  1. Anyone else trying this out today?
  2. The PC Beta for this is now on Origin available to pre-load
  3. Betting shops adorn most british high streets, but yeah I think there's some addiction going on in those places. I know people who gather for poker but I think it's for small amounts and for fun. Not tried it myself. I've watched the first half of the Superbowl tonight, 'tit for tat' sums it up for me so far. And I'm not talking Katy Perry
  4. For £7.49 I'm giving it a go
  5. Cheers Sennex. Anyone here played it? I see some decent reviews
  6. My old man used to though I'm not sure these days, my brother does and plenty of people at work do, mostly football and horse racing. I'm not a fan of gambling (don't trust myself) so I've only ever bet on the derby (famous horse race) once or twice. I am tempted sometimes to bet against the football team I support so if we lose then at least I win something, but I could never make myself go through with it
  7. It does look really fun fro, what I can see. I heard today that they're not going to allow anyone to mod it, that's probably more a WB move than a Techland one, but it's a shame.
  8. This link should help. http://www.gtagaming.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68413 GTA SA is a bit complicated as you may need to mess around downgrading the version you have to allow mods to be used.
  9. If the London Silly Nannies aren't playing then I don't want to know
  10. Ha ha I didn't see the message, though could see you were online. I'll have to pay attention from now on
  11. Thanks James, I watched several reviews online which echo what you say, it looks really nice and Total Biscuit's port review was extremely interesting with regards to view distance and frame-rate. Tempting me plenty this game right now and.... but I'm saving for a decent 48 inch tv and I'll probably wait til the price drops a little.
  12. Had my second game today, Garen again and I took the advice with Q, saved my ass a few times. We won, I died three times by Nunu (very annoying) but I'm level 4 now. Onwards and upwards
  13. This game has been really been popular in the modding community, of mods there are plenty. This website provides a nice guide: http://www.moddb.com/games/grand-theft-auto-san-andreas/mods
  14. A friend of mine, via a convoluted international operation managed to get me a pre-order of GTAV on PC for £25. As a result of pre-ordering before 1 Feb I have been given a free game. It's GTA San Andreas on PC, which I already have. If anyone wants this I can gift it to them on Steam, just let me know.
  15. The man is fucking class, both were quality goals. To be fair until that freak last 15 minutes we pretty much bossed the game and could have had a hatful. Conditions were awful. We're in the final!!!!!!!!
  16. Thanks for the advice Tommy, that's really appreciated
  17. Ah the Cornish Cornwall is the celtic part of England, they have their own language, flag and savoury pie (pasty). Excellent advert , I rarely use the the underground/tube myself (though cycling in between buses and taxis isn't great either) but it's true, we probably still breathe in the skin dust of people who died a 100 years ago. £8 a pint is wide of the mark though, at least round my way, and you can still get six cans of stella for a fiver
  18. Soooooo....I had my first online game of LoL. I had a couple of aborted efforts over the weekend. I was trying to get into all human games and the waits to find a game were too long. Last night I tried the humans v bots mode and got into a game immediately. We were defeated and one of my fellow players (summoners?) left the game early (which contributed to the defeat). It was close though...I kept switching lanes too much, I died about 7 times lol. What did I learn? I learned that I need to be a little more careful and not put myself in a position where I take a lot of damage with not enough time to escape and heal. I was playing as Garan, I like pressing E and getting him in to spin around with his sword, it's the only thing I managed to max out during the game.
  19. Lol there you go then, that's proper feedback ha ha
  20. I have Dirt 3 and Grid 2. Customisation is mostly choosing between liveries, advertisers etc Gameplay-wise I prefer Dirt 3. I think The Crew is probably closer to what you're looking for but I don't know anyone who has it on Steam.
  21. Well, looks like Sheffield Utd will be playing Cheatski in the final
  22. Cheers James, was keeping my eye on this, but may leave it for a Steam sale...
  23. I totally agree with what you say. It is a massive undertaking, and with my honest hat on I would say that that it 'probably' won't be the game I want it to be. But, it's something I will support while it appears headed in the right direction. My only doubts aren't to do with how much they eventually raise but whether it's yet technologically possible to pull off what they want to achieve. We'll see
  24. Frankie is the man, love his vids, a lot of folk seem to have issues with him, I've never been able to work that one out
  25. How does it seems to have bitten off more than it can chew? You need to back that up with a fact, or some analysis. Otherwise I deem your post trollworthy For me, they have delivered on their promises so far, I've enjoyed my little visits, though I still can't pilot for toffee. The developer is well known and highly regarded. They have more money than they know what to do with. My only fear is that people will need super rigs to play it. My set up will cope I think though by the time the game is finished I'll probably be upgrading anyway
