  2. Also need to have a think about what gets recorded and saved for viewing, and how long to save things for, and highlights too.

  4. Guys, just wanted to say I really enjoyed playing this the other night with stretch didds crispy and Lee. Won all 3 of my placement matches with yous and a couple of them were really tight games which made the wins even sweeter. Didds was healing me and reviving me like nobody’s business and stretch was giving me some great advice, such as “don’t run away Mart stay and fight” ok! I am bang average at this game (probably even below bang average) but i think, as someone said earlier, if you just keep a calm head on this game and make the right decisions then you will get some joy, eg waiting to group up before rushing into a point. AnD of course good communication always helps

  8. Hey buddy. How's it going? It's been a long time. I was told to contact you a few weeks ago, but it slipped my mind! My apologies. Make sure you add everyone. I'm sure there is still a heap of peeps playing the new CoD. As for me, I'm primarily playing on the PC now and enrolling into college this year.

  10. @Stretch616 looks like you may have to send out invites. I remember this was how it was for the other teams. There is a 'I am interested' box which I've clicked but I believe people have to register on Gamebattles, link there PSN and then you search and invite them. They just then need to validate the invite. I believe so far on the other thread Mike and Rich have asked to be a part of the team.

  11. Just checked the link and it is right from the team management page. Maybe it'll take a little while for the URL to get into action? I'll take another look later on. Fully agree that you shouldn't be the 2nd in command. You've got more than enough on your plate!!

  12. Nice stretch. Can you check the link please mate as it doesn't find it? Also, for once, whilst I love helping and organising things it would be great if someone else offered to be 2nd in command. I need to know what's happening across all things FG but that can happen without me being a lead/deputy. I'll dip in as a player though for sure!

    Steven Seagal

I like some of his earlier movies, they're kind of funny. Didn't know much else about him until recently. This year old AMA from Reddit has some seriously hilarious comments.

  14. I'll have a look what I can do on FG homepage to highlight it above and beyond the streams widget we have already. Also,we need to promote it through our other social media. We've started pretty well so far and I've also got the Instagram FG page up and running. I'll put up a separate post about our arms and where to support FG as the more of us cover off every social space, every little helps to make this place and the stream a fun place to be.

  15. We've only 8 followers for the channel so far. I'm sure we can do better. Just regular forumers should be able to take us at least into the 30s or 40s. Also, I have TwitchPrime through Amazon prime which means I'm able to subscribe to a channel. Which means they pay the channel real money on my behalf. I'm currently subscribed to SadaPlays (he's silly but not a dick and makes me laugh) but I'll switch over next month to fgstreams 👍

    PS4 Headsets

I'm on the budget end of this as well mate. I bought the Turtle beach P12 when I first got the ps4 and whilst not the best they've not let me down yet and they've taken a bit of a kicking. I'd love to upgrade to something better but it really does depend on budget and I think Deb's would freak out if I spent £150 on a headset!!😂😂

  17. Winston is a solid pick but just difficult to figure how to stay alive as you're finding. The hardest thing is to learn how to use the bubble to the best effect and making sure that your positioning (whether inside or out) makes the best use of it to aid in the survivability. I like this idea. We just need to make sure we fully commit to the team fight and we're not splitting off to do our own thing Was a pleasure mate!! They were some really close games which always make you feel good afterwards 😁 I've gotta say, if nothing else, a discussion thread like this will go a long way in improving our game just from honest and upfront conversation 😘

  23. You were like Rambo when you came on with me[emoji16] There's a toughness to the game which is why it's essential to know the maps inside out. I've mostly played offline v AI only until I've been happy I know my way around. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  24. It's insanely difficult. My first game lasted 15 seconds. Via the FG App

  25. You get dropped into a map, there's a choice of 4 at the moment. There's a number of spawn points and they will all spawn human players. AI players spawn in at different intervals. Depending upon where you spawn there's a selection of map exits. You have around 45 minutes to loot kill other players and AI and reach the exit. If you die you lose your gear permanently. If you don't make the exit in time you are classed as MIA and lose all your gear permanently. That's essentially a raid. The amount of players, AI players and time allowed depends on the map chosen. Swatting

Not a fan of Salon.com typically, but I thought this op-ed was solid. https://www.salon.com/2018/01/06/swatting-didnt-kill-a-man-police-did/ “Swatting” didn’t kill a man, police did Police accountability needs to be a part of the conversation in the shooting of an innocent man after a prank call Andrew Finch, a 28-year-old father of two, was shot and killed after walking out of his front door. The police officer who fired the weapon was part of a SWAT team called out to what they believed was a violent situation that involved a shooting and kidnapping. It turns out the emergency call to authorities was just a hoax, and Finch an innocent victim. The story has been covered widely since it happened on Dec. 28 in Wichita, Kansas. The suspected prankster has been arrested, his criminal background repeatedly cited, and one headline after another has branded “swatting” as a deadly prank. “Swatting” is when someone calls emergency services anonymously to report a fake situation with the intention of getting a SWAT team or large police presence to respond to the address given. But is it the “swatting” that’s deadly, or the police officer who pulled the trigger? “There’s a reason why swatting is such an effective tactic,” said Kade Crockford from the ACLU of Massachusetts in an interview last week for “Salon Now.” “It’s because police departments across the country have largely, in the dark, militarized to the extent that they are really hair-trigger ready to be deployed by a malicious actor like this in a prank that unfortunately, in Kansas, ended in someone’s death." SWAT teams are primarily used in the war on drugs, often in lower income and minority communities. An ACLU study from 2014 found that 80 percent of the raids they analyzed were carried out to execute a search warrant. The allegedly violent incident that police were responding to and the amount of media attention paid to the raid in Kansas makes it an outlier. “This is obviously a very highly publicized SWAT raid that ended very badly. SWAT raids end badly all the time in the United States,” said Crockford. Watch the full interview with Crockford in the video below to hear more about the ACLU's findings The government doesn’t keep across-the-board statistics on SWAT raids, but a New York Times investigation found that at least 81 civilians and 13 law enforcement officers died in raids of this kind from 2010 through 2016, with many others maimed or wounded. “We really have to look at police department policies and procedures with respect to what happens after those SWAT teams are deployed,” said Crockford. “We have to ask, as a society, what are we doing or not doing at a systemic level that enables these kinds of mistakes to take place.” Despite a renewed national focus on excessive police force, thanks in large part to the Black Lives Matter movement, courts have shown that the law usually sides with the officers involved if they believed their lives were in danger. Radley Balko has written extensively about police militarization and no-knock raids. In his latest article at the Washington Post about the Kansas incident, he wrote about the conditioning of police to believe they are increasingly under attack, despite statistics showing the opposite to be true. “It puts lives at unnecessary risk. It increases the chances that a police officer will see an innocent gesture as a furtive one,” wrote Balko. As much as “swatting” is a waste of public resources and an atrocious prank that deserves attention, it’s irresponsible and disingenuous to leave police accountabilityout of the conversation about the case in Kansas.
