  1. Myself, Kiwi and Leigh were together the first 5 laps and everytime we got to that high speed chicane I had to go off track to avoid hitting one of them and crashing us all out. In 20 laps of practice did not pick up a single penalty πŸ™ƒπŸ˜…
  2. No Goldeneye 🧐 But Ocarina of Time will definitely see some action, probably the last Zelda I actually completed 😁
  3. Same here, no problems for me and I use Chrome, but only via my phone the last couple of days.
  4. It's a really well done game, highly recommend it on PC. Did your hear WW3 is making a comeback too? If they get it out before BF2042 it might have a chance. But that also depends if they've fixed its issues.
  5. If I was playing Density regularly with this bunch of reprobates I'd also... But seriously, take care of yourself mate, all for one and one for all ❀
  6. You get some of the updated content, weapons for example, but not first person or the 6 new missions. I was only interested in it for the change of perspective but not paying for it lol
  7. Yeah I actually reinstalled it thinking I could play it in 1st person. Deleted it again when I saw I couldn't 😁
  8. Not sure what numbers we have for tomorrow, 4 signed up so far, but as the first race is the league race don't forget that whatever car you use, that's your manufacturer for all the league races. Despite it's flaws at Gr.4 I think I'll be sticking with Nissan.
  9. I noticed in the Nvidia thread @Dr Diamond has a 550W PSU, so yep, if that's the case will definitely need to be replaced. My PSU is 1000W.
  10. I thought Aftermath was a free upgrade if you owned the original but nope, Β£15.
  11. It's an FPS and many other things, including RPG. Like I mentioned, modders have created multiple game modes beyond the base game. The Arma Life mod, for example, you can choose a career and level up your skills and licenses, join factions etc. You can be a miner, a farmer, police, ambulance crew, drug dealer and more. I realise how much I miss playing now I'm talking about it so much.
  12. Take a game like Arma 3. It's been going since 2013. It has had constant updates and various dlc over the years but never more than Β£20. I've got them all and in total it probably cost less than Β£50... in 8 years. More importantly they opened the game to the modding community who went on to create amazing game modes which you can access for free. Arma Life, King of the Hill, DayZ etc etc....and it's still one of the most popular games on Steam. That's just one example from many but I suppose it's different on console, and the big boy AAA companies don't like modding....so it is what it is. As I said before, it's entirely subjective how folk feel about it and I'm not complaining about Density, I've bought the dlc myself..but let's not pretend there aren't other better ways of doing things.
  13. The price of Destiny updates is too expensive. I agree continued development has to be paid for, but if you're paying the price of a new game every year, you should be getting a new game. But I also understand those who play regularly are probably getting value for their money.
  14. While for some games, DayZ for example, the server hosting allows you to alter day and night cycle in the configuration, I think it isn't possible in Valheim due to the sleep mechanic. Hopefully the game itself will in future allow that, but not possible right now.
  15. For video editing, extra RAM will definitely help speed things up. How many Watts is your current PSU? You're quite right about that and will be a factor when looking at the latest GPUs.
  16. Another golden oldie passes, RIP Boysie Found out today he was Twitter friends with Ice T, incredible πŸ™‚
  17. So, after 18 months of no wipes, looks like the next patch means back to square one. I'll lose all my money plus my only recently acquired dragonfly 😬 But that was going to happen at some point and the reasons for it are pretty good.
  18. Another old footballer leaves this mortal coil. Jimmy, probably the best striker this country has ever produced, would literally walk the ball into the back of the net. Another genius who had too close a relationship with alcohol meaning a shorter career than it should have been. RIP sir πŸ‘
  19. Let's be real. This conclusion had something of the inevitable about it from the very first post πŸ˜…
  20. I have a thing with early access games where I'm already mentally prepared. To be honest I generally just try a game out when it's first released and then hop on and off occasionally through its development cycle until the full release. So I'm happy with whatever you guys want to do.
  21. Not sure how much can get done in just one month, suppose that depends on what's causing the delay...but 100% prefer to play a polished game at launch. I guarantee whenever it is released it will still have problems 😁 Meanwhile, I booted up BF4 on the PS5 last night for the first time and it was even better than I expected.
  22. I had D&D last night so only had about am hour to play. Very happy with the player UI and shooting mechanics. Makes me wonder why Cyberpunk couldn't do it to this standard.
  23. If it had Dominik Diamond back in it I'd definitely watch, he used to crack me up 😁
  24. That's helpful and sounds like he will play most contemporary games and need a half decent computer that will last him some years. But as I say, it's not a great time to be buying a PC as it's more expensive than usual. Would a laptop be a consideration or are you thinking desktop? What is your budget? Sorry to be asking more questions but we'll get there...
  25. A few of us are going to reinstall BF4 on the PS, could be good to refamiliarise with it before 2042 drops, plus it's an excellent game unlocked at 60 frames on the PS5. If you fancy it, reinstall or obtain it from EA Play and we'll have a blastπŸ™‚
