play, it as its not really a game to play solo, although I'm sure I'll dip into it from time to time.

    I've played a bit on Xbox today. I'll reserve judgment for now but it's enjoyable so far. I think the shooting will be better with keyboard and mouse so I'll give the Windows version a try next.

    BFV too, EA/DICE dropped support for it despite having lots more content in there no-one got access to. But yeah, really, CDPR's behaviour pre (and I'm still finding this staggering) post launch is incredibly short-sighted and pretty despicable.

    Installed on Xbox and PC. Will try it on Xbox today with a controller and then KB&M on PC to see which feels better. Looks and sounds great, hope it plays good as well...

    Well, Gr.4 is a bit of a struggle in the Nissan but enjoyed both races last night despite poor performance on my part. Great to see Paul and Nick getting better. In fact @Bluebear had serious pace at Suzuka 🙂

    With regards Rooney, I'm more interested in seeing how Derby get on this season. Limited resources there and they've even given Ravel Morrison what must be his final chance in top flight football. Will be tough season for them.

    I'm starting to see the fantastic benefits of the xbox game pass, this will get installed at some point after a big long list of others I've thought about but never bought. Looks good on the series x👍

    Yep, this is the draw for me. I've quite a few games like Civ, Anno, WH40k etc that would get a lot more play time on a handheld.

    I enjoyed the new Modern Warfare but then they followed up with a downgrade, which is what Cold War was....so I don't expect anything good...and as Lee says, it's all about Warzone now.

    Depends on the game, don't need more than 30fps for Civilisation type games for example. What it offers is choice. If they get it right and properly support it, it'll sell by the bucket load.
