Yeah it was the case of they did enough to stay in the game to give them the chance at penalties. Not trying to think of that final though as it really is all about tonight! Kasper was right tbh, it was such a shit question asked to him. I think this squad want to prove that them as individuals are good enough. Southgate even came out yesterday and triued to help the media get facts right - we haven't got a rich history in success apart from 1 World Cup and a few semi-finals - and the fact that he has achieved 50% of those semi final results should give us the confidence to get behind him, whatever tactics he puts out there. Spain are a wonderful team on the ball but toothless in front of goal. Great goal by Chiesa. Italy haven't lost a match under Mancini in two years. Big game first, Denmark versus England and Kasper saying its never been home might help provide some extra motivation for the lads 🙂

Italy got absolutely outplayed last night but still progressed to the final! Spain really stepped it up and looked almost 2012-like with a vintage performance but they couldn't find that second goal after doing very well to get back into the game. Morata went from hero to villain and everyone pretty much knew he was gonna miss the penalty! Italy certainly aren't as strong or dominant that many feared but they still look incredibly hard to break down. Whoever gets through to the final must score first really.

I've heard good stuff about this game - it's basically like Rainbow 6, SWAT with an Arma feel plus it has co-op and PVP. It's currently in early access but the developers are making good progress apparently and so far it's been very smooth sailing. Ha, thanks. Random stories now will either be from the past or standard office drone stories, most likely. At least until/if I switch back to Homicide/Robbery. The official email went out department wide about 6pm today and I got a lot of calls, texts, and MDT messages. I said goodbye to half the shift (half are going on days off and I'll be gone before they return). I'm on standby to report to my new assignment, so I had the option of burning time off or working district as...an appendix, really. Useless and can be removed at any time. 😄 I'm saving my time off and being an appendix. What's been really nice is how many people have expressed an interest in working under me. A lot of my junior officers were ready to switch districts to follow me, something I also did once to follow a sergeant, so that was kind of heartwarming. One in particular I'll take in a heartbeat if I can get her. She started out at DCS as a civilian child death investigator, she'll be a great sworn detective. While I'm excited for this new chapter, it's really hard to take off the chevrons. I'm going to miss being "Sarge".

I hate the "It's coming home" song, drives me up the wall...but I've always taken it as a hopeful 'coming home to the place that invented the game and exported it to the world' type thing rather than anything arrogant about it. New Order FTW always anyway🙂

The PS5 interface ins't much better either. It's probably not too bad for Sony standards considering how clunky, outdated and unresponsive the PS4 one was but it's nuts how companies like this cannot get it right.

I'm not that thrilled about this. If the original developers were still around, I'd be more interested. You just know that EA just wants a cash in on another franchise that was good a couple gens ago. Much like the ME collection, I've done it before and i'm not really interested in seeing it again without visceral games at the helm.

Gameplay wise this patch mostly fixes AI issues, as we tried to make monsters slightly more aggressive and attack your buildings etc. When they are not able to attack you.
