I really love the F1 series. I bought the 2014 version when it was out on the 360 and loved every bit of it. However, because I really enjpy having settings on full races e.g. 70 laps, then I just haven't got the time. What differences/ improvements been made to this version against 2016?

Thanks @Bruce, I think we'll need to learn more about Nightfalls in general and what the mechanics are going forward. I want to make sure that, as an active clan, we support everybody and help each other through it. How many of those did you come across Adam? I haven't seen many yet tbh but will look tonight now I'm lv20.

At the start of Destiny 2 you get to watch a memories clip that shows what your fireteam was and on what day you did the that activity. From the Black Garden to Wrath of the Machine. Sounds and looks amazing. People should upload their clips here if they get chance.

Bob, I believe it is just sets off a beacon message so anyone random around the area can see that there is an event going off....I think? More Guardians = better chance of completing.

So fair play to Bungie. Such a brilliant idea to open a game up and make people engage emotionally. You can't not smile at seeing who you completed those activities with. I had a mix of the regulars here on mine. Started with @Stretch616 as he helped me realise what FG was all about, on to a memorable Prison of Elders completion with @techno and @Diddums which took for-ev-er. Great news just confirmed by Mark Noseworthy that you can access your memories. There is a View Legacy icon (3 shields) on the Select Character screen. Cursor over it for the option to see them again. Maybe post your video if you get chance? What did it remind you of?

Through the release of the new map there is talk the next character will be someone related to Junkrat, more specifically a Queen Junk. There is a throne for her in the new map desicated to Junkrat so all seems reasonable to think this is true knowing Blizzard's track record. Anyone else seen any info on it?

I think so but I also think its down to buiding the Reptutation up too. Effectively its a drop so whatever you are at that time when you visit I'd hope it takes that into play. Obviously it'll cap off at a certain level for sure.

@Amnotright bit of info on Legendary shards as I know you asked about where to get them from. All - Shards are required to infuse and increase the power of Exotic armour and weapons. If you dismantle Legendary armour you get 2 shards and armour material (3). If you dismantle an Exotic you get 10 shards and 1 advanced material. Not sure what advance material is used for yet.

I thought I'd start a separate thread for any info that people get about particular public events. Reason being, is because these key events make a massive difference to the game in terms of loot, experience, heroic variations and mechanics. Just going to start with the numbers so you can get into perspective how vast the content is on these, mainly due to Secret Events which are adhoc and can be set off by certain activities. European Dead Zone Visible Public Events - 13 Secret Public Events - 35 Titan Visible Public Events - 3 Secret Public Events - 8 Nessus Visible Public Events - 13 Secret Public Events - 33 Io Visible Public Events - 5 Secret Public Events - 15 All can be turned into heroic versions so you can double these encounters. I'm going to grab the other key posts like @jSyn66 found but would be good to have any strategy posts and encounter details either challenging ones or ones that drop sweet look.

You should think about sharing some info on here in the Destiny Lore thread because I'm certainly interested in it for sure There's tons to find which as people will start to tell you, I become a bit of a magpie for a shiny 'investigate' sign on Nessus. I gave in a reward to Sloane and she gave a chance to get a Legendary, however there was no button to obtain it. Does it just stay until you're a higher enough level?

Nice, good read @SirTombstone It's an interesting change what they did with infusion to only work with same gun. Not sure how I feel about that right now. I need to get my laptop running alongside me for that DIM again.

Thanks Jason / Chris. @techno @crispymorgan and myself did the Spider Tank one (didn't know heroic would drop) which was pretty awesome and completed it with 3 seconds to go. Hopefully the difficulties will be similar when you increase your Power and Light.

This. But ultimately at the start, its all about when you pick something up, check on what level that gun or armour dropped to the one your wearing. If you dropped something higher, equip it. Its all about your overall Power level to get as high as you can. Through changing guns you'll also start to learn what you like and dislike so when it comes to the higher level guns when you have a choice, you know what you'll pick.
