It's not even a discussion, vinyl and analogue piss all over digital music 🙂 I do use Spotify and they are supposed to be upping the quality of the streams at some point but they'll never be able to sound as good. I have a record player, an old Kenwood amp and a few hundred vinyl records still, so will occasionally annoy the neighbours with the superior sound 😁

My best mates dad used to have an amp and big Wharfdale speakers. We used to raid his Lp collection and listen to all sorts of excellent music. Everything from Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Bowie, Bob Marley, The Clash, Aerosmith, Van Halen and hundreds more. We were about 10 or 11 and all the other kids in School were listening to Spice Girls, Peter Andre and Now that's what I call music cassettes. Looking back it's me and my mates introduction to decent music and we will always be thankful for that. 😎

One of the first albums I bought. Got it from my mum’s mail order catalogue when I was 15. I remember vinyl records, those were the days, warped if you weren’t careful, lovely analogue sound, bloody digital “streaming”, mumble, mutter, mumble....

So with the draft coming up this week it's time to start looking forward to the new NFL season. There have been quite a few trades gone on already so far this preseason, especially with some nig QB moves. Seeing Matt Ryan leave the Falcons for the Colts was not something I was expecting, but hopefully this means they are starting to rebuild the team. I was surprised to see Tyreek Hill leave for Miami too given the success he was having with Mahomes in Kansas City. In case anyone missed them, the main trades so far have been: Devante Parker - Dolphins to Patriots Tyreek Hill - Chiefs to Miami Matt Ryan - Falcons to Colts Deshaun Watson - Texans to Browns Devante Adams - Packers to Raiders Khalil Mack - Browns to Chargers Amari Cooper - Cowboys to Browns Carson Wentz - Colts to Washington Russell Wilson - Seahawks to Broncos It will be very interesting to see how these trades affect each team, and the AFC West is looking like the strongest QB wise now with Mahomes, Carr, Herbert and Wilson all in the same division. A repeat of last year, Jacksonville have the first pick of the draft, so it will be interesting to see whether they go offensive again this year to add to Lawrence, who I think could have a pretty decent second season after picking up a bit at the end of last season. Atlanta have the 8th pick and i'm hoping that they do something to add to the offense as Pitts and Patterson both have the potential to have great seasons, and I really hope Mariota can prive to be worthy of stepping into Matt Ryans shoes and be a reliable QB. Yeah man, I didn't discover music until I was about 14 and found out there was a whole world of music to explore, thanks mostly to a mate at school. Such pleasure, music is one of the best things human beings do. Even the shit music I hate😅

How you getting on with it @phil bottle? My preorder shouldn't be far off. Can it run DayZ and stuff like that or is that a bridge too far? Ideally I was going for both a new PC and the steam deck, but it's going to have to be one or the other.

And on that note, I've completed the Present day Chapter. This was a fun one. You don't gain levels in the conventional way. The chapter reminded me of a fighting game, where you select the boss you want to fight. Once in battle, each opponent has certain moves that your character can learn once the boss uses them on you. Sometimes, you have to bait the boss to do them by using certain moves at specific spots on the battlefield. Once learned, the moves are added to your arsenal and you can proceed to fuck up the boss. One piece of advise, you can only heal by using the move "Focus" so make sure you move away and heal up when needed as your HP does not increase at all during the chapter. Really awesome chapter. Even some of the music reminded me of something I heard in Street Fighter 2. Next up, the Near Future Chapter.

Now that the NFL preseason has started, there has been announcement that ITV have bought the coverage rights for the next 3 years. Thankfully they are taking Osi and Jason Bell as I always enjoy their takes on the weeks games and how the season is going. The Falcons beat the Lions in their first preseason game, which was nice to see but I dont think we will have a great season, hopefully I will be proven wrong though, stranger things have happened lol. Is everyone else looking forward to the start of another great NFL season 😁😁

So the 1st round of the draft is complete and there are some great picks. Personally i'm happy with the Falcons drafting a new WR in Drake London since hes a big guy and could do well on offense with Kyle Pitts. I was surprised that the Jags drafted a defensive player, i thought they would have looked to strengthen their O-Line to give Lawrence more protection. The Jets had a good first round, grtting 3 pretty solid picks. Aiden Hutchinson, who many favoured to be the #1 pick, ended up at the Lions where he could potentially make a decent impact. What are others thoughts on the draft so far?

I think they're being advertised for people who buy them now as Q2 2022, which is the same as me, although I reserved mine the day it first went on sale...so who knows😁

I tried Steam Deck early and it's AWESOME! this is ltt's first hand's on experience it seems great and you can connect to it a monitor/kb/m and close to 60 fps on doom eternal medium and it's not completely done yet
