  2. I don't understand it. Sanchez looked terrible, so did Porro. Richarlison looked like he didn't want to be there. Son did nothing. It was a terrible display.

Nice one Matt good luck with the savings plan. Did you get the new car? I'm similar to others I have a few games, mostly the monthly free ones from PS plus that I'd like to have a go at. But the few evenings a week that I go online there's always someone playing cod or fifa or rocket league so I just join them and don't play single player games.

  4. Shameful display from Spurs really. That was Sheffield United's second string on top! Sanchez is a woeful player and Perisic is finished. You knew by the hour mark that Utd were going to win because Spurs offered nothing throughout and there was no sign of them improving. Just like the Middlesbrough game the other year, it was always going to end with such a predictable outcome. With so many weaker sides left in the tournament, this was a real opportunity for Spurs too.

  5. Yeah, as soon as I saw the team sheet I could feel it in my bones. If you don't put your best side out in these games and finish them early it's always going to end that way. Baldock should have been sent off but fair play to Sheffield.

  7. I just completed the mission "Poisoned Well" this is a regular season 2 mission however during season 1 this mission was the Tier 4 Story mission with the reward of the Blood Soaked skin for Konig I didn't unlock this skin during season 1 but now having completed this mission in Season 2 the skin is unlocked, I guess this isn't intentional but hey I'm not gonna complain!! Presumably this works with the other skins not sure if it also applies to other unlocks like Emblems, Calling cards, etc. Legion Anonymous skin for Konig Season 1 Tier 2 Story "Frame Job" Is a Legion Tier 1 regular mission in Season 2 Blood soaked skin for Konig Season 1 Tier 4 Story "Poisoned Well" Is a Legion Tier 2 regular mission in Season 2 White Lotus Defuse skin for Zimo Season 1 Tier 2 Story "Two Birds" Doesn't seem to be available in Season 2 Anti Medis skin for Zimo Season 1 Tier 4 Story "Caved In" Is a White Lotus Tier 3 regular mission in Season 2 Black Mous Triage skin for Roze Season 1 Tier 2 Story "Espionage" Doesn't seem to be available in Season 2 Relentless skin for Roze Season 1 Tier 4 Story "Breaking and Entering" Is a Black Mous Tier 4 regular mission in Season 2

    Bright Memory

I haven't got round to either of the Bright Memory games yet but they are an impressive achievement considering both were made by just one person. Definitely seem very polished titles and look amazing technically.

I did yes, a volvo s60, not the most exciting to drive but it ticks a lot of boxes in comfort, economy and all the gadgets i could ever want. I have added a bit of structure because otherwise I just won't play half of them, I have decided I will pick like 3 games and see which I am feeling when I complete Hogwarts so that I am not tied to just 1 game. So they will all be different genres and it will be whatever style of game I fancy when I get to them. I like the idea of us all picking a game, essentially a bit like a book club ^_^ Maybe put up a poll for several games and see what the majority have available to them and pick one of those.

  11. Too big. I think I have a problem. I have plenty of top quality games to play, I just choose not to play them. Dishonored series, Bioshock series, Borderlands series, every Star Wars game, most Assassins Creed games, Metro series, older Stalker games, Fallout games, and many more like it. The only series I've really sat down and played through is Splinter Cell as I love them games, although I didn't finish Blacklist. I have over 1,600 on Steam after redeeming my keys from this Humble Turkey bundle. About 300 on GoG, and this doesn't even include the games On a Uplay, EA or even Epic. Then I have around 60-70 disc games on PS3 with many many more digital games, 50ish on Xbox360 and around same on Nintendo Switch. Everytime I tend to gravitate towards games that don't have a story, currently can't put down Elite Dangerous and also running No Man's Sky on Nintendo Switch. So these games either be very large in scale or you make your own story. Most of the time these games are time consuming. I go through periods where ill reinstall older games with the intention to complete them. I started one of the first MoH PC releases but haven't touched it in weeks now. Just pretty much uninstalled everything again this morning. If only I could be bothered to dedicate at least 1 hour each day to a different game, and only install one story based game at a time along side my main games, I might actually finish them. I just find the pull towards my main games too much.

  16. Unfortunately the BDO which Walton, Adams, Hankey and OG Barneveld were part of is the equivalent of non-league football. The organisation (which I believe is now disbanded) was relentlessly stuck in the 1970's and failed to adapt to growth opportunities in the decades that preceded it. Tournaments were limited to one major a year and earning potential was non-existent unless you were top class. Most darts players had day jobs such as plumbers, builders and being postmen. The Lakeside was a iconic venue but one annual tournament was never going to help bolster the sport. The PDC came in and offered players the chance of competing in several highly established tournaments each year, full time leagues and other competitions where prize money was significant. It allowed players like Mervyn King to go full time despite not being exceptional and he was making more than a in one week with them than what he would've got winning the World Title with the BDO. The PDC has also earned major sponsorship's and TV rights as well as forming global bodies. There's World Cup, European Championships and even Women's darts has florished massively plus regular Premier League darts and other smaller events. There's also only been one televised 9 darter with the BDO whereas the quality the PDC offers is insane in comparison and this is what happens when you grow the sport and allow its competitors to do it for a living. I will never understand why the BDO kept darts in the stone age - a lack of foresight and ambition from the ageing and clueless board I bet but the PDC really delivered the game into a premium setting.

  17. Is it sad that I remember watching some of this final?? 😅 Fair play to the guy, not all sports people get to live the rest of their days out on what they won. Even then, he says he doesn't need money but just enjoys the company which I love to see stuff like that. Shock headline yet again not so much when you realise the guy is just an all round decent guy doing what he enjoys.

  18. Hard agree @Spacedeck. I think its a really hard discipline to play games in a structured way, because games by design are that fun, escapism that we all love and probably the most spontaneous thing we do. Having said that, I have tried to be disciplined to play different games, and put up events so we have stuff to look forward to on multiple games, otherwise I notice that I end up not playing with many FGers and maybe not talking as much to them if we don't end up on the same game every day or week. I'm going to try and use the event calendar to help me play some multiplayer games and if no one turns up thats fine, i'll either still play it or push myself to play my single player backlog instead. I was also thinking maybe we can help each other on the backlog scene where we have a game we focus on each month perhaps where we all play it and share tips, stories, high scores and how we feel the game plays? That way it also feels like single player games aren't just on your own and gives you another reason to play so we can help others around here play their own backlog too. I'd be more inclined to play some of my games knowing I could help others....or get some much needed help from yourselves too! I forgot to add on my list the updated remasters of Resident Evil games....I need to see the updated scenes and story as 2 and 3 back in the day were some of my favourite memories as a kid.

    GT 7 PSVR2

I've been reading and watching a fair few things on the PSVR2 for this very reason. I love racing in VR on PC but it would be cool to have FG race nights in VR too. Though I know I wouldn't really play anything else in VR on the PS5 so it's a lot of dosh just for some GT7. There's also the issue of what does the game look like in the headset - obviously people recording the game record the game as it but the foveated rendering, lenses, screen door etc. all "degrade" the image you see vs the image recorded. I've come to the conclusion I need to try one before buying but nowhere I can find has a demo of the PSVR2 😞 So might just spend the money on a CSL DD upgrade instead 😄

    DMZ Season 2

Its nice when things work out like that. Yeah I've been through the area before its a nice area a lot of loot boxes could be very useful as a retool for a squad. I generally take stronghold keycards into most of my deployments now and use these to level up. I like the small ones with a handful of enemies less chance of decent loot but also a much lower risk being solo I only need to take 1 vest and 1 backpack so don't really need the larger areas. I'll sometimes do the Airport if I spawn nearby but usually bounce once I find a 3 plate and large pack

    DMZ Season 2

I couldn't get it to work but the stars did align. I got two randoms doing the same exact mission who spawned in with the camera. We got it done in no time BTW going to that location is worth it as there is a lot of good gear in the caves. If you are cautious you can clear solo without too much trouble. Just be prepared for the 2-3 shield guys. It's a good place to get vest/backpacks/Kill streaks
