Let's not also forget that it's just been black friday and cyber mongday, so people have been spending their time online looking for deals. Plus the festive season is coming so people have their minds elsewhere a bit too. Forums are generally a bit dead at this time of year. That said, my sig on ever other site I'm a member of is a link to here. Loads of people saying that it's dead here and nobody doing anything about it. I do try but my time is fairly limited at the moment.

Get a Synology NAS and install Plex on it. Synology for storage, Plex will automagically transform any films or TV shows into a wonderful interface, adding cast, credits, the lot. XBMC is also an option, but it's recently been renamed to Kodi.

I usually run UAV, CUAV, care package & engineer. Hellstorm is piss weak in this and gets shot down by trophy systems. Lightning strike is weak too, works ok for defending flags though. Rolling thunder is well... yeah. Crap. Wall E is decent but I can't be arsed controlling it, the new Dragonfire is good too if you want to control it but I don't like controlling stuff so it's usually just a massive flag above my head going "HE'S HERE GUYS, OVER HERE, COME LOOK!". GI Joe is decent when he gets in to a good area. RAPS are great but if you're up against a half decent side odds are it'll get shot down before it can even enter the map. Same with Wraith. Even the HATR (fuck me, what a name eh?) can be shot down with three rockets. Annoyingly I've resorted to running ghost when playing with randoms because these dumb fucks will never shoot down a UAV but mine always last about three seconds.

Definitely a driver issue. The driver only loads once Windows starts up which is when your screen goes black, plus safe mode restricts drivers from loads, hence why it works. You need DDU. Run that, remove any drivers you can find, and reinstall Catalyst.

Weren't you messing about with multiple screens recently? If so, are they all turned on? Unplug them all except for the one plugged in to the GPU and see if it sorts it.

As I've said before, this game can simply not be a modern FPS with all the bells and whistles. I just wouldn't work within the SW franchise. The problem is that this game is aimed at Star Wars fans primarily, and many of those aren't FPS gamers. If you were to take the average Star Wars fan and stick him in the middle of a match of BF4 or CoD, he'd throw his controller out the window. This is why this game isn't designed to be a massive AAA FPS title. It has too broad of an audience to cater to.
