Some absolute stonkers in there.🔥❤️ And some Mis-teeq skills from @Findmartin 🤣🤣
    Disgusting bar steward..... 🤬🤣
  1. Sorry, I meant I get that why companies would cash in - this is more just the moral side of it, which will never win out 😄 As of now, 3080s cost around £100 more than a current gen console. That is the graphics card alone. I suppose my point is, like many that we have here, people want to play PC games but PC bundles just aren't as accessible to budgets these days. And when you get one, they're so worried about games not being able to be supported. A console is plug and play, and far cheaper. From a gamers perspective of course as there's many other reasons to have a PC too.
  2. What does that mean mate? I mean, I made sure I saved my last checkpoint and left a base computer down so I can't get my head around why I couldn't find it? You can have multiple bases can't you?
  3. I defo think we need to explore more and get to grips with a few bits and pieces before modding this. Its nice to know there's been randomers already on the server too. It really adds to the suspense of everything. A tiring way back from where I met Crispy on the way North West to the current camp in Stary Sobor. Clearly even with the complass it was hard to work out where I was. So much so that I ended up getting battered by a few Zombies, passing out and having to take my own shirt off to just make some rags to stop the bleeding. Freezing much, yessssss. 😅 I ended up going so far that I worked out finally I was at the Airtfield above Stary 🙈. @phil bottle had to keep shooting random shots when i got near Kabanino so I knew where he was. No food or water left, blood on empty after another battering from Zombies. It took me best part of an hour to stop fainting and get into the town. Somehow i miraculously stayed alive and got my blood back up to yellow (half-full). Mental game just to get back where I was before the massacre that we didn't survive the other day 😅Lovely. Really want to get into some base building again. And then finding some car parts if we can.
  4. Just managed to watch that Chad @Riff Machine and boy it looked great. Already looking to find it on eBay 😄 My first taste was actually Final Fantasy 7 and I wish I had played more turn based games before that. I'd love to know about more though. FF7 really paved the way i loved storytelling in videogames and it was nice to feel like you had to time to react and take your turn in fights, more so like a chess fight. I bought FF8 after that and spent many hours in that too. One game I do have still that i enjoyed was Finaly Fantasy Crisis Core on the PSP. Superb game, wish that had a port over to one of the latest consoles.
  5. Ngl, its pretty weird seeing him running around in the game. I suppose its hard as after launch, what skins do you bring into a game to make it fun and worthwhile? Clearly people bought into it, although i'd say the new Godzilla one looks better as it looks like you are also in full camo, which adds to the feel of the game.
  6. Not had chance to try this out yet. @Macca89 said it was in a separate BR mode with 60 players rather than 150. I was hoping it would impact the full 150 players but I imagine these things are massive and cause huge disruption to the map. Anyone else tried it yet?
  7. Here's some of the info and screenshots for the new quest system. Looks like new grunts too that will have weapons now, which defo adds a new dimension to the gameplay. Here's the developer stream too that goes into better detail on what's coming in: Seems to be replacing daily/weekly challenges so definitely a very good first step into adding objectives to when you are playing each round. Hopefully they can expand on these Quests to eventually have multiple step quests with a big reward at the end. This game still has a great intense feel to it.
  8. Totally get you won't be on your own for this one and I won't derail this thread for this...does make me think of a separate thread about unpopular opinions 😄
  9. We do get to the stage that people forget we don't have to make every game into a movie or series. I think RE on a TV screen actually works better with the animated movies personally. Some of them made are pretty solid watches, better than some of the ones made with Milla Jovovich (even though i'm a sucker for these films! 🤣)
  10. I feel like we've met the full circle moment where everything will (hopefully) start from scratch again, especially if you see all the deals being done by clubs and sponsorship deals with the new and upcoming football games. We used to have so many football games back in the day, I think its a huge potential for any game producer to grab right now. We clearly feel that EA Sports FC will be just FIFA 22 rebadged, which I don't care if they do unless they try and ask us to blow large amounts on it. They need to tap into the gamemodes that people really REALLY love out there but clearly they don't see it can't be a goldmine, which I believe it could be and then we all win too because we get updates to them. And imo, those gamemodes that tons of people have loved for years are Pro Clubs from FIFA and Master League from PES. How good would it be to be able earn your way to create your own Pro Clubs badge or play a full Online Master League with other people. Confuses me so much that this is right in front of their faces and they can't still see it.
  11. Is this similar to Genshin Impact at all?
  12. I thought it was a really great considering some hadn't done one for a few weeks and some hadn't done a full run in a complete run. It really is a fun raid and still challenging which can lead to it being abit longer as each phase feels pretty long, especially the first one. Great feeling when we nailed it though. Special thanks to @Leeesh13 for slamming most people off the hexagon spikes in the jumping puzzle. If god made elite-titan trollers.....😎 Thanks for doing this Sam! Look at that nice shiny medal Batman @Riff Machine 😎❤️
  13. I didn't think of it like this but now you mention it, you could say that PCs are going the way of pricing themselves out of the market of the core gamer. It is far cheaper to buy a PS5 or Xbox, even if their prices feel quite high. And with many top end games needing later generational cards to get the graphics that people wanna see it does make me wonder why they haven't made a kind of 'budget' graphics card that could be very marketable right about now.
  14. The oldest one looks ace. Is there a 'cheat' section in it? Always found that hilarious. I defo have 2 cheat books that came with a magazine i'll try and share but also my cousin managed Toys R Us back in the day and he kindly gifted me some artwork that was from advertising some early console games. Even though they aren't magazines, i'll see what I can find later!
  15. I think this will be the start of many as it happens to all consoles eventually. I even looked last night and its quite difficult to buy a new PS4 now anyway. The game itself does look great. My son absolutely LOVED these previous games and I recall playing the first one years ago and enjoyed it too, especially the puzzles in it. How many characters can you be in this one? Has it been confirmed anywhere?
  16. Might check what it is on the UK PSN store. Seems like a cool co-op game game to try out, even if its hard as nails.
  17. Happy birthday Sarah!! @Rumelylady I bloody hope Batman has delivered some nice presents this morning!! Have a great one! 🎂❤️😎💃
  18. Let's give you a small update story on how when Carl @TurboR56Mini joins the server, @crispymorgan jumps in and out and causes havoc in the process.... So, Carl needs to get where our little camp is for the interim period before we go off and find a better place to defend and call Home. After 5 minutes of walking around, Carl finds a place on the map where he is - Way East of Stary Sobor but thats okay. @phil bottle and myself start making our way to help get him and bring him back, with our food and drink supplies, it should be a piece of cake (Like Sponge cake, the easiest to make). At this moment, Crispy logs on. "I'll help, where are you guys?". We're half way there but we stop around in a small village, about 2 mins away from Carl. We loot a few things and grab basic stuff. Phil goes to hide in a building, whilst i'm just checking the map to see how far we've gotta go. BANG, BANG! Crispy has arrived. Now I haven't got using a gun yet on the server. I take very much the Sledgehammer approach. Its a very therapeutic way of relieving stress with Zombies. Now before Crispy finishing saying, "yeah if we go that way", Zombies start to flow. Nay, they thunder towards us. Cripsy bags himself straight into the building on the street. "Uh, lets get ourselves inside for a second". Okay. But first Ihave to get over a small wall to the building. By that time Crispy has made his way inside - and closed the door. Now, at this moment. I start panicking slightly. No deaths on the server yet, decent loot on me, tons of stuff for Carl too (a fancy Police Cap was going to be my first present for him). I race to the door - "Let me in, mate!", as a Zombie starts to munch on my shoulder. "Just get in!", "I'm TRYING!!". Now, i'm clearly pressing D instead of F because mild panic sets in with blood on my screen. When I then start pressing F, it doesn't open. Unbeknown to me, Crisoy tries to open the door at the same time resulting in Door staying firmly closed. One last time I press F, the Door finally opens.... BANG BANG BANG BANG! This screen follows: Somehow Crispy forgot that Doors can't be opened by Zombies and thought my pale looking survival body with a Green Helmet on looked like I wanted to eat him. In the space 0.134 seconds too. Its the thought that counts though, as Crispy then proceeds to try and say that "you look revivable, hang on". But, alas, my screen stays on that screen above. Funny that. Lessons learned. 1. Never let Crispy out of your sight. 2. Never let him come on a road trip.
  19. Got a really good start into the game over the past week and a bit. I know I've only tocuhed the surface but thanks to @kaltak initially showing me the ropes with some progression on the early story to get me through the first Space Station I cam across and some upgrades to my rucksack and all-in-one blaster 😄 Thanks Kal! I was then on over the weekend and was around when @Shucker and @TurboR56Mini we're on the same planet together. After joining, I realised that I was visiting my first stable planet! Its mad that you have to see only harsh planets at the start and it felt so nice not to worry about Carbon, Sodium or Oxygen at all. I went off to find some Hidden Tech so I could get the Salvaged Data for the building parts and found a huge tunnel I dug into from the top so followed it out and ended up on the end of the cave which looked a perfect place to start a proper base build (rather than the crappy one you have to try and do on the crappy planet! 🤣). Carl really helped by giving me some proper renewable power and helped me get a ship from a random NPC that actually landed right next to my build! The power whilst I still want to learn it, really does help someone doing that at the start otherwise it feels like a really harsh start as the wiring isn't that obvious at the start and costs an absolute bitch of carbon. I couldn't get a pic of the base because for some reason I can't see where it is when I logged in - @Shucker , @TurboR56Mini , might need your help understanding that one. Outside of that though, heres my ship and me so far. Thanks for the help so far you guys, really helpful to have a little jumpstart. Just need to move the story on I think so I can get to the Anomaly(?) as Carl says that allows you to learn even more of the cool building pieces, like landing bays which I NEED very muchly. Fanks.
  20. Well, a cheeky few games at the end of the night weren't going very well so @Macca89 , @datfroggieguy and myself decided it was the last one of the night. Surprising ourselves, we seemed to get through the smaller circle after losing our Gulag's early doors. The final 20 left started to become very twitchy as people were coming from all angles, but we managed to find a sweet spot where they didn't spot us....until all carnage broke loose! Quick kills, self-revive central, and some great team combo kills to keep us in the game left us to kill the final two single people to get for the W. I clearly got giddy and tried to get the kill but got nailed, but left Macca and Froggie to pincer move the last man for well deserved win!! Great game. Here's the last 5 mins of the game. GGFG!! Our Final Kill summary. 14 total kills, high damage from the whole team - we'll take that thank you very much! 😄
🤣🤣 So so dirty....and then you finish it off with a rocket! 🤣
  21. Don't worry if you're a little late, I have a football friendly for my daughter to help manage so I should be on around 8pm-ish. See you all in one of the FG Game Rooms 👍
  22. Love the aesthetics. Always loved that style of retro character.
