@GazzaGarratt that's no longer my place, I've started camping on top of a shop which has zombie bears in it. Alex likes to come play with the bears now and then who then promptly give him the shredder treatment and he's usually got some nice goodies in his backpack so it's great. I'm a bit like that bloke with candy in a van except I'm a bloke hiding on the top of a shop with bears. I'm still hopelessly lost on what I'm meant to be doing, the crafting is good and all but I lack the arsed to apply myself to do the more complicated stuff so I pick up these superawesomemegacool recipes, learn them, look at the pretty pictures, then go kill more zombies with a club. I guess being chronically knackered all the time at the moment doesn't help this but whatevs. I'm just enjoying the survival aspect at the moment and learning the quickest ways to dispatch zeds. @tronic44 Rachel and I had a moment last night, all romantic by the fireplace whilst waiting out horde night. On a bridge. Above a massive hungry bear. We drank water, ate charred meat, we may have even sung a little ditty to the bear, I can't remember as I was constantly mesmerized by Rachel's stopsign on his back beautiful eyes. @Shucker Start off by following the basic steps which will appear in the top right of your screen when you first spawn in. The first one will be to create a bedroll, to do this you need 10x plant fibers, so just smash a load of plants to bits and you'll pick them up. Then press TAB to open your inventory, in the search bar on the left hand side, type in "bedroll" and then click on craft/create/make/whatever it says on the right hand side of the screen. Once it's crafted, open your inventory again and drag the bedroll to your hotbar at the bottom of the screen. Using your mouse wheel will scroll between all the items on your hotbar, left click will rotate the item in your hands, and right click will place it. Find a nice house / building / whatever to use as the start of a base and get as high up as possible. You effectively want to reduce the access to you by zombies, I found that a nice high building with only one staircase reaching the top was perfect, I then destroyed the staircase so nothing could climb up it and I use wooden frames to access it. Tbh your best bet is to hop on when we're on, the guys are very helpful as always, just stay away from @GazzaGarratt Leigh The Destroyer. Oh and Rachel collects chairs, it's considered very rude on our server to not bring him a chair when you meet up with him. Don't be that guy.

So I've actually been rather keen to play a bit more. The Septicfalcon server is ok but it's dead as a doornail, there's no threat or HOLY FUCK moments, nor is there any night cycle. If anything, the only danger in the game is starvation and thirst, both of which seem to be turned up a bit whilst the food / drink spawns are turned down to nothing. My problem is, I like the KOS stuff. I like the threat of seeing other people in the distance and the adrenaline winding me the fuck up. I have no interest in role play, it just removes the biggest and most exciting aspects of DayZ. I'll find a different server and post it up. When I'm online I'll pop a message in the whatsapp group indicating that I'm online, if you lot want to stop playing My Little Pony for a bit and come be ruthless murder machines instead, you will know where to find me 😄

I'm really impressed with that little Stonic, it's a fantastic little car. We were looking at X-Ceeds a while ago and I ended up having a mooch around the showroom and honestly Kia make great cars, as do Hyundai. I remember the days when driving either of these marques was basically self-admission that you've failed at life. It's awesome how far they've come!

HZD right off the bat, Destiny (shut it Leigh), Overwatch, GTA V, RDR 2 ( still need to go back and finish it). The Division was good, I’m not a fan of the whole bullet sponge thing and think that the baddies could’ve been much better but the mechanics, atmosphere and graphics are right up there with the best. Broforce gets a mention for just being a silly over-the-top shooter with TONS of cameos from various films. Great fun. Fortnite, when this game came out it was a game changer and if I was 12 with the reactions to match I’d probably still play it now and then. Can’t think of anything else right now, pretty tragic how few games I’ve actually played on the PS4.

Still rocking the Mini, needs a bit of TLC but it's honestly the best car to have in London. I can squeeze it through any spot, park it on a dime, costs £lol to run, don't care if it gets a scratch or ding, and I can honestly say it's one of the toughest cars I've ever driven. It probably spends more time airborne than it does on the road what with all the speed bumps. How the front valance is still holding on is beyond me. She wants an SUV though and is sort of set on a BMW X1, because... you know... women. Logic doesn't go beyond "that one looks pretty" but this is a discussion for a different thread!

We have a fucking rover on Mars, men on the moon, we've discovered the Higgs Boson, and a bloke floating around in a Tesla Roadster in space, we're bringing internet to even the most rural parts of the world with motherfucking satellites but we can't automate a fucking software update. Ladies and gentlemen, consoles. PS this whinge is completely unnecessary as it's updated thanks to Rachel but I never miss an opportunity to have a little moan.

Done a bit of quick research and can see that this doesn't use Bluetooth like every other headset in the world because Xbox, which leaves you shit out of luck sadly. If you plug in the cable, does it show up? There must be a way to get it to work, however this might be at the cost of the wirelessness of it.

Consistency is king, and I like being consistently unpredictable. Or perfectly predictable, I can't tell anymore.
