JW4 for me as well. Haven’t watched a film on the big screen in ages so really enjoyed it 👍

Been wanting to rewatch Eraser for years. Was a really good watch for an Arnie film. His top films were definitely around the late 80s, early 90s era.

Eraser is a classic, not watched it in years.

Seen it many a time, indeed one of Arnies best. Everything about the film is over the top and ridiculous, but in a good way.

Literally just watched Oppenheimer and it was bloody good. Well directed, great story (not overly bogged down with quantum physics language) and brilliant cast with Cillian Murphy knocking it out the park with a lot of good supporting appearances from familiar Christopher Nolan actors (interesting to see how young people will react to RDJ not being Tony Stark in a major movie). Definitely recommend.

Went to see it last week and agree it's a great film, it's long but I never felt the length was an issue. Jumping around the timeline was annoying a little and I would have liked to see a little more around the Manhatten project timeline but I'll definitely watch it again when it's available on TV.

We watched Barbie the other week. I thought it would be funnier than expected, but it wasn't. More thought provoking which I felt wasn't clear from all the headlines beforehand. Having said that, Ryan Gosling as Ken was class, he played it brilliantly. Will Ferrell always is a joy to see with his cameos in films. I can't seem to categorise into one single genre either. Just really stands out on its own with music, plot, characters, twists, etc.

Watched spiral the other night which it's supposed to be saw 9 which it has no real connection to any of the saw films it's more of a spin off.

I would not bother watching watching it as i wish I turned it off after the first 15 minutes.

Watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as well as Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Had some spare time in the evenings on holiday and really enjoyed them. Just Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore to go now.

Finally saw dead reckoning part 1 and if I'm honest I was a little disappointed but not sure why? Now don't get me wrong the film wasn't bad but maybe we've just seen it all before🤷. Still credit where it's due Cruise I'd say is the top action star at the moment imo and when Bond rises from the grave has some serious steps to get anywhere close.

It was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Most of the woke bollocks just flew over my head, I've become so numb to that shite that my brain literally doesn't even acknowledge it anymore. Gosling stole the show, his performance completely changed my opinion of him.

And Margot Robbie in sexy outfits, what more could a man want?

Well reluctantly watched expendables 4 last night and have to agree with the reviews I watched it is trash, no wonder Stallone seems to not to have wanted to be involved.

So does anyone seriously believe Megan Fox would be the leader 🤣 also the way the film was produced you could pretty much see everything was filmed on a stage or it just looked fake as fuck. Hopefully this series is now finished because it definitely to a massive drop in quality.

Had a film recommended to me and eventually decided to watch it last week, not the usual crappy superhero/ comic book film and absolutely no identity politics thankfully...what it was, was an original in everyway war film..

Sisu

Let's be honest it's really violent and there's plenty of gore, the story isn't bad but the film gets more far fetched as it goes on however it was thoroughly entertaining and I just had to keep watching.

I actually watched a Xmas movie

Violent night, it was alright definitely had it's moments and killed a couple of hours.

Watched it last year, not bad...

Equaliser 3. I enjoyed it, always have these type of films with Denzel. Its not all about the action in how I enjoy his role, its his methodologies and process in how you see his subtle looks and moves towards things. A decent alternative to Taken series with Liam Neeson imo.

Watched Napoleon at the weekend, I was going to see it at the cinema but after watching critical drinkers review decided not to. This turned out to be the correct decision as in some parts I was just bored. I'd have preferred more of his campaigns etc and less Josephine bull shit.

So I watched Ferrari last night, I knew nothing about it going in and didn't know it's based on a true story.

Tbh it wasn't that good, all the racing scenes seemed like bad CGI  especially the crash scene then the bits about his life was just dull.

This was no le mans 66.

Do not watch Leave The World Behind on Netflix.  It pulls you in early, makes you think there's going to be some good story here, and then absolutely nothing happens.  Its dumb as fuck.

The new Mission Impossible is fantastic.  Free Solo about Alex Honnold is also a 100% watch

Free solo is excellent 👍

Watched Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick, again. They really are top watches. Fantastic action scenes and I appreciated even more watching them for yet another time.

So I finally watched the beekeeper, now it's a Statham film so you know what your getting but for me that's fine as I like his stuff and it's pure brain out entertainment.

I also watched, back to back the new road house and the original. Now for me it's the original hands down but I have to say the remake wasn't as bad as I expected if you can get past Jake Gyllenhal fighting Connor McGregor 🤔 however not sure we should see McGregor acting again either 😉. However not a waste of 2 hours.
