I wish I got to meet the man. What a brilliant creative mind and such an influential figure in comic book media and beyond. So I’m a pretty rabid Pokémon fan & player. Breeding, VGC format, Showdown, you name it. The newest Pokémon game for the Switch is attempting to bridge the gap from the new Pokémon fans who only know the franchise through PoGO and the old faithful RPG base. With that in mind the game is a remake of RBY and a really good one at that. The leveling mechanics are weird as the catching Pokémon style but that’s understandable. A real shame. It screams out that they rushed it out before Christmas to try and get some of the early spenders around September time. It can't compete against Red Dead 2 unfortunately.

With Alphas 17s experimental release due tomorrow, this seems like the perfect time for me to dust the cobwebs off the FG server and get it running again. People always moan about publishers being greedy but I always say that games are a business and their number one purpose is to make money. If people are going to spend money on something then they're going to keep putting that sort of shit in their game. I'm not saying I support this sort of shit. Cosmetic only micro-transactions don't bother me that much but they keep carving away at things that were free in previous games to sell back to us. In BO3 you could earn skins for operators just by using them. Now you have to grind for them or buy them. And you just fucking KNOW that weapons are coming. That's what REALLY fucks me off; turning a £60 game into a pay-to-win game.

Finally got the first game complete(along with trophies) I’m about halfway done with the second game and I’m enjoying the ride so far if anyone is on the fence about it I say give it a shot

Ran Strange Terrain about 12 times before the RL dropped, was actually quite fun , think the best time we got was sub 10 minutes. Now need to drop the EP sniper !

I got killed last night by someone going to lob a concussion grenade. I went prone whilst shooting him and it fell onto my back where it preceded to do the Michael Flatley riverdance, hurting me for 25 health or something every second or so. It wouldn’t let me get up so I had to die agonisingly slowly 😡

Actually quite enjoying this Nuketown, as long as you don't run into a full party on the other team. The fact that nades are a lot less frequent in this COD really helps objective modes because its more gun on gun.

Went to see bohemian rhapsody on Friday absolutely loved it, parts sent me cold and the live aid section was properly nailed, made such a change from the constant stream of super hero/ marvel/ reboots etc

Was able to play the first 2 worlds of Spyro 1 but so far it is beautiful and it’s a wonderful nostalgic trip and Spyro and the gang look so good with the update I plan to play more and will give my 2 cents about the remaster as a whole when I complete them

There was a patch plus they implemented an in-game store too. Still can't see where the 9.4gb comes from though!
