I've played an hour or two so far, think you've summed it up perfectly. The game feels like how you expected a PS5 game to feel. Subtle haptic feedback, runs really smooth, audio is fantastic. Wouldn't classify it as a 'horror' per say, more just a couple of unsettling moments. There's a lot of loot initially, different in game currencies etc. There's a fair bit of information to take in as to what does what, but I'm sure I'll figure it out as I play more. Really enjoyed what I've played so far though!

Early impressions... housemarque has done it again. This game is really friggin good. Controls are crisp and fluid. Visuals and audio are top notch. Gameplay is tight. If you’re a fan of rouge lites such as hades then you’ll dig this one. You will die a lot. My only gripe and it’s really not a game breaker in any way, is there can be a LOT going on at any given time. Due to the third person perspective, you tend to get ambushed and surrounded quickly. Most of housemarques games have had an arcadey bullethell kind of vibe and it seems they tried to add a bit of that to this. It doesn’t really blend well but like I said, minor gripe. This is truly a next gen experience. The dual sense integration is really nice to. And example is you feel the rain drops hitting your suit through the controller. 🤘🏻

4/30/2021 Workout Deadlifts 7 Sets of 5 Reps (3 sets at 185lbs, 3 sets at 195lbs, 1 set at 205lbs) Thoughts: Hah. I made my 5AM class today. Nothing complicated today. Just a nice weightlifting set. Honestly, I wasn't even going to try to break 200lbs today. But, Coach James kept asking me when I was going to stop warming up, so I kept adding weights until I was like "185lbs? When did that happen?" Coach James responded with, "And, you were going to stop at 145lbs. Those days are over for you." Good sets. My hands hurt. Tomorrow's Squat Clean workshop is going to hurt again.. which means MMA on Sunday is going to hurt again lol. But, I'm glad my deadlift numbers are getting back to what I used to do. Calculator says that based on my 205lbs, my 1 rep should be 230lbs... I probably should work on it a bit to get back to my old PR of 260lbs.

I read that MW2R MP has been finished since 2018. If COD 2021 is in such a bad state then releasing MW2 would make the most sense.

I grabbed the game for £9 on CDKeys and have just finished it in 5 hours 20 minutes. It's definitely very watered-down compared to RE2 and even things from the original have been omitted but I did still had a lot of fun. The horror aspect takes more of a backseat and the action comes thick and fast plus you aren't bogged down by too many traditional puzzles. I did like the pacing overall and the combat was fairly enjoyable. The locations are very linear though - typically in RE games, areas branch out and you can unlock doors to find shortcuts which makes backtracking easier but here, the areas were fairly simple and there were lots of blocked off places and inaccessible doors. Not a huge issue as everything seemed very focused and you didn't have to worry about running backwards or around the same location(s) They definitely could've done more especially as this is a mainline standalone game and I wouldn't dream of paying full price for it - £12-20 is fair for a one-time playthrough. Not interested in any extras or doing a new run. I enjoyed the story and characters too and definitely glad I got round to playing it although it's nowhere near as good as RE2 remake.

More RE3

I remember all the leaks back in 2018 that said Modern Warfare 2 was being remastered and the campaign was completed. The rumours dried up for a couple of years and then the game came out of nowhere. The big thing was that the leaked pre-release trailer stated it was produced in 2018 which proved that the rumours a couple of years previous were 100% correct and didn't stem out of nowhere with people just looking for clicks. I firmly believe the game is 100% finished and Activision are merely looking for an appropriate window to slot it in where it doesn't detract from CW or Warzone

It's no secret that when I buy something, I research the hell out of it and get a product and/or brand that aligns as close as possible to my ethos and to the quality I want... and price... price is a factor. When @TurboR56Mini and I were renovating the game room, we knew what our setup was sort of going to look like. Once COVID quarantine hit, getting various pieces in place became a bigger priority. I didn't want an ugly ass computer chair... and those IG/home magazine photo worthy chairs are really just dining chairs and don't work for what we need. I didn't want to spend $1500 on a Herman Miller chair either. So, we landed on SecretLab. Fantastic quality. Not a "one size fits all". Smaller company. Now, they announced their computer desk! Such thoughtful features especially for cable management. If I sound excited and super plug-y... it's because I'm super excited about the design features even though we will not be buying one (our custom walnut table/desk was designed to fit perfectly in the room, and we see no point in swapping it out). I love trail running as long as I wear the correct footwear but I only own 3 pairs of running shoes but last year I ran this event and to date is the hardest trail I've run. Not sure what happened to the map as it's a garmin issue as I get the same on the garmin connect app.

Tonight my running club started back up and it's been a long 7 months since we were last able to run. I was going to take it easy tonight as on Saturday I did a 10k run so a cancer charity with my father inlaw and wife (we raised £400)and yesterday I ran 11.5k but as I was running tonight's club with my wife and father inlaw I said to my wife am I ok to run on ahead either answer I was going to but for the first 2k I struggled as you will see it in my splits in the picture but the last 3k I found a fairly decent pace. I haven't done a fast 5k for 7 months as most of my runs are with my wife but 25.02 for 5k is a decent time and way above average for my age.

So, as for the "reactivation" of the Yahoo email @GazzaGarratt, its a no Bueno. I called Yahoo (they are a major company that actually has a phone number for support services) and there is no way to reactivate the account. You just have to make a new one. The screen @RenFengge found (I dont have access the email for my activision account) link, doesn't work. I don't think they have updated it or something. Activision has an address in Santa Monica CA so since I live in CA I may just make the 2 hour drive (give or take with traffic) and pay them an office visit.
