    Starfield

I'm only 6 hours in, and I'm only getting about 45fps on average but I'm enjoying it so far.

  2. Richy was well deserving of the Fans MotM. Spurs were unlucky not to get a penalty or two as well, played really well. Had Chelsea down to draw on the Predictions - not surprised they're still struggling. Sterling was unlucky not to score the free kick though.

Ok. I'm probably in the minority here. But, I'm really not liking this so far. I'm not really hooked on the story at all. I'm not a fan of the menu/inventory system. Disappointed with the starship control, and star map. Ship combat sucks. The 30 fps lock on series X is sad too. I hope it picks up, but I had more fun with The Outer Worlds then this.

  4. Looks like Respawn have finally fixed Titanfall 2's multiplayer mode after several years of it being completely broken. Game is also £2.49 currently in the sale and seen a major resurgence last couple of days. Hopefully it's a sign that the previously cancelled Titanfall 3 may be rejuvenated especially with Apex being past its best despite still being popular. Out of the blue, seven-year-old FPS Titanfall 2 has fully working multiplayer again | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Dare we hope Respawn is planning something special?

I was leaning towards the PS4 version as I was expecting another year with you guys on the PS4 version, now you are expecting me to find another £40 or whatever it is! 😄

  6. Utd have lots of internal turmoil, it will be a test for them to see how they deal with things. Not very well so far. Spuds v Woolwich next weekend at the emptycrates and that will be fun I'm sure 😁

  7. Thought Brighton played amazing again on the weekend. United look to be really struggling now.

Decided to purchase the Ultimate Edition as I'm hoping to get a PS5 for my birthday in November. Looking forward to starting a new career mode too, might look to record it for fun.

In this case I thought Tencent getting involved would be a good thing. Started off on kickstarter and promised the earth long before the Chinese got involved

    Dead Matter

It's actually looking worse than when I played it 3 years ago. The team making it seems to have changed about a dozen times and it blows my mind that they actually released it and are charging money for it.

  11. That’s good to hear, all the old maps, proper perks sounds like a big win to me. I think I’ll be in

  12. For it's time, it was a fantastic game. I loved it. But go back now and try that control scheme and janky movement. No thanks 😅

  13. I'm still uncertain. Whilst it would be nice to revisit all the classic MW2 maps, £60 seems quite steep for a game they've concocted in just a few months. I've followed the development quite extensively outside of the usual happy-faced PR in the media and it's been quite rough and panicked, but at the same time Infinity Ward were given 3 years and 12x as many employees and they got into a bit of a mess for a variety of things. So hopefully Sledgehammer can surprise everyone and deliver a decent and simple COD game without overthinking or implementing needless and unjustifiable changes to the core gameplay. It's basically MW2 2009 recycled/remastered which isn't a terrible idea but it certainly wont keep as many people on board like that game did back in the day so they need to have a strong post-launch plan set in stone too. I think £29.99 would've been a fairer price all round but I'm sure I'll be able to nab a key as usual in the £32-37 ballpark anyway. May leave it a few days to see if the campaign is worth it also.

It takes a few hours which is good. Then stuff starts opening up and you start figuring out the mechanics.

@Rumelyladystarted playing the other day. She's been enjoying it, but it hasn't been really sucking her in. We'll see if she sticks with it. I'm gonna start soon, honest, I swear!!!

  16. This. We're all gonna moan like 16 year old girls getting picked up from school in a Skoda but deep down we're all gonna enjoy that Skoda ride with our friends. Of course I'm getting it.

  17. I'll be getting it just for playing Fridays if nothing else which is what I said before putting 14 days into mw2(22) but at least I can't moan about the maps 😉. However I won't pick it up until after launch.
