  1. Who else thought that the Stryker SMG is soooo good? Also the MCW (ACR) is so good too. Anyone else like the certain guns from the beta?

  2. Had my first proper go, Hardpoint on Favela. And of course i was the only person in my team playing the objective lol Felt great to be quite honest, I love all the new places you can climb on that map and I'm now worried I might actually buy it. Also, I agree on friendlies and enemies, so I'll be steering clear of hardcore game modes just in case I team kill and get booted.

  3. So I am sat here this morning looking at a computer screen and if I'm being honest I can't really be arsed 😄 So I thought I would ask what people do for work and what are your day to day tasks like? For me I design relatively simple mechanical building services for residential complexes, literally right now I am producing a schematic for the water supply around the building, working out sizes of pipes and the routes they will be taking, little snippet below - Generally my work day can be quite varied, some days design team meetings, others doing drawings like the above, others it's meeting suppliers or sub-contractors and coming up at the end of this month is the first 3d project we are doing internally (which as the others in the design team have no experience of Revit I will likely be leading). So yeah what do you get up to in your work day?

  4. After saying I wasn't going to pre-order I came in from the pub and was playing mw2, and thought why when I could try something new so fuck it. I have to say I'm glad I did because I've had more fun on this beta than on mw2 for a while. People know my biggest gripe for mw2 was maps, infact I think bad maps are the games biggest killer (ghosts) so no real excuses now. The gun play is solid and tbh straight away drew comparison to AW in feel. There are a few issues, mainly I have to agree visibility of players and the team they are in is an issue also, and no surprise footstep audio however the sneakers may help that but I wouldn't want it to be a crutch perk, if it is then that shows it's an issue. With the old school mini map it as suggested in the past helps with game flow and will mean suppressors will be useful. So far come November 10th mw2 can be banished for good.

  7. Top of the world until after the internationals period, I'll certainly take that for Tottenham. Not very clever, or indeed sporting, from Bissouma so I hope he has a word with himself. Defence is looking good finally, and only injuries will hamper us this season. Strong teams in the prem will make this a very exciting and tough season, it already is 🙂

  8. One issue I have found is recognizing enemies and friendly. It's very faint to tell when you are in the heat of battle. I have found shooting friendly quite often. Hopefully that will be more recognizable later on.

  9. I think they had to put that in to counter the covert sneakers, however with how the gear works people may not run that as much as something maybe more beneficial.

  10. There is the equipment that makes footsteps louder so I suspect that the quiet sneakers will end up being a crutch perk. Why they've put something in that makes footsteps louder is a mystery to me. They know that people hate the loud footsteps in MW2.

I’ve seen the latest gameplay footage and I must take back what I said previous - this game actually looks pretty decent and clearly some serious work has gone into it since it’s early reveals. Combat still looks a bit basic and clunky but the visuals, attention to detail and particle effects are seriously impressive as is the presentation. This honestly could be a surprise hit of the year if it plays as good as it looks. Even gives me F.E.A.R vibes a demo is also available which I can’t believe I didn’t realise. I’m gonna download that tomorrow on Steam

  12. Sadly only managed about an hour on the beta so will have to give it a better go in the upcoming beta dates. Though I didn’t see anything to make me not want to get it. It’s certainly good to have the old maps back. A couple of things though, I can see the breacher drone getting nerfed as it’s quite OP at times. It also seems there’s some description missing on some things as it took a few minutes to figure out why I didn’t have a lethal grenade until I figure out the vest changes it. I assume one of the other vest gives overkill too but hard to know as they don’t say it.

  13. My work day is a work night well it has been pretty much constantly since 95... just passed 37 years service as a CNC machinist in a heavy engineering company mostly producing pump equipment for the oil and gas industry. No we didn't do piper alpha😉. We have however done some world record stuff at times, I'm pretty proud of the stuff I've produced but im now looking forward to getting out for good hopefully at the right time with a nice wedge of redundancy. I'm also not just an operator but programmer and setter too. I've posted some pics on my ppr before but this will give some idea.

  14. I lead a team that designs 5G and datacenter chips. It spans over 6 countries and 13 time zones So I get to have meetings at all kind of ridiculous hours but I get a lot of spaces in between which allows me to game if I want to. Customers are companies like Cisco, Ericsson, Nokia, Microsoft, Ciena, ZTE, Rakuten, Facebook, Google. Most of the chips can be customized to the customers specific needs. The typically handle 1.6 Terabyte per second of data using serial links that individually handle 106.26 Gigabyte per second of bandwidth. Most of the interfaces are Ethernet, PCIE or wireless 5G I typically design review the designs or help the less experience people with the designs problems they might encounter. It's all done in Verilog/VHDL or Deep sub-micron Custom transceiver design

  17. Mate, those extra logos are incredible!!! Thanks bud! P.S. I need PNG ones too so we can use them everywhere else too! Current Car Manufacturer teams ( @Lurch @jordie1892 @crispymorgan @Mikepjbell @slamminbones @phil bottle @Macca89 @JBR-Kiwi @Greboth ) Make sure you get some of the new logos on your car for sure! Individual FG Special Drivers! ( @Diddums @Kurt @LordBaguette @Misneach_ @tronic44 @Spacedeck @Stretch616 @TonyAE86 @Findmartin @TurboR56Mini ) Grab some of these and upload them through the GT website. Takes literally a few minutes and you can then add some extra awesomeness to some of your own personal liveries. Get them done and shared up so we can see how many we can make 😎
