Where in the world-pic thread
GazzaGarratt reacted to techno for a topic
As we can't really travel at the moment I thought I'd share some pictures of some of the places I've been over the last decade in the hopes that you guys would do the same, the one thing that has changed with covid is the lack of travel, true for others it's much worse so I get that a lot of us have been lucky so far. Pics from Norway, Australia and aushwitz and closer to home Scotland,Wales, IOM and Yorkshire. Hope the link works, it said something about not being able to embed https://www.flickr.com/gp/191699114@N02/k71n3F1 point -
GT Sport Your Favourite Tracks
Mikepjbell reacted to GazzaGarratt for a topic
I'm wanting to suggest more tracks each week with our regular GT Sport races slot gathering lots of interest of late. So I thought i'd open it up to everyone. For me, Sardegna and Willow Springs in Gr.4 cars can lead to seriously close times and very rewarding when you nail the laps. They're not super hard tracks to race on but there a small areas where you can work on each lap to get faster and better at the corners. They would absolutely lead to interesting races for sure. And yes, Blue Moon Speedway is basically nearly an oval but surprisingly made for interesting races (and yes I did win that one but thats not the point 😄). I think if any race like this can lead to exciting and close racing between more of us is definitely one to keep in mind. I'll keep an eye out for any reverse tracks or specifically ones which are better with a certain variation. Whats peoples thoughts as we start trying more tracks out?1 point -

RenFengge's 2021 Fitness PPR
GazzaGarratt reacted to RenFengge for a topic
I'm a little aimless and unmotivated today, but I still tried to get something in. My boxing coach cancelled late last night as he is sick. Since I do not want to chance that it would be COVID, I'm basically not seeing him for another 2 Saturdays. It's fine. I'm prepared for that now. Still smarting a little from yesterday's session. Had some body self care done via dry needling and chiropractor. My chiropractor goes to the same place I go to, so he went through the same workout with me haha. Since I did not give much thought to today's impromptu workout, I thought I would just focus on my weakness being upper body and core. Did not want to ask husband to spot, so I didn't go heavy on the bench pressing. Just threw on more sets to go to near failure. 1/9/2021 Workout Bench Press Weightlifting: 3x5 @ 45lbs 10x5 @ 65lbs Cardio-ish time. Buy in: 500m row 10 rounds 10 Russian Twists @ 15lb kettlebell 10 tricep dips 10 double crunches Cash Out: 500m row and 25 goblet squats Thoughts: Totally one of those days where I did not want to do anything. But, there was a time where I was fine with working out 4x - 5x a week. And, the DietBet pot is at $2m. Just meeting every goal until the end makes the money incentive worth it. Short term goals need to remind me of my long term goals. I'm not completely focused on my food yet, but I'm saving that strategy for next month's interval winner's pot. I still have a healthy stash of various proteins, and all the usual food things we typically cook when we aren't fighting "hibernation mode". All in all, at least I got something done. Tomorrow, I will most likely do an active rest workout focusing on functional movements. Week 1 down. 51 more weeks to go. Decent start, I think.1 point -

DSC Raid
GazzaGarratt reacted to RenFengge for an event
I had 2 headsets on for the first hour lol. One for the game, one for the work meeting lol. Also, I have no clue really what's going on in the first encounter as I'm just doing ad clear and killing servitors, then shooting whatever cylinder I'm told to shoot. The second encounter is another that I have no clue what's going on lol. I probably should learn operator for those two before anything else. Sunday will be interesting... and probably test yours and Charlie's patience with me in a whole new way!1 point -

You do absolutely fine @RenFengge , appreciated you were balancing work and raiding yesterday, and its great that you somehow manage to do that ! Its always good to mix the roles up a bit - the one I dread having to learn is Atracks operator, always seems super busy.1 point -

Thanks, @Baabcat and @Venom , for again being the leaders on this. I'm super enthused for @RedBeardCG on learning new roles. He's much more competent than I, as I'm sure you have noticed. And, he's a superb teacher when it comes to raids. Also awesome to have @GazzaGarrattjoin us! Thanks to the rest of the group on putting up with my divided attention for most of the raid! Very cool to have another triumph, especially since I never expect to get any of them lolol.1 point -

Very disappointed we didn't beat City yesterday but it was just one of those games where we couldn't score. It doesn't happen that often now and we played quite well so i shouldn't be too disappointed but then again it is City. Looks like i'm a Spurs fan for the final!1 point -

Spurs to play minnows Man City in the final. I don't believe City have ever won the league cup or even a trophy for that matter so this will be big one for them😎1 point -

Can't believe we have to wait 4 months for the League Cup final😅 I may try and dig out my old Samsung phone to see if I can recover pictures from the 2008 final. I had 3 Tottenham home shirts that year - one at the start plain white and then I bought a special embroidered one for the final with Keane on the back and then I went out and got a winners one with King printed! I even had a half and half one from the Villa 125th year game. That was one expensive season. Went to every game in the League cup including Burnley away the following year too but I didn't go too insane with shirts that year😎1 point -

7DTD: Darkness Falls Mod Installation Guide
GazzaGarratt reacted to tronic44 for a topic
Hi FG, we thought it best to make this a seperate thread so people can find it easily. Below will be a step by step guide on how to get the mod working. Step 1: - Make sure your 7 Days to Die game is up to date in steam, it'll need to be on A19.3. - To make sure you've got the correct version, right click on the game in steam and go to the beta tab. Then select alpha19.3 Stable Step 2: - Download the client version of the mod https://gitlab.com/KhaineGB/darknessfallsa19client/-/archive/master/darknessfallsa19client-master.zip Step 3: - Make a copy of your 7 Days To Die game, it's important to note that this copy should be made to a drive that isn't for your Windows OS. - To find the correct folder to copy, right click on the game in steam, go to local files and then click on browse. NOTE - This will take you into the folder you need to copy, so you'll have to come out one folder and copy the 7 Days To Die folder. Step 3: - Unzip the client mod file you've downloaded and go in until you see these folders. Step 4: - Now copy the 3 folders plus the icon and README file to your newly copied game and overwrite when prompted. Step 5: - Right click on the 7DaysToDie application, go to send to and make a short cut to your desk top. NOTE: It's important you don't use the 7DayToDie_EAC file Step 6: - Launch the game and happy surviving! If you run into any trouble at all please contact me and we'll jump on discord and go through it together.1 point -

Large Site Update - 4.5
Spacedeck reacted to GazzaGarratt for a topic
Hi All, just a heads up to mention that the site has been updated significantly overnight and furthermore this morning so you will see some things a little out of place until I can fix it all correctly. This update significantly makes changes across the entire site, whilst we have had the long outstanding security fixed (massive thanks to @Shucker ) and also Commerce has been purchased and installed. Anything you notice looks slightly, feel free to mention it here - obviously i'll be already aware of certain things such as colours, text and alignment of menus/logos already. Busy day ahead - GGFG!1 point
