Just had two more childhood gems arrive in the post. I'm so disappointed these games disappeared and I had to repurchase them but I'm glad I've finally got them back. Planning to have a retro games night with @Loz Mars as well at some point which should be fun!

Yup, I am not really surprised and not sure why there has been such an uproar on the internet. They were put in place to entice people to next gen while content was still being produced. It has definately fulfilled its purpose by now, anyone choosing to get a ps5 going forwards will not be doing so for these games.

Jesus, what an absolute dumpsterfire of a situation! Streamer Atroic accidentally exposes himself live on stream paying for a membership of a site that specalises in deepfakes of fellow streamers and celebrities. Not only that, the victims are known to him personally including his best friend's girlfriend. Awkward AF. None of the victims were aware of this site and it has since ceased business. Atroic has since issued a rather cringeworthy apology on stream with his wife but the circumstances of how he ended up doing this aren't easy to believe especially with sites like Prawnhub not endorsing such material at all and this would further stretch to adverts. Seems he made a conscious decision to source and pay for such content. It definitely wouldn't be such a damning situation if it didn't involve his close friends behind his wife's back. Twitch streamer Atrioc gives tearful apology after paying for deepfakes of female streamers - Dexerto WWW.DEXERTO.COM Atrioc broke down in tears as he issued an apology for looking at deepfake content of female streamers including Pokimane and MayaHiga. It's quite scary how some of these deepfakes have advanced not just for this purpose plus there are also literally voice-perfect replication software. Combine the two and it can be a very dangerous thing. But in terms of Atroic, what a naughty boy!

Meh. If we all apologised for dodgy sites we visited we'd all be spending the rest of lives apologising to everyone else. The pros, cons, technical skill, requirements, ability or morality and legality of deep fakes are all interesting discussion points but what sites some random person has visited? I struggle to care less. Obvious that's caveated that the sites someone visits are legal.

Oh man I would love that, unfortunately I don't own a PC. I'm really looking forward to playing it on my Playstation 2 though! Can't beat a good Lego game 🤘

At this point they may as well just say they don't give a crap about 6v6 multiplayer. Guess they will be working full speed on selling crap to fools. As far as a "new" map goes I really aren't expecting much hopefully it will be "fun". I look forward to people still defending Infinity Ward.

So if they are intending to release Museum and brand it a 'new' map as widely rumoured, this means there will be one 'new' map. It's apparently not Castle either. Warzone 2 meanwhile is getting an absolute boatload of content and improvements plus an entire new (small) map which looks half decent - not sure if it will be incorporated into DMZ though. I agree with your second point - but I do think @Luseth has a point in terms of at least understanding why its happened. They didn't have to and when you remove anything from someone then you usually always get negative media. I think I looked at it as its 20 games initially offered (and still offered to everyone to stick in your library before May so you keep them), most of which were felt like they were owned by a large majority of PS players already. I remember looking at the initial setup costs for each package and it always looked as an additional extra to entice new people to just get a PS plus subscription which feels a given if you're ever going to own a console these days and never a dealbreaker whether or not I took out the basic package. I look at it as one of those where it feels like a 'meh, thats abit shitty isn't it', whereas the other point you put up here deserves the news but thats derailing the thread somewhat 😅

Removing a benefit from gamers is a serious faux pas 😅 Meanwhile this week our government are restricting our rights to strike and rights to protest, rights that people gave their lives for, when we probably need them the most, and no-one blinks an eye 🙈

It definitely wouldn't have blown up had it not been for the fact it was literally his close colleagues, best friend's girlfriend and the fact he actually registered and paid for the material and being married. The painful excuse did not help either. I do think some of the victims are milking it to a degree but I can't speak for how they feel about the situation. If the guy was simply looking at deepfakes of celebs and got caught then it would be embarrassing but forgotten about the next day. He should've just come clean and could've even bit back a bit cos half the people on the list literally get their boobs out to minors on stream and are an inch away from having an OnlyFans on the side as it is.

Sony has sent out emails to PS Plus users and have informed them that they will be bringing an end to the PS Plus collection May 9th. If you haven't claimed any of the games, I suggest you do so now, and they'll be a part of your game library as long as you have a PS Plus account. Fucking Sony. I'm honestly surprised they didn't do this when they implemented the PS+ tiers.

Weirdly, I'd take an extra PS Plus Monthly game that's more upto date than most of them on that list. Doubt they will, but we don't know yet if they will do something else in its place come May.

PS+ Collection was a great entry incentive especially considering how convoluted and poor value PS+ has proved to be and it should remain or there be a base-level updated alternative. There are some brilliant games here especially to fill any voids but I'm guessing Sony don't want to pay up any more and some of these game services are somewhat dead in the water now and wouldn't be a viable showcase to Sony's current online services. Anyone that ain't got it yet, I'd grab them all ASAP because there's still a good amount of value here and offline content. Was in Rohan Oil and another team showed up and decided to be friendly. We became a team of 6 and went into the restricted area. Made easy work of the AI and got some good valuable loot Had lots of cash on us so we became targeted in the hunt squad contracts. 3 guys show up trying to kill us for the contract. Had no Idea there were 6 of us. We wiped them. Took their stuff. Decided to exfil. Got a couple of LTVs from different buy stations and machine gunning anything in sight. Again Hunt squad. Trio shows up. Gets wipe and kids start screaming about 6 vs 3 how did we do that. That isn't fair. Total rage. So I went over, stole his stuff. tea bag him and told him that attacking 2 LTVs with machine guns and 6 guys is a real dumb thing to do if you want to live. Exfil is now too far, we see a rescue hostage contract so we decide to do that. Storm the house as a team of 6 with top end gear a that point. Rescue the hostage exfil. Super fun when teams team up. 2nd place. the other team a dumbass team mate decide to run off. Gets himself killed by a squad. He had no mike so I have no idea. I run over to revive him. I see the trio is standing over him in a corner looting his stuff. I lob two molotovs their way and they get burned to a crisp. So we took their stuff and left. I love wiping squads that attack unprovoked

The way they speak or communicate is atrocious. I'd like to give them the benefit of doubt but at this stage yeah it's just watching with a bag of popcorn.

The deep fake porn thing is almost a form of nonce behaviour in my book.

10 minute 'gameplay' coming today apparently after another bizarre u-turn. Will probably be another scripted video with more bought assets from Unreal but it'll be interesting to see what they've concocted. So much for the trademark dispute too! Even if this is somehow genuine gameplay irrespective of quality, the way the developers have handled this entire charade has been the worst I have ever seen in entertainment media history.

I went to see An Inspector Calls before my GCSEs, the Inspector was played by Tom Baker. It's a sad play but we all started laughing when he appeared. Quality Dr Who, though slightly before my time. Nice find @Macca89

Gamewise and costwise, its actually a really good month for PS Plus games. Evil Dead i'm looking forward to as its been a great co-op game i've dipped in and watched a few times when other people play it. Mafia is a classic remake and worth having in the collection. Destiny 2's Beyond Light Campaign and additional quests are a sizeable addition to someone who wants to give it a go but needs more than the free stuff to play it (plus the BEST raid in the game imo 😄). No idea about Olli Olli World...but its free now 😄

I can't wait to come round and play this buddy! Those images for the backgrounds 😍 I agree with what you've said, the later games just ddidn't quite do it for me as there were too many things to tinker with.
