Sometimes I don't mind a game that isn't too heavy on interaction and more about the story. Some of the best games in the past aren't because of their controls or gameplay but more about how they've hooked people into the story. Hopefully there are still some good intuitive gameplay bits though, as one would hope having the chance to be Indy in a game should be pretty cool! I'm still going to hold out for a physical PS5 version for as long as I can.

I can’t stand Price so I wish he was off the list.

It is ideal for the steamdeck, we play on a big screen generally but it's quite a relaxing game. You can potter about and not do much. We are contemplating going for the plat trophy but there is a mini game in there which is meant to be quite difficult. I probably need to do that when I am on it on my own maybe.

It's powerful granted, but I wish they would stop using so many artificial elements to inflate performance figures. I miss the days when a card could be tested in its basic form and it would get 60-120fps and a 50% performance boost on the last gen and everyone would be happy. Nowadays its all DLSS + Frame Gen and other factors and sure, a game like Cyberpunk may push out 300fps at ultra settings but with all the back-end upscaling on the card, it's literally just 1080p upscaled 4 times to buggery and the image may end up looking blurred or of a lower quality than if you just ran everything maxed out on a 3080 with all upscaling factors turned off and the resolution flat-native. Yeah, the frames may be cut by two thirds and Nvidia's marketing gets blown to shit but at least it's an honest depiction. Literally going the same way as the iPhone and these gimmick performance bolstering elements exclusive to cards are actually covering up bad optimisation or giving a false experience just to convince users the card is better than it is. I always turn off all this shit even if it means getting XXfps less because I know the image quality will be an accurate representation of the game and not hardware bloat. It's entirely possible that I'll go with something like Geforce Now in future, instead of buying over priced hardware. Nvidia's cloud service let's people play their own games, ie you can access and play your Steam library. Which is massive imo

The obvious game for most will likely be GTA 6. There's rumours of a Bethesda remaster of Oblivion and/or Fallout 3. Which would be nice but not really necessary. Escape From Tarkov is due to release the final map and come out of Beta. Elders Scrolls 6 would be nice but unlikely. If I think of more I'll come back. I'm actually in a sweet spot right now game wise so I'm in no real hurry for anything tbh

I had a mate sleeping on my sofa for a few days over the festive period. I let him play this. He did it on hardest difficulty and got all the way to the final boss. Watching him play this game, I'd say about 75% of it is interactive movie. It's very well done but not sure I'm likely to play it myself now lol
