    Need to find time to read this but haven't really got that time yet. I think this is definitely interesting though considering how many reports show things more in a negative way than a positive way. Nice to see some positivity surrounding video games in the media.

    Ooooh, yeah. I think I had a third party one in my loft that's similar to this one. I also had third party controllers alongside the normal ones, mainly for the beat em up ones. They had extra settings you could program slow or continually would be on if pressed! Suffice to say though, i never wanted to use them as it felt scummy to do so! Pic below:

    Love him in Elf. Superb. Also liked him in Mickey Blue Eyes with Hugh Grant, lol. Was always spoken highly of when I watched reviews on how Elf was made. RIP James. P.S. I now need to find a streaming service that has Eraser available to watch, been far too long.

    Didn't know that, that is interesting! Tbh, its probably time past that allows us to be so nice and forthcoming of both consoles but I do really think they both complimented each other. Whilst at the time they hated each other in the market and were allowed to make jibes at each other (looking at the initial Sega's adverts 😅), now I just look back and would advise anyone to get both because switching between the two at times is such a joy to have the option. Unique games developed either side, alongside the game controllers, makes it worthwhile.

    I played Street Racer once around a random mate I had back in Secondary school. Underrated I must say, especially when you could play a Mario Kart football gamemode. Track and Field is absolute iconic. I had a chipped version of a PS1 so my Dad would just grab this game from my Uncle who would do it as and when. I lost my disc for this but managed to find it online for £3.09. Absolute steal. Already tried to do Weightlifting and then Rowing. I always felt like i'd do well until someone looked at me and made me laugh cos i was likely pulling a ridiculous face concentrating and smashing the buttons as fast as I could 🥴🤣

    EXACTLY THIS!!! Although I won't lie, beating the CPU other 2 teams were a nightmare so what would happen was after 30-45 mins, @Findmartin and I would just ally up and then make a huge army to take them both on 😎 I feel like this would be amazing at a meet up for us all. In fact, I should find a way to build a shed at mine just for this. Amazing memories.

Nice to see a little intro there, we really do try and get to know each other where possible because as you've probably seen, its an awesome place for all of us to share info and opinions and then get our asses online and have some lolz together. Playstation is in our sweet spot too so thats great news. Hopefully when you can get your PS Plus again, you could look at our FG Fridays, usually playing an accessible game you will own....even Fall Guys is free these days so always a top laugh when we get the numbers online for a large private party. What was the last single player game you completed? I struggle like hell playing single player, but thats only cos i love this annoying bunch of twonks online 😅 Looking forward to seeing you around FG more! Enjoy your stay!! 😎❤️

    Funny thing on this is I'm with you, although it had massive variety. The challenge was that when they came out, for many of us all we were interested in was playing footy games, shooting stuff in COD or racing around on GTA. They churned games out back then so quickly too, huge library of games to pick from. PES > FIFA in those years too! 😅 And I'd say the rule of thumb I tend to use is if they've stopped producing games for the console, it can be considered retro in my eyes 😎 The last game produced was back in 2019 for it....and don't include the digital gamepass games, my dude 😄

    A Nintendo DS is defo retro - they're 18 years old now!! I notice thats one of the very few crossovers Pokemon did so should be a good one I hope. Command & Conquer is one of those games I wish they would resurrect. Played many a game of that linked up with two PS1s. Retaliation is the one that we played. Ridiclous amount of fun, especially with Tesla Towers 😎 Great finds mate.

    Gameplay trailer revealed yesterday Looking at it, I couldn't get a huge feel for how it will look and play. We don't know how the gunplay will 100% feel until we see a more detailed gameplay and UI/HUD. The story parts is looking good so far, and the voiceover for Robocop is quality. Still probably a bit to go until we can see if we're looking forward to a must-buy me thinks.

    World of Illusion > Castle of Illusion. The story that could be played co-op was literally one of my all time top games of the Mega Drive. How they made Mickey and Donald work together in certain parts was really ahead of the times. Each level is incredibly made too. Never gets old completing this game. Premier Manager (the original one) was super. I used to play as Cambridge United iirc. So hard to get up the leagues, especially with such pants budgets! The other one that got me into racing games early doors was Virtua Racing. The cartridge is unusually large compared to the others due to 'brand new 3d graphic models' it brought from the arcade machines to home consoles. Grabbed this from Wiki: "Due to the complexity of the Model 1 board, a home console version seemed unlikely, until 1994 when a cartridge design incorporating the Sega Virtua Processor (SVP) on an extra chip was created to enable a version on the Genesis/Mega Drive. This chip was extremely expensive to manufacture, leading Sega to price the Genesis version of Virtua Racing unusually high: US$100 in the United States[13] and £70 in the United Kingdom."

    I think temper expectations to expect something that looks like GTA 5.5 when we receive GTA6. I can't see how it could feel a brand new GTA game, unless it has a completely brand new map - if it was me, i'd suggest to put multiple maps in GTA6. Maybe also rebrand GTA6 to essentially THE GTA World. That way it opens the door easier for regular updates and people will forget they'll be flogging the new GTA for 20 years on whatever consoles are to come. Tbh, I just want a better GTA party system. With GTA on this FG Friday, i'm sure we all want to play GTA rather than what we usually play is GTA Loading.

    My top 5 thinking quickly about it: Mega Drive SNES Xbox Gamecube PS1 Mega Drive was my first console, and my love for Sega over Nintendo will forever stand (FU Mario!). The games on that were incredible, however what probably helped was I could still try out the SNES when I was 10 upwards because @Findmartin had the SNES so we'd alternate games. Funny thing is SNES seemed to have better co-op games to play together until the PS1. The only real huge shift in games for me came with the original Xbox. Xbox Live changed my life and games overnight and if it wasn't for how i grew up with the Mega Drive, I think my Xbox would win hands down. Its probably why I got big into online gaming and multiplayer games way more in general. @J4MES OX4D I missed the N64, probably because my lack of love for Nintendo. Although, when I was old enough I got a GameCube and it honestly was incredible how unique their games were. I imagine N64 was the same, especially with the likes of Goldeneye? Racing wise, Gran Turismo was just the best although I played TOCA 1 and 2 alongside V-Rally 1, 2 and 3 way more because of the Championship co-op ability they had.

    Really looking forward to seeing it and your views on how different it feels playing the same games we've been playing on our PC together. Also, can you give us an update on how the Mic/Voice feels on it too. Not sure if you've had to purchase a different headset to work with it or not!
