  1. One important thing I forgot to mention - when going to the Guardian farm, in the graphic options turn your particles down to minimum else you will have a bad time! That out the way it's a bad news, good news, bad news, good news situation. Bad news - Even though the killing / collection mechanism for this guardian farm is the same as the one I built on the other server I play on. Items were getting caught on the glass panes, at first I didn't think it was that many but I checked and I was wrong!!! Only a few were getting through and I picked up half an inventory's worth that were stuck. Good news - I fixed it. Bad news - Rather than re-design the whole room and item trasport system I modified it slightly using hoppers on droppers. Surely this is good news though? Where's the bad news? The droppers are firing almost constantly so they are constantly clicking while the farm is active. It isn't too bad if you're only in there for a minute but I've spent about an hour digging and building - click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click ARRRGHHHHH!!!!! Good news - I don't think we're losing any items now and OMG I forgot how fast the farm runs when there aren't other people online. The items aren't currently being sorted so the chests are all random at the moment but I'll be putting item sorters in at some point but for now I'm happy just to be collecting the drops.

  2. Tranmere 0-7 Tottenham. Spurs got lucky tonight - could easily have been 8-7.

  3. I've just read that this place has a micro-brewery as well!! Wonder if this is connected to the internal plumbing systems as well [emoji23][emoji23] Via the FG App

  4. Its the fact that we’re getting less content for the same money, I haven’t liked some of the newer campaigns but there might be others that have. The idea that you could swap an entire campaign for one map and battle royale is insulting to the community, even if people don’t realise it. It’s a lack of imagination and laziness, even the specialist classes are basically the bloody same as previous games.

  8. Are you one of the old people who get lost? A good idea though, maybe the the guardian farm could be a prismarine design, the one that goes through the nether fortress could be nether-y so netherrack, netherbrick, lava etc. I don’t know what the other two could be though but they can be left as TBD.

  9. This was insane https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11679/11598280/john-stones-makes-remarkable-goal-line-clearance-for-man-city-against-liverpool I think they should probably change the rules to say that if 75% of the ball has crossed it's a goal. 11mm is nuts!

  10. The face of Hearthstone left Blizzard some time ago. Looks like he and other former HS devs are pairing with Marvel. https://www.gamespot.com/amp-articles/a-new-marvel-game-is-being-developed-by-former-bli/1100-6464154/?utm_source=reddit.com

  11. Too late now IMO. This should've happened in the early 2010's like we saw with Frostbite. The dated technology has really held the franchise back as has the dated multiplayer format. BO4 was a big overhaul for the series but despite poaching all ideas from other hugely successful titles, they still manged to screw it up somehow. COD used to be the lead innovator and now its languishing. Activision have very little to fall back on with Destiny, Rockband and Tony Hawk as their key brands and with 3 major studios to fund; they need the income that COD delivers just to remain sustainable. They'd probably be better off selling the brand altogether and probably IW, SHG and 3arc with it. I can see someone buying COD but certainly not wanting the studios on top. Activision have taken it as far as they can and they are paying the ultimate price for their lack of investment and greed. I think they'll milk it until they kill it if they don't look to sell up. It's failed as an eSport, it's failing on Twitch even with Blackout, the sales are 'disappointing' and the only thing keeping it in the green is in-game purchases and even that's fading. Activision's lack of foresight and grasp of the market compared to Epic, Ubisoft and even scum like EA is truly shocking. They got so comfortable with supply drops and people buying COD and season passes every year that they didn't plan an exit or the possibility of a decline.

  12. At the end of the day - and as everybody knows - COD needs a massive overhaul and some serious investment. They need to bin it off for a few years, buy an actual new game engine, sort their studios out and the release a proper new COD on the next generation of consoles. But we all know they'll just continue to milk the franchise like they have been doing for years.
