Stole this story from elsewhere but it seems to be a fairly well known one and crops up on Reddit every time the Blackbird gets mentioned. For those of you who don't know, the SR-71 Blackbird is the daddy. It was the fastest, quietest, highets flying aircraft in its time and was used mainly for spy missions and reconnaissance. They said that if you'd flown a Blackbird, you'd hit the top and there was no higher for a pilot. When a missile was detected, all these pilots had to do was open up the taps - there was literally not a single missile which could catch it. This story made me smile, enjoy

Yeah, the boss fights are terrible but then this applies to most MMOs really. As soon as you start adding in some randomness to make it seem a bit more realistic the community (me) starts whinging and whining that it's too hard. Bob's comment made me laugh

I started levelling my huntard and am raking them in. If you intend to do another character, simply do that and they'll roll in passively whilst you enjoy yourself rather than grind for them and get fucked off like me.

AW was a fucking disaster in terms of mobility and the reason I played about 5 matches then shelved it. BO3's wall running is more of a gimmick to shut the squeakers up and is in no way required to enioy the game at all. This is really starting to look like a day one purchase for me. I've worked 7 days a week for way too long to not be able to treat myself.

I miss 1.2 big style, but then I was a rushing, shoulder charging, thorn wielding, shotgun in yer face motherfucker. Basically everything I loved has been nerfed. It's not gone unnoticed to me that the game rewards slower playstyles now, the amount of snipycunts has increased tenfold. It's ok though, I think once BO3 hits Destiny PvP won't get much time outside of Banana.

To be fair though, that map was difficult for everyone to see on, there were those corners where you could lie down and cover a whole path and be almost invisible. Not that I'm a campy twat or anything.

Quick update, we've had two more contributions from Plumber Dave and Jordie, thanks to both of you! We're just shy of £50 so far (it'd be £50 if Paypal didn't take a cut, bastards) so hopefully we can help make this guy's Christmas a bit better!

I'll get it eventually, but I've got Vegas coming up, Christmas and my mother's 60th on the second of January. Then there's a christening I need to go to, I need to arrange a meet for us FGers. Oh and I can't do as much overtime as I'd like because I'm studying, so suffice to say I'm a bit tight atm

Lol bart. Black Friday or Cyber Monday is online sales only for me. I refuse to be around people who instantly forget that humans are evolved creatures and turn in to rabid dogs trying to get to the last pukka pie. Disgusting behaviour. Last year people actually fucked each other up over tvs. POLAROID TVs. That's like fighting over Kerry Mulligan.
