  1. Biggest highlight of the England game

  2. I thought it would be a good time to do a quick update as we are heading into one of the biggest weeks of gaming next with E3. It's been a funny old year so far this year. Some real positives seen early in the year however, games have took a serious dive into Spring which has been felt around the community. We continue to say hi to new people coming in and old veterans coming back and saying hi. Great to see a few stick around of late too. We should be proud that we've still managed to do quite a lot and have a lot of fun along the way. Over recent weeks we have: - Loads of video montages, thanks to @tronic44 and @Greboth - The born of GTA FG Friday - how epic have they been?!? - The creation of the Forever Gaming Feel Good Fund with a bunch of people wthat now feel good - New quizzes made for the community - A bunch of new members and a few old regulars have come back That being said, I feel like we've lost a bit of drive of late. It does happen as it is Summer and for once, the UK is having decent weather, but with the hope of what comes next week, let's get back on track. I can't do this on my own and we all know how this is the best place to be when its buzzing. Share what news you can from E3, get involved and support the new FGers feel at home. I want to push this place and all of us to have way more fun and get more complete a shed loads of activities together - from messing about in quickplay games, completing hard raids and joining up to do some charity streaming and real life meeting. We can do this people! GGFG

  3. Trying to be objective here, I have to admit I was disappointed at the slight under 100% effort given after the goal went in. I imagine its extremely hard to make a game happen when you make so many changes. I can only go by what I felt and seen and it didn't really feel like we were in trouble but I also appreciate we didn't make a huge amount of chances. Its a game of fine detail - Rashford scoring his chance we'd wouldn't be so despondent. Unfortunately, what I know I struggle with is the naivity and simplistic nature of alot of fans and pundits. Whenever England don't win we effectively are the worst on the planet. Its not realistic not fair. We've got a lot to be positive about against Columbia.

  4. England looked like they lost on purpouse. Bet they'll lose to Colombia because karma is a bitch. Great goal by Januzaj though.

  7. Looking forward to the England game tonight everyone? It'll be nice watching us without any pressure. I don't care where we finish, just go out there and try to win. I'd play Rashford tonight for a full game. Keep him match sharp. Maybe even Vardy.

  8. I have the FG Unread Content as my home page/open page so I check it whenever I go on the Interweb. I like the forums/posts best including non-gaming ones, political threads, music, etc. The videos can be pretty good (Waldorf Salad!😂😂) and it’s been fun meeting up with you guys. I don’t have a single shred of interest in Instagram/FaceAche/Twatter...I presume Discord is for PC games?...Twitch has given me a few laughs in the past. Haven’t delved too deeply into the quizzes yet. Merchandise? Possibly but it would depend on quality....we don’t need people falling out over merch... I think you’ve done a wonderful job to date Lee and I’ve loved every minute!

  9. If the Serbs had any composure in front of goal this would've been a different game. Still, Brazil - even when ordinary - are no mugs to be rolled over. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  10. I disagree 😂 Nah, I actually don't tbh. Graviton is super at low level hordes such as thrall but really high end bosses doesn't really suit it. When you drop Crimson (Hand Cannon Exotic) you may not go back from this as the most used exotic. I use Crimson in most places but looking for a new legendary primary so i can re-use my exotic slot for Darci or Tractor Cannon. (See separate thread on what legendary i should use). Legendary primary - currently have Origin Story. Legendary Secondary - switch between Frostmire Hex (Scout Iron Banner Rifle) and Inaugural Address (Pulse Raid Rifle). Sins of the Past Legendary Rocket Launcher and Hawthorne's Shotgun I alternate so I can use exotics in othet slots depending on activity. Glad You're trying it mate, give me a shout next time and I'll join you to level up my other characters with you.

  11. Very poor performance overall. Loftus-Cheek looked like the only one who was really trying. That was almost a Belgium 3rd string team with players I forgot even existed -Januzaj couldn't even score for Sunderland, Vermaelen hasn't been fit since 1999 and probably needs a leg transplant, Hazard shone and he's not a fraction as talented as his brother and the rest of the team weren't really trying and we were still soundly beaten. We will have egg on our face if we lose to Columbia and they are a good side plus very well-supported in Russia. I'm still satisfied with second and a potentially easier run-in but at the same time I am annoyed at the overall performance and I wouldn't trust any of those players to bolster the first team if needed. Tonight also exposed how dodgy Pickford can be when finally called into action after two piss easy games. Our record in knock-out rounds is tragic - we've only beaten Denmark and Ecuador off the top of my head in recent memory and Columbia will be a very hard fixture so we'll need our first team in top form for that one. No more Panama and Belgium reserves now.

  12. We lost to a team who by all accounts didn’t want to win, Martinez is probably totalled pissed at them. Definite reality check.

  13. Wow, Japan were pretty disgraceful - they played to go through by virtue of two yellow cards and played out the final 10 minutes just passing the ball around relying on Senegal not scoring against Columbia. If England win we play them but have a harder side of the draw otherwise we face a tough challenge in Columbia but a more relaxed route after that. It's a tough one but we have to play to win I suppose and just hope for the best.

Folks will disagree, but for me Skyburners is better, also the one Launcher that looks like a dick. Crimson is also much better So is Suros I typically used: Nameless midnight, solemn hymn or uriels favor or positive outlook or skyburners and either Sins of the Past, Launcher that looks like a dick, Darci, Prospector, The Colony (although not really for pve)

  16. If we win tonight and top the group, we are sided in the draw with France, Argentina, Uruguay, Portugal, Brazil and Mexico but if we lose against Belgium and finish second, we face Russia, Spain, Croatia, Denmark, Sweden or Switzerland. Looking at this I'd rather lose and get a piss easier route!

  17. Late to the show, I started this last night. Is it sad that I now only use the graviton lance and look constantly to level it up - is that what I should be using my legendary whatsitcalleds for? Hope so as I'm keeping theme aside soley to level up that weapon.

Ultimate, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Pokemon Let's Go. However, there were a handful of notable franchises that were nowhere to be found during the show. Everything from Metroid Prime 4 to Yoshi, and even Animal Crossing to Mother 3 — many of us have been left wondering where some of Nintendo's most iconic titles have been. With that being said, we did a little digging ourselves and reached out to Nintendo to find out the fate of some of our favorite franchises. Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon 2019 Speaking with IGN, Nintendo’s Senior Product Marketing Manager, Bill Trinen, revealed that Nintendo wanted to focus on a shorter window this year rather than showing off some of last year’s big surprises like Metroid Prime 4 and the upcoming core Pokemon RPG. “There was other stuff that we probably could have included in E3, but is probably a bit further out, and so we decided to really kind of keep the focus a little bit more on between now and early 2019, which I think you saw some hints of there with a couple of games,” Trinen told IGN. “We want to show stuff when we think it's ready to show. Obviously, it's not like we've stopped working on any of the things we talked about last year, that stuff's all being worked on,” Trinen added. “We'll just show stuff when we're ready to show it and really, right now, the focus is on two big games in the form of Smash and Pokemon [Let’s Go Eevee and Let’s Go Pikachu].” Mother 3 “When we have something to announce, we will,” Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told IGN at E3. “Fill in the blank of your favorite franchise. Our mentality will be we'll announce information close to its launch date versus teasing people for years on end.” Fils-Aime responded similarly to a potential Western release for Mother 3, a game we’ve been asking him about for the last several years. “Again, we know, I know there's a fan base for that title. All I could say is we're aware,” he explained. “It's something that we always think about in terms of where there are opportunities to reintroduce IP to fans, to do it in a way that builds new fans, we're certainly aware. No promises, no commitments one way or the other, but we're aware.” Animal Crossing Fils-Aime said that the success of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp bodes well for the success of the eventual next installment in that franchise. "We see tremendous opportunity in using the mobile platform to introduce IP to consumers who may not be as familiar. Animal Crossing is a great example. Tremendous interaction with Pocket Camp," he said. "Fans are really enjoying that experience. We're introducing it to new consumers. That bodes well for whenever the next Animal Crossing might come." Yoshi Nintendo confirmed that Yoshi for Switch is still in development, though has been delayed to next year. Nintendo's website now lists Yoshi as a 2019 release. "It's actually been making really good progress. They decided they wanted to make some improvements, so they're going to take just a little bit more time on it and that's why we're not showing it this year at the show," Trinen told IGN, "But I think you can look forward to some updates on it later in 2018." Initially announced at E3 2017, Nintendo showed off an extensive demo featuring a brand new cardboard aesthetic. At the time, Yoshi was planned for a 2018 release, though now we know that we'll most likely see it sometime next year. Preorders for Yoshi are still open on Amazon. Star Fox Despite no announcement of an official reprisal for the franchise — be it the rumored Star Fox Grand Prix or something entirely new — Ubisoft revealed during their E3 conference that Star Fox will be a playable character in the Switch version of their new open-world space adventure game, Starlink: Battle for Atlas. The Switch version will come included with an exclusive version of an Arwing fighter and will feature story missions exclusive to Star Fox, which Ubisoft claims will fit nicely within the lore of Starlink.
