Haha yup, the 4C is a little tail happy. I think for a fast time on this track you have to really pay attention the the lines you take. The left, right, left at the beginning of the lap you can cut the kerbs quite a lot (aim for the red sausage kerb to go between your wheels). You can then get on the throttle soon after the right and hang on through the left giving you good speed all the way down to the hairpin. After the hairpin, take a tight line through the left to give you a normal out-in- out racing line through the right and left. With left also being a corner you can really use the kerbs on to keep your speed up.

The CMOS is just a small watch battery correct? You can disconnect it and reconnect it?

Completed Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I say completed but I didn't see the final cut scene or the short bonus mission. For anyone still to play this, DO NOT PLAY THIS ON PC!!! You might be able to change resolution to make it look good but that will come with constant crashes, including a big bug at the end of the game which stops you activating the final cut scene. Tried verifying files to see if it would play in default and I lost all my saves, so fuck it... 😡 Game is full of bugs and the controls are super clunky. PS ^ should we not remove that advertising in the post above?

Not great news on the PC front. Checked each RAM sticks to see if there was a problem there. Nope. Installed a new PSU (which was a bastard of a job due to some tight cabling). Switched on. Same issue still. So, options are becoming limited. I’ve read online about CMOS, MoBo battery reset etc but I’m no expert and it looks like I’m going to need a new Mobo, or CPU. I can really do without the expense but I suppose the MoBo is an old Z87X UHD3 and was probably due to be updated...just not now damit, if that's what it is.. I may call in a specialist for advice, but for the moment I’m a console peasant. Annoying.
