    I've never used Vegas but it gets name-checked a lot. Being a virgin to this kind of thing I appreciate the advice, I'm glad I asked I'll have a look at Adobe Premiere, the Elements 12 edition looks affordable.

    I only recently started playing this Arma 3 mod recently, it's a seriously good laugh. I've been playing with Aitchy and Dylan has shown us some of the ropes, which has been very useful, cheers Dylan. We play on the Blackwing servers and they're quite well organised. I'm having so many funny encounters I think I'm going to start recording properly for the first time....anyone know where to get Sony Vegas on the cheap???

    Anyone play this on PC? I've only played with A.I. and I hear it's a better experience with other players. Anyone got it and fancy a go?

    I get that, I use both my side buttons and I had difficulty for ages with reviving (because I panic mostly) but its been good exercise for my fingers and I think just about still worth the trade off.

    I'm exactly the opposite. I played BF3 on Xbox360 and then played BF4 on PC. I find aiming much easier with a mouse

    Maybe we can all meet online today if enough of us are around. Anytime after 5pm is good for me.

    One thing I've done is start to memorize the places I find water pumps, I then drink until it tells me I'm stuffed (lol). Seems to allow me to turbo sprint for ages before getting thirsty again. Also remember, eating food like rice, while curing your hunger, will actually dehydrate you.

    Agreed wholeheartedly. The server hopping I had never really noticed in the Mod but it appears to be endemic in the SA right now. Don't trust anyone. I've only been KoS'd once in the SA but that was a server hopper while I wwas looting a barracks.

    My thoughts on DayZ standalone currently. It’s still fairly basic and so: No vehicles yet Not place to store items/loot yet No hunting yet There aren’t a lot of zombies at the moment and once they die they do not seem to respawn until a server restart There’s a lot more attention to food and particularly water if you’re running a lot, which you will be As loot (like Zeds) only spawns once, scavenging is a lot more important The map has new features and building and most of the buildings are now enterable New features like handcuffing people, needing certain items to open cans of food Towerblocks are cool, as is the abandoned ship…
