After a few games I’m finding it incredibly frustrating because all my lobbies are with foreign players and I’m shooting first and dying first. I put no end of shots into people and they don’t die, yet I get melted instantly before people are on my screen. I can only hope it’s just due to time of day and not many UK people playing. It’s almost impossible for me to get into double digit kills because of this

As was I @Bubblybrooko The first Genesis/mega drive game I ever played was Altered Beast. Golden Axe followed that up.

Agreed, I was always a SNES and NES focussed dude, less on the Sega side (did love Golden Axe though!) Seems too much when comparing what your getting to current consoles

This one just released this past Thursday, and it's a really fun "shoot to the beat" FPS to the sounds of a kick ass metal/rock soundtrack that progressively gets fuller as your score multiplier increases. It has a doom-ish setting where you played as a recently freed demon that was imprisoned by the devil. Troy Baker, voice of Joel from TLoU as well as many other games, provides narration over game while you fire away. There are some rouge-lite elements, where you unlock weapons via progress throughout the game, but as to the variety of said weapons, I'm not to sure yet as I've only reached the second area of the game. Gameplay is really fast and fluid, especially on PS5 in resolution mode. I'd imagine the same would be said for a top end PC and series X. I'll be getting into it a bit more over the weekend, but this has been one that @Rumelylady and myself have been looking forward to for quite some time.

Its all good now @Greboth, we worked it out last night that it just gets you both versions of the came (PS4 and PS5) mainly for people that have PS4 now but soon to have a PS5 and want to save money with the upgraded game (although Activision shouldn't be charging for the upgrade imo like others haven't). Hi James @anticonscience , I don't think i'll be on tonight as I haven't pre-ordered and then need to download the beta although i'm keen on trying Sunday hopefully on the Open Beta. I suspect most of us will get this one though given our playtime on MW2019 over the past few months. Looking forward to what people see!

Thats a great intro @Bubblybrooko !! Its been great to get to you know you abit more and I enjoyed our first raid together the other day too. I've tried to get into Fallout but I really struggle with that world, maybe because its a whole world of grinding i know i'd lose myself in! Have you played Fallout 76 much? Was thinking about back to that and creating some form of server if it felt like it had longevity in it. It’s cross play when it comes to multiplayer so different generations can play against each other. I’ve not been able to find details on if you can play together if cross gen. I’d assume we will be able to but probably through Activision ID’s rather than PSN’s.

Can someone tell me if this is cross-gen at all? Do we have to get the PS4 version to play with everyone or does it matter if its the PS5 version or not? I'd like to get a bunch of us playing it this weekend but a little annoyed that Open Beta starts Sunday rather than Friday.

I never Pre-ordererd, but most likely will get it. There never seems to be a shortage of copies for COD games even on release day.

But if you don't pre-order then it's 5 button presses less that you have to do 😉

Yeah cause those 5 button presses to cancel an Amazon order are so arduous. I'll still cancel it if it's shit but it costs me literally nothing to get a couple extra days with the beta so why wouldn't I?

Fuck pre-ordering. Especially for COD. I'll play the beta first and then decide if I'll get it.

I'll probably play the beta on Steam and dust off the PS5 and try it on there too. No way am I preordering though.
