It has been a really amazing few months for me, having a regular raid crew. Been such fun with some hilarious moments. @GazzaGarratt and @RenFengge you two have been so important in getting us to this point with the time you put in to making sure we have six even if you aren't around. I think DSC is such a relatively stress free raid that it is a great raid to do, and we would welcome any of the clan to come do it - even if its just once to try it out. Of course me and Charlie have got one eye on the return of Vault of Glass, and running it with a FG crew day 1. No idea how much it will have changed from D1 and I'm actually hoping that it has been changed around a bit so its a new challenge but still clearly still VoG. Personally I still find loads to do in Destiny - going for guilded Conqueror and the prospect of teaming up with people to get Harbinger, and I agree maybe we need a night were we do nightmare hunts or GMs. Just to give everyone a chance to try stuff out. Happy to try and schedule something. Want to keep running DSC so the regular gang all get Descendant but also get new people through it - we've not had any issues in getting people through DSC at all, so all lurkers welcome! And come the new season DSC is easily the best way to grab 4 pinnacle gear drops inside an hour, so its got plenty of life in it yet!

I also love that from a country that started a global empire over tea, who make fun of countries who "make houses out of wood", can't muster up enough effort to source, grind and brew good coffee. Hi pot, my name is kettle...

Coffee in the morning and never after mid day because it sticks around in your system for quite a long time. I hate drinking water on its own so I always have juice with it. Tea can fuck off.

You don't need a teapot every time to make one you know! Just stick a teabag in a mug and wait for it to stew. I mean, its the same as coffee as you have to wait for it to cool down anyway 😄 Disgraceful. Right, I've had a quick play around and seen what I could work up with Owayo football kits as they can really customise kits further than the standard kits you can find at the most common places online. I've come up with a few designs and it would be cool to get all your thoughts on which ones you like...and maybe more ideas if you do think there is other things we can add! Option 1 Option 2 Option 3 Option 4 Option 5 We can also change the colours but i'm mainly seeing the only real change to be the collar colour from white to black imo. Black and red are our main colours with a dash of white so it would be cool to keep those as primary colours for the 'Home' kit. Yes, you're now thinking we could do Home and Away?! Of course, its up to us what we do if we all want it. If we get enough interest - and that doesn't have to be just the FIFA FG lot as this is a cool enough jersey for anyone to have, we can buy in a bulk load to significantly reduce the cost. It can go from £65 to around £30-35 per shirt if we def know what we want. Also, we may be able to add names and numbers with that too. Examples are below: Let us know what you think on your options and also thoughts below would be ace! I love Option 1 but also like 2 and 3 too. GGFGFC!

We don't have a day yet but I'm guessing May 14 or May 21. Dont know if this counts as a blind raid, but blind raids are a lot of fun, but can be a little frustrating. Took our FG team all evening to get past security in DSC, but what a feeling when we worked it out and beat it!

Plus, I mentally associate coffee drinkers with angry people 😂

I watched this going in with no expectations because I feel like anyone expecting the MK universe to be anything but wild is, interesting. Some thoughts: The fatalities were absolutely dope- video game level amazing. Lin Quey and Shirai Ryu rivalry opening up the movie was amazing, and I thought this movie was going to be S Tier. Bi-Han has always been a cunt, until the day he died and became Noon Saibot when resurrected. Hanso always had baggage issues but, hey, it's from being murdered- even to the point where Raiden said "If you kill the new Sub Zero, you will effectively fuck up the entire universe". Liu Kang was so uncomfortably unlikable it almost made me want to skip any parts he was involved or stop watching. He was like a 18 year old TikTok influencer doing the renegade, dude needs to chill with the stupid hand movements every minute he makes a sound. Sitting at dinner? Hand waving. Speaking to new fighters? Hand waving. They did Kung Lao dirty, and Tsang Tsung was also dope. Both great characters and actors for it. Kano's actor was single highhandedly one of the most enjoyable portrayals in all of the MK movies. The dude carried. I HATED how their "powers" manifested, like Jax's baby arms growing through the power of friendship. Sonya sucked, my god it's the worst they have ever made the character. Cole is also another reason the movie did as bad as it did, like, left a sour taste in my mouth. Not only is he a brand new, movie only character and now you know he will show up in future games but he just... sucks. Like a Disney character, oh and his golden t-shirt. Fight scenes were pretty dope, but honestly a lot of them were kind of rushed just to "get them over with." Then all of a sudden the tournament was gone. Overall the movie is enjoyable and has some really dope parts, but man Cole, Sonya and a few other things make me hate the movie.

My issue with tea bags is 1) paper taste. I can't stand it. 2) it's actually woven with some plastic as well. No thank you. 3) tea leaves don't expand as well in a bag. Also, has anyone here tried tea from TWG Tea? I have an assortment, and I'm enjoying them. They have so many different blends for Earl Grey too. I question whether all you Earl Grey haters just haven't had a properly brewed cup with a touch of milk! As for the rancid coffee cups, hahaha.. I'm going to guess a majority of those cups were filled with milk and coffee.. not just straight, black coffee! And.. hush you. Tea has infinitely more flavors and notes available than coffee ever will. There's only so many times you can use "chocolate" as a note in a beverage! Sometimes, I like my drink a bit fruity or having notes of rice krispies or some vanilla or orange... All notes that you have to really strive to taste in coffee. There's no effort in tasting them in tea. 😄

You know.. I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. But considering the previous MK movies, there was not really a bar for the new one to even hop over haha. Was it cheesy? Yeah, but it wasn't painful. It was enjoyable. I'm still a little all "I'm not sure how I feel about Sub-Zero being the villain, and Scorpion being the hero." If they open this up into a series, I hope they go into the story a bit... like there's a reason Hanzo immediately knew it was Bi-Han who just murdered his family aside from the ice everywhere. I would like to see them go into that. The fact that they wove into the movie individual fights was somewhat clever. I thought that was good on them to figure out how to do it. Agree that 90 minutes wasn't going to give anyone all the lore. This was a taste of what's possible. If they can get more funding and more audience and turn it into something worth while. But, that's always the trick with these things. Can you create a formula for a series to ensure that every installment after the first one is going to be great? Marvel has set the bar so high on that front... @TurboR56Mini and I laughed a bunch of times during the movie on some of the silliness... but still an enjoyable movie.

This is not how science works...caffeine is caffeine and 1:1 tea has more. The method does extract additional from the coffee bean and we use more coffee grind for a cup. If you used the same amount of tea as you would for a cup of coffee then it would give you more of a "buzz".

Tea in leaves in a pot, with a tea strainer, is the best tea. Tea bags have come a long way though so I'm not fussy. English breakfast, the blended variety, be it PG Tips, Yorkshire etc etc only. Earl Grey is poison. I worked in am RAF canteen on Saturdays when is was 14 and I'll never forget the smell of rancid coffee cups waiting to be washed. Tea don't stink at any stage...unless you are a ponce who likes to drink perfume. And back with coffee, if I wanted that kind of buzz, I'd just do a line of speed🤗

Tea is the Cigarette to the Cigar of coffee...less flavor and not quite as manly....

I genuinely drink about 4-5 litres of water a day, it's actually a problem but I genuinely love how refreshing it is. I love Tea and Coffee but it I was forced to choose I'd have to go with a good old fashioned shitty cup of tea! (In an FG Mug of course)

Played the final demo and I find it rather stupid that Capcom made these timed demos with a timer on top. Couldn't they have just made them one playthough per account? I felt like I was rushed the whole time and couldn't explore or appreciate what I was playing. The castle area is awesome and the visuals are truly mind-blowing but the combat really lacks punch and feels sloppy. I will definitely get this but probably not at release even with a great pre-order deal from Argos.

Hahaha... I feel like we need to introduce you to better coffee.. and to better Earl Grey. So, for me: water coffee tea (close second.. just easier for us to get great coffee than it is to get great tea)... and we do loose leaf tea with our own strainers... get that paper taste out of my tea!

Regarding D2, I would like to get some of shy lurkers out and into the fun. DSC is great because it's not crazy difficult, and even if there is someone who just plays solo all the time and isn't sure how they would fair in the raid, DSC is a great way for them to get their feet wet and hang out with others in our group. I would like to keep DSC going as a great intro into raids. Maybe if some others would like to take a stab at leading a team, that would be good too (not me. I just organize things, and you're lucky if I pay attention long enough to do things well). It's also been noticeable that I haven't spent much, if any, time in the D2 world this season. Just going through ebbs and flows. Have a few things I'm pre-occupied with. Maybe on the smaller team things, we may want to consider designating a weekly time and day for it. Like Nightfalls and GM Nightfalls. Sometimes, @TurboR56Mini and I would hop on and hope to do some harder Nightfalls, and no one would be around. We have a nice cadence for Raids, maybe we should add 1 night per week to run Nightfalls? Just thinking out loud. Not a huge fan of scheduling every event out, but having a dependable time to do something may help others just jump into playing group activities. because things like Gambit are really wretched when you try doing it on your own... and it's vastly different when you can communicate with your whole team. Same for Crucible... and especially Trials.

Right, its been a while in the FG Destiny clan thread so lets rev it back up again! I actually think lots has been happening and its been great to see so many of us be so active, especially in the Deep Stone Crypt raid. The DSC raid was probably the best thing to happen for us all since D1 as the raid is such a fun raid to complete and allows more of us to get used to how the mechanics work as it isn't the most complicated to learn either. Many thanks to La @RenFengge and Bob @Baabcat for setting lots of sessions and opportunity for us all to get some key objectives completed. Charlie @Venom coming more into the fold and helping out set up some goals and objective monitoring so we don't miss out on stuff has been amazeballs too. I really think this was a great time to get back into the game with out any FOMO or worry about grinding, since it is basically been completely watered down now. I think it would be ideal to start looking at the other raids now alongside keeping DSC runs going, as well as looking at a few other activities that Bob has noticed - especially GMs if people have had the time to rack up extra season levels which gives you extra power but also i'd like to see who wants/needs to look at Dungeons and the connected triumps, weapons, armour thats connected to all of these. Btw, i'm not expecting huge hours and this game only to be played by everyone. In fact, I think i only get a few times on it each week at max, especiallyas the season goes on and thats absolutely fine in my book. I'm definitely enjoying chilling in it more for the love of just doing a few bits and bobs as it keeps it fresh and lots of stuff to do. I'm gearing up for next season too, thats in a few weeks which i'm hoping i'll then get more time back on it, with more new stuff to play and also the reintroduction of Vault of Glass with its own updates. Looking forward to grabbing the Kabr Titan Armour again, one of the best sets in the whole game! If people have somethoughts on more stuff, sound off below and we can see what we can all do together. I know some of the new ones definitely could do with a helping hand 👍

Looking back just at how far we've come as its good to take stock at our first proper little tourney for fun....and we've managed an incredible 40 GAMES. Whilst we're not finished by any means, I think thats an amazing effort so far so thank you all for trying to get games done and have a laugh along the way - even if its just to laugh at me and my woes 😄 I'd love to ask how you all are finding it, what you like and not like so much because it may help what we think about doing about the rest of this tourney and other potential knockout tourneys for fun, as always. I think it would be helpful to get feedback from the ones also that either have played a couple or no games at all to help understand what might be stopping you from joining in? I know the games only last around 10-15 mins so I was hoping to see eveeryone at least try a few games but be honest! Its all okay if you think something is stopping you and we can amend stuff moving forward for future things. Great to see a difference of results too. I've learned a lot about FIFA over this and that was one of my objectives out of it, as we all help each other leanr and get better alongside having some fun. Sound off below guys! 👇

I hear you both, as EA do churn out the same game just with updated teams and drivers, similar to FIFA. However as i haven't played it for years and years i'm comfortable in buying at least one from new to see how it is...if i'm impatient I can see that F1 2020 is on sale right now on the PSN Store if I really wanted it. I think its not the same as playing GT Sport MP, as you say Phil. I think some won't get on with how the game flows and the speed of the cars. I just want to at some day have a fully fledged proper full race with full Qualifying. I did that way back on my last F1 game and i'd love to do it again if others want to join me. I think @Mikepjbell mentioned something about a co-op mode in game but not sure how that works?

Where to start.. @Kemp210 we ran out of land animals so we went for some delicious sea ones instead. We do "spring" and "fall" birthdays every year with @RenFengge (5/5 in case she forgets to tell you) and I being spring and our other friends being fall. This year for spring birthdays we chose to enjoy some omakase style sushi at a new place we found wandering around Greenwich a few weeks back. So we headed out, enjoyed some libations, and with any extremely expensive sushi dinner, we ended things at a local pub with some chips and a pint. Don't get me wrong, we 110% appreciated the flown in fish from Japan and New Zealand but we also "needed" some fried food and Guinness. Make sure to reveal the hidden bit to see all the yummy!
