I've buckled and bought the game with some Steam funds gifted for my birthday - only really bought it because otherwise I'd probably not play anything new until Elden Ring arrives and that's 3 months away. Basically just gonna go in with the mentality that this is the worst Battlefield ever and a mediocre game at best. I wont be disappointed that way and at least things can only get better. Angry Joe's video was absolutely telling and hits hard with no shill bullshit. Some fantastic points and issues highlighted.

The thing about this game is that I said I wanted it to be like a next gen version of BF4. Seems D.I.C.E misunderstood me and they thought I meant BF4 at launch 🤷‍♂️

I'm still really looking forward to getting on it tomorrow and I have no doubt I will have a blast. I mean, even if its unplayable I'll be jumping on one of the other 50 games I currently have installed 😅

I was 19... There is a lot more dirt on this guy apparently - much more recent and horrendous than this. No excuse for racism in any sport but it is sickening when all these disgusting clowns try and seek sympathy for the very thing they’ve done themselves and worse. Hypocrisy just discredits and puts things like this back to square one. Sports like cricket and rugby are plagued with some terrible things happening from all nationalities, races and ages. Sadly the bodies behind them are more hell-bent on protecting their respective sports and there is just too much money involved too. If all the big sports were investigated and people came forward for things that happened in the last 20 years, there would be some shocking disclosures. Nothing will really change though and I'd go as far to say that the people involved in these sports now are probably worse than what they were back then - it's only their false online social media image that makes them look good.

Angry Joe's video was excellent, don't think I've enjoyed one of his rants as much. As @MrBiron I was hoping for an updated BF4. This is so far from that id have thought it was made by a different studio, don't know why as time goes on people become more incompetent. Did have a laugh at this.

I missed it but these moments just remind us why the FA Cup is the best cup in the world.

The funny thing about the hovercraft is that it straight away reminds me of BF3. The MAV in that had to be nerfed as people discovered it could he used as a hover board 😁

Only did the tutorial and a couple of bot games on Steam. There's no Nvidia update for it yet but it ran smooth as butter for me. A mix of high and medium settings and I get around 90 fps. Nice🙂

There's going to be an update to the patch this week with more things to be added, plus volumetric clouds.

I played an hour or so of the Network Test and it definitely is the real deal. Considering they made Bloodborne, its not surprising where most of the stuff has come from in the game, but they've added that 'world' feel to it rather than a small and, in some places, linear feel that Bloodborne has. I can see it being super frustrating, annoying, head bangingly crucifying due to the type of game it is - but it already feels like its way worth the money for a full AAA PS5 game. I think a basic tutorial on how the game works with controls would help when its released but let's face it, if you don't touch games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne then I guess you won't touch this. I'm not sure how much story will come clear as thats the only part i'd say doesn't feel to make much sense at all. However, that kind of pushes you forward to explore places, like caves and take on mystical enemies lurking on the World Map to see if it gives you any more insight into the world you've been dropped in. Character choice too is way more than I expected too. I think after the game comes out, I think they'll be in depth guides on how each build works with different playstyles. I picked the Magic Knight one which means you have a Health and Magic bar to work with, similar to what Final Fantasy was like. Looks to be a really interesting multiplayer mechanic too and i'm hoping that means you can summon quite a large group of people to help defeat large swarms of enemies. Let's just hope it makes it easier to understand than Bloodborne's version of co-operatively play! All in all, if this isn't on your 2022 list, then have a word with yourself. And if you don't know much about how this will play through? Then plenty of time to go and buy Bloodborne right now - its only £13.50 on Amazon.
