OK let’s get 32 squads of 53 men and associated coaches to rig the games and not tell anyone... that’s pretty unlikely..maybe a single bad coach calling stupid plays now and again but the whole league rigged? That’s a fantasy

Was pretty disappointed to see this on the PS4 before and I can agree with sentiments about losing steam for the game at this point. Hype plays a huge part in games and if it isn't there, it's very easy to just pick up another title. I never touched the game again but got a copy for Xbox as part of my purchase for the Series X and I'm just happy the game is in a playable state, but that's because I never played nor touched the game in any form since purchase. I can imagine it must have been frustrating for people who tried to give CDPR the benefit of the doubt and still played the game in its unfinished state. I was also particularly weirded out that they had to do the next gen remake for Witcher 3 when they were still doing it for this one, I mean, sure, they reached their target date of 2022 Q1 but this could have been easier if they had more focus on CP2077. Still, I'll happily take patch 1.5 and I can't wait to finally play this on the weekend. 🙂

I have never seen so many patch notes for a game post-release yet for all the fixes and improvements they've made, it's barely noticeable in-game and if anything, the downgrades/sacrifices have taken away from what was an already hollow experience and those are significantly noticeable. In all fairness, they never said they were going to produce what they originally promised/lied about and were just focused on fixing issues and improving what was there but it still leaves a really bad taste. I don't think this game is outright bad but just very disappointing and the way it was marketed was the most dishonest thing I have ever seen all the way up until release. It's painful to hear them talk about features that have been in games and done better since 2004. Hopefully this will be a stepping stone for them to do what they originally promoted but for me, it's too late and the time wasted on this is just taking away from future titles they have planned.

Patch 1.5 has just dropped for all versions, plus the first one for PS5. I had a quick go on the PS5 version before D&D last night. Compared to the previous PS4 version, it is a massive improvement I'm terms of movement and combat. Much more fluid. Driving is still poor though. On the PC version, I have 80 hours played, solely on the strength of the story, and I'll try that today at some point. It's never going to be the game they promised but for £20 it's worth a go on next gen or PC.

basically what I was thinking after the raid marathon last night is... would you guys want the normal raid that have been going on depending on peoples need and then we do the raid marathon weekly? or would it be better for everyone that we do the raid marathons on a less regular basis?

This is my best run so far - only hopped on for 5 minutes just to try and get the Runetracer leveled up to 7 for the achievement and instead ended up sweating it in the library🤣 Only level 66 but it really got out of control very quickly. The shield and evolved axe really made a difference.

For £20? Absolutely. Its just like a No Mans Sky scenario whereas we knew the game would get supported the longer it has been out. Its a huge deep game so i'm not enjoying the overall pace of it, but if you enjoy Single Player games that you can sink a few hours into it for a few days it should be worth it now.

Basically the lack of a squad, like yourself 😅 I don't have many nights free to play it solidly with the other games we're playing atm, but i'm happy to do what we did with MW last week and stick up a few ad-hoc nights for it. Really enjoyed getting back into a PvP shooter last week.

I watched about an hour of next gen gameplay last night and I just cannot get over how barren the city is now with a huge lack of cars and pedestrians compared to release even on the new consoles. It's not quite as bad as 1.4 on the old gen where you'd be lucky to see more than 3 cars and 5 people at any given time but it feels like a very bland environment in what is already a city lacking dynamics. A lot of textures have also been downscaled which is really noticeable. I haven't played since the launch on PC but I have followed each big update and it's like they keep chopping away at things that add to the immersion and it really hurts the output. The game does appear cleaner though and all those small fixes have given it a more polished experience but there is still NPC's colliding, cars on rails and the UI is still pretty ghastly. I didn't get to see much in terms of the AI and if there were any improvements there but a lot of work was needed in this regard rather than just planting a few enemies sporadically through the map who respawn every day. I'll definitely keep my eye on this but I can't see myself ever venturing back.

Yeah... I would probably give the poster a pass too. But steel case or art book, count me in though £200 is pretty heavy! I'm always a sucker for art books included in special editions. Wish we had these editions, at the very least, the one you first showed. I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise that my pre-order has at least those art cards but whatever happens, I'm happy just to get the physical. Just 2 weeks more!!!

Promising ARPG MMO releasing early next year. Well worth keeping an eye on

The sidequest text is getting very reparative. "The refugees need food," "we're low on supplies," "go destroy the marauders barrels of water," etc but the combat is satisfying visually. You can only have eight attacks active at a time, so if you are so inclined it allows for some fun experimentation. There's lots of little side things to chase after to make levels last longer as each area isn't really the largest and there aren't that many quests in each area. It's always a surprise when you get some quests like "help villagers find their lost luggage" and rather than having to find 3 - 5 items in the area you just find one; usually within a few steps of the quest giver. I feel like I'm moving through content pretty quickly, so it'll be interesting to see what there is for endgame content and what player retention will be like in a few months.

Also to clarify it is still "broken" but is considerably better since launch , i am not going to nitpick shite about smaller issues 😂

It is 100000% better since launch. It still looks like minecraft from time to time mostly when I join a game first but the hit reg is much better as is spread . Its mad amounts of Fun . I can't wait for whenever i can get a PS5

I think it's just the posted folded up sadly! Bit misleading but doesn't really matter too much. No steel case either it seems - just a card sleeve that goes over the standard box and the other extras. Not a bad package at all really. The collectors edition does have the steel case though but that's around the £200 mark. Art book looks great!

Actually wonder if there’s any interest in pushing to get people the raid seals if they are missing. Would need some good people to help out but things like the GoS seal are possible? Mainly saying this cos I haven’t got it !

Might be a great idea to hold off on it. I held off on the original.. just as its one and only DLC was coming out. I was super glad I integrated the DLC story into my first playthrough. However, since this is the game for me for 2022, I will not be waiting. I might be holding off on Elden Ring. Haven't decided.
