    Star Citizen put out a lot of information on a weekly basis about what they're up to and it can be a bit of a trawl. This chap below condenses a lot of said information and is a great resource for keeping up to date with progress.

    It is on PS4 that's true. To think that this is the 'spiritual successor to Elite, that old BBC micro computer game I played in short pants back in 1988🤣 I had a Commodore 64 but a mate had the BBC, Elite was the only game and needed a million floppy disks😁

    The price of graphics cards has dropped to a decent level finally. This is probably the best month to start buying parts for your build👍 Should I start a WhatsApp group (Don't lynch me🤣) with the people on here who have knowledge of PC building?     Yeah all very sad. The little prick who did the Swat apparently does it a lot. So fuck him. Saw a vid of the mother of the guy who was killed. Said the police didn't knock or give any warning, her son noticed flashing lights outside, went to the front door, opened it to see what was going on and got shot.     This is horrible. Can't they find a better way of dealing with situations than shooting people? I'd never open my front door to the cops (or probably anyone for that matter lol) if I lived in the US. Fuck that for a game of soldiers.

    It's in Alpha. There's plenty to do right now but it's a drop in the water compared to what it will be....you'll probably have a better experience further down the development road. Once you're ready to take the plunge you'd go for a game package like the one below, which allows you access to the Star Citizen universe, provides you a ship, a hangar, in game currency and 6 months of ship insurance. It's currently £43 GBP and I believe that if you also want the single player Squadron 42 you can purchase it as an extra for £15. If you just want the single player game I believe that's £43 as a standalone. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/Packages/Mustang-Alpha-SC-Starter Major updates will occur quarterly from now on, so we'll see what gets added in March. Face Over IP would be good but I'll settle for VOIP.

    I hear from tbe community that the Shoreline is laggy and dysync hell at the moment, I had an explore of it and it is flippin massive now. I didn't have any issues myself but it was just me and no scavs. For PVP or PVE I'd definitely avoid this map for the time being.

    Ha yeah maybe stick to 1920 or whatever it is. Make sure SSAO etc are turned off. Vsync too. Should have no issues at all playing offline. Was it Shoreline? I've not been in that yet since they doubled the size of the map this week. Customs is the best map to start off with. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
