All really great choices so far! In the interest of not picking the same games (I would have picked The Last of Us) I am going to pick the following: - God of War (2018) - Resident Evil 7 - Zelda Breath of the Wild - Uncharted 2 - Portal (1&2 - is that cheating 🤣) Picking just one of the portal games is hard! The first game is so iconic and brilliant, but the second game is definitely better!4 points -

Where to start? In fact, that's a good point in itself because I have no idea where the starting point is for 2024 now we're already in February! 😅 Life has seriously flown by from what I've experienced, even when it has certainly been busy (Yes, 'busy'. The common phrase we all fall into using most days...I have also been one of those victims 💀). With 2024 already well on its way and started it would be awesome to see the energy pumping back up again across the board. As you get older I've realised that my purpose in life is really to make others feel happy and that they have meaning too. Seems cheesy, like, really cheesy doesn't it. 🧀 But sod it, I don't care. And it matches what FG does and already has been doing for years and years. Depression, Loneliness, Illness, Loss, Sadness...I could go on. Think of all of the things you can you think of that aren't a great feeling to have in life, FG has been there in some way to help people with this. We should do more of it. We need to do more of it. Someone said to me recently you can't change the world...yeah, yeah, I know that. But I woke up today thinking, well is there any problem if we did give it a go? 😎 So, rather than go on and on as I know you all love it when I do 😘 lets be far briefer than previous articles. All I ask is we make one promise together here at FG in 2024 - to put in as much effort as humanly possible making our FG Home alive and kicking more than it ever has been. No metrics, just pure effort. You'll quickly find you'll be helping more FGers than you realise just by sticking around, getting involved and thinking of others. GGFG ❤️🖤3 points -

I loved playing the original and can't wait for this!! I lost count of how many times I jumped out of my skin playing this, was one of the most tense gaming experiences I've ever had! Hopefully this will stay true to the atmosphere and gameplay of the original 🤞2 points -
I'm probably mentioning games that others have already said, but i think this would have to be my choices: Last Of Us Uncharted 3 Alien Isolation Batman Arkham City Gears of War 3 I loved the Uncharted series so picking one was hard, and the Ezio based Assassins Creed games were always favourites that I spent many many hours on.2 points

Some of the games I would have chosen are above so to give some more options for a final vote - - Final Fantasy IX - Minecraft - Baldurs Gate 3 - World of Warcraft - Mass Effect 2 I steered away from a lot of retro titles, I think as Bones suggested they need to be easily accessible today, with Final Fantasy having been re-released on ever console known to man and Mass effect having it's remaster not all that long ago means you don't need to boot up an older console to play them.2 points

So I had not picked this up as intended originally and have now finally bought it with it coming out on consoles. It isn't cheap mind but I have a bit of a void at the moment in that a lot of games aren't quite capturing my attention and I am waiting for a couple to be released. So picking this up and so far it's every part the MMO however it's quite pretty, the story seem's decent so far and I am quite enjoying it, you can see where it take's it's inspiration from mind. As I put a few more hours in I will provide a more detailed write up but just thought I would open up the conversation and see if anyone else has played this at all?1 point -

Went to see Joker Folie a Deux last week. It was a good film, but definitely nowhere near as good as the first film. If you dont like musicals I don't think you would enjoy it as there are quite a few songs spread throughout the film, but the way they are used works. The ending was definitely not expected and in my opinion wasn't the best way to end it. If you watched the first one would recommend giving it a watch when it comes to streaming services.1 point

So, just wondering if there would be any interest in seeing if we can come up collectively with an FG top 10 must play games list? Currently thinking the format along the lines of everyone puts a list down of say 5 games each, we then all have to put them into priority and then each position get's a set number of points i.e. if I put the Witcher 3 top, then Fifa (heaven forbid) second then Witcher 3 would say get 10 points and then Fifa 9 and so on and so on. Would that interest people or am I shouting into the wind? 😄 I would then look at doing a short write up for each game in the top 10 so if anyone has comments to say about any of their nominations, memories and such put them in the post and I could look to use them in the write ups.1 point

Ooooo my sort of post James 😄 My suggestions and I am making these based on the sorts of games I have seen you talk about on here - - Max Payne (Fairly sure this is on steam) - Deus Ex - The longest Journey (Think Broken Sword esque) - This is because it is one of my favourite ever games and I think everyone should play it - Dragon Age Origins - Medal of honour Allied assault (On GOG store)1 point -
I unfortunately don’t have many to add as I only really play the basics like Rocket League, FIFA and COD. However I am enjoying Hogwarts, Baldur’s Gate and Sea of Thieves although I know they’re probably not the most recent games.1 point

Hell fucking yeah, at last we are getting a sequel to it, the first one was a masterpiece even if it was a bit longer than it should, it's the only game that I have finished on highest difficulty and it was BRUTAL, the hospital level when the difficulty spikes for the first time was insane, I was sweating and trembling the whole time1 point -

It was a horrifying experience! I would literally spend 10 minutes hiding in a locker just waiting for the right time to leave. The alien AI was so good and unpredictable that you had to be on your toes at all times and even the slightest of sounds could get you into trouble.1 point -
