The last of us mainly due to how Joel and Ellie relationship through out the game bonded as if they were father and daughter. The whole of the walking dead telltale series mainly due to the characters ones you think won't die and the last game you think the main character dies. Am hoping they do another game as a different studio took over.

England 0-1 Iceland A pretty shambolic way to go into the Euros especially with so many bad individual performances as well as a team collective. It's only a friendly but to lose a game like that with a big tournament a week away is not encouraging. I think we are really going to miss Maguire and Phil Foden also has to step it up like he does for club. For all his critics, Pickford is also a key player. Dropping Grealish is such a massive call especially when he maintained Henderson for so many years so that could come back to haunt Southgate.

So, after all the bullshit, I was given my free access to the new PVE mode the other day. It's brutal but it's fantastic, no more having to deal with cheaters. The faction bots are lethal and I've only managed to extract successfully once out of five raids. KD of 1 though 🤪 Tarkov plays as smooth as butter and I'll be back on it a lot until Grey Zone gets optimised.

Just been released on Steam in early access and is another one of those photorealistic shooters like Unrecord. Not really interested but I hope one day a major developer utilises such aesthetics and makes a proper military-type sim out of it. We'll probably see more of these bordering on asset flips and whilst it's encouraging to see the potential, I think many will struggle to deliver a worthwhile concept over the visuals.

I do wonder if cutting players like Grealish and Maddison has had an effect on team morale. They're both big, positive personalities and maybe that vacuum creates uncertainty in the minds of players and affects confidence. I'd have kept one of them around. But then, Iceland are almost a bit of a bogey team for England, so who knows...

Crazy how 19 voted in favour of it. I think Wolves should've changed their approach and instead requested it be suspended and overhauled rather than it being outright removed. It's a wake-up call though but I hope this unanimous vote doesn't mean they can carry on like previous.

My point is they will need to claw back the deficit on revenue of unit sales lost from players choosing the pass instead of paying full whack. So instead of getting $70 for a sale, they may get $1 for an install. That's probably another three extra bundles they'll factor in just to mitigate the difference there. Then will also need to reassure the shareholders that the product will make even more money than the previous outings especially with a racially new business model so I'd expect even more content padding thrown in for good measure. Not only that, they have paid off Bobby about $300,000,000 and they somehow need to start chipping away at the $70bn they blew on the merger. So sure, they could probably even afford to pay people $70 to play the game and still make billions but that isn't going to claw back the money lost at retail. Even though Microsoft print money for fun, the recent brutal layoffs, sweeping cut-backs and dismal growth numbers of their gaming division still demonstrate its ran as a typical business so it will be very interesting to see how this change will impact each aspect. Losing potentially $1bn at retail right off the bat is not a good start.

Not generic mate. Just pure quality this one was and defined alot of what pinnacle console era stories needed to aim for in my opinion. Unpopular opinion would be Destiny. Its been a fascinating ride in terms of story, and some great missions and world it has created, even if we all probably hoped some of the background lore would've been in the game more. Recently, I would say the Hogwarts Legacy had a great storyline. Really inviting and made you want to keep playing more and more. Again, the world setting just makes such a difference. And its hard not to give Final Fantasy 7 a mention in here. Some of the best characters made in a game, that were also playable.

For me I have a few, I think it would be really difficult to choose 1 - Trails of Cold Steel - These are JRPG's with a sort of Westernised story i.e. when you really look beyond the JRPG element of it with the cutesy characters, females with big chests it plays out like a game of thrones style of thing with some of the politics going on. The Witcher - For this to be on none of your lists so far it is criminal. This for me is just the best game full stop. The story is brilliant and only adds to it. The last of us PT 1 - That has to be on anyone's list, the relationship between the two characters and the journey they go on. Chrono Trigger - This game takes you through so many worlds and there is some really creative elements within. Final Fantasy IX - For me it's like going to the theatre in the way the story is told, the relationships and then they way life & death is explored. I mean certain moments with Vivi are heartbreaking.

Love this topic! There are so many great stories in video games now. It’s hard for me to choose but I would have to go with God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarok. Some honorable mentions: - Last of Us & Last of us part 2 - Red Dead Redemption 2 - Gears of War 1-3 - Star War Fallen Order & Survivor

Probably Deus Ex. The game essentially predicted the future.
