  1. PC Beta updates since the console beta: PvP changes Quickplay Matchmaking times will be shorter, with less emphasis on Skill. This is the fastest route to a game, but you may face opponents outside of your comfort zone. The winning score in Control has been extended from 75 to 100 to allow for more time to play and use your abilities. Because too many matches were shorter than we expected (some Guardians weren’t even able charge their Super) we’ve extended the trigger for the Mercy rule so it will come into play less often. Competitive Matchmaking takes more time to introduce you to players that are closer to you in skill with a good connection. These matchmaking settings may take longer, but we feel that the quality of the gameplay experience will be worth the wait. We have also made improvements to the way we calculate your skill in Countdown to better reflect how you’ll perform against your opponents. PvE changes FIXED: Infinite Super Glitch Infinite Supers are all well and good until someone loses an eye. FIXED: Warlock Glide Glitch This bug was awesome… So awesome it hurt us a little bit to kill it. Thanks to those in the console Beta who helped us track this down. FIXED: Infinite Grenades Glitch Another issue found with the help of our friends in the console Beta. (Thank you!) FIXED: Warlocks now have the same Melee Range as all other classes With the exception of where perks directly increase their range, Warlocks will punch like the rest of us. Our PC friends will get a chance to experience a world with consistent base melee ranges. So will the rest of you, when the game launches. TWEAKED: Globally reduced the time it takes to charge your Super This was a big change that came directly from your feedback during the console beta. We agree it was taking a bit too long to cook up a Super. TWEAKED: Increased Grenade Damage in PvE Increased damage helps Grenades feel as powerful as they should facing hordes of alien combatants and, more specifically, makes the longer cooldowns more palatable. We want abilities to be slightly more rare, but worth it. In the console Beta, the “worth it” part wasn’t quite there yet. TWEAKED: Increased Power Ammo drops in PvE This is something we had felt internally and have been slowly tuning up over the last several weeks. The PC beta has been updated with our new values and will provide much more heavy ammo in PvE than what was found before. Heavy ammo can also be directly farmed from all Yellow Bar Combatants.
  2. PC version has been delayed for 2 weeks later than consoles as it requires additional optimisation. Meanwhile, below is the opening sequence movie. Love all the nostalgia with this game.
  3. Sorry, I meant I had to constantly work out times from Eastern to UK, Westen to UK, etc. Great app, thanks for this!
  4. Err, yeah. Don't neglect your PPRs guys. Would be cool to know how your summer is going.
  5. Type 5. Already had my lunch today so my stomach obviously needs to make room for biscuits later.
  6. This young Russian showed a Genji Masterclass session to secure the first point just before Canada secured their supers. Man, I wish I could play Genji. Honestly, if you have a spare 30 minutes, below is the dominating force of South Korean team playing Russia in the Katowice qualifiers. They're not even trying.
  7. Tbh, I think you're getting better mate. You're calling it out now as soon as you do it, ideallyba little earlier would help but I also get why Res are instinctive. We need to check more in with each other when our Ultimate is ready. Last night was much better because we were calling out Ultimates and grouping up a hell of a lot more than usual. One of the main reason why we ended the night on a positive note.
  8. I'm so thick tbh. I think I have to change Eastern, Central and Pacific times constantly. And Pakistan for hammy and beast when they get on
  9. I just got the approval for the tea light holder and the christmas baubles! [emoji23] [emoji106] I've grabbed some pics of some of the stuff. The black bathrobe is actually really cool. Ghost Keychain White Bathrobe Black Bathrobe Jumpsuit / Onesie Destiny Cap Destiny Wallet (empty just like Crispy's) Stressball Faction Badges Christmas Baubles
  10. @crispymorgan can you get me the details of the rooms mate so I can speak to everyone individually and get some rooms booked. I could probably do something that means if you guys just paypal me then I can book room and tickets. Depending on the room sizes we've either got to group up as a 2 or 4. Once I know, I'll try and arrange that. Let's not lose focus on this otherwisr it'll fall to shit and that'll be a real shame.
  11. TGIF FG!
  12. Ready to take turns to kill Euan everybody? I'm really impressed to hear about most of the social md Headquarters supports up to 48 people at the same time and takes place in a 'D+3' zone (three days after D-Day), showing off the launching grounds of major Allied. The most exciting I've heard so far is entering 'The Pit' and challenging Euan, er, I mean someone to a 1v1. Headquarters also has proximity-based voice chat, so you can talk to others who are also hanging out in the space between matches. There's a firing range where you can try out weapons, and the range has target and you can challenge players to a contest in the firing range. That sounds like a great addition too. The shittest part i can see is getting prizes when watching other people open loot crates. Yep. Watching virtual boxes being opened. Wtf. Other than that though, some other decent updates (grabbed from Game Informer): - There are daily and weekly quests you can take on to earn rewards. - Players who take part in all the social elements stand to get more supply drops. - You can look at leaderboards, check your mail, inspect other players' attributes, use emotes, check up on Call of Duty news, or watch streams from inside a virtual theatre. - You can group up from inside Headquarters and head into multiplayer or zombies as a group. - You can "kick a few objects around," hopefully a soccer ball. - You can sit down and watch the 1v1 Pit matches. - There will be "dynamic events" in Headquarters, too, one example being an "aerial scramble that drives players to anti-air guns to fend off the base from enemy aircraft. - There could be seasonal events in Headquarters. - The game's cosmetic items aim to be authentic and genuine for the time period. This is actual decent news for a CoD imo. Let's hope there's no fuck ups with getting friends into the same HQ.
  13. Finally, the Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch has just arrived in the Overwatch PTR, with players on PC and the plan is for it to come somepoint after Summer Games. About time these modes came because you can see this opening up the game more so it's not just about Competitive mode. Love the idea of the 20 points total as well. Details of the mode are below: Deathmatch Eight players go head-to-head until one player scores 20 points. Players will earn 1 point whenever they land the final blow on an opponent and will lose 1 point whenever they die to environmental damage (ex: falling off a cliff) or self-inflicted damage. This scoring will be tracked in a brand-new scoreboard. The first player to 20 points wins.” Team Deathmatch Two teams of four players face off until one team scores 30 points. Players will earn 1 point for their team whenever they land the final blow on an opponent and will lose 1 point for their team whenever they die to environmental damage (ex: falling off a cliff) or self-inflicted damage. If players are resurrected before they respawn, the corresponding point for their death will be deducted from the enemy team’s score. This scoring will be tracked in our default scoreboard. The first team to 30 points wins. There’s quite a big list of maps to try out in Overwatch Deathmatch, including: Hanamura Horizon Lunar Colony Temple of Anubis Volskaya Industries Dorado Eichenwalde Hollywood King’s Row (TDM only) Black Forest (TDM only) Castillo (TDM only) Ecopoint: Antarctica (TDM only) Necropolis
  14. Nice. Downloading this now. How many common US times we got here?
  15. Got you. How big are the qualifying tournaments?
  16. That's what I was hoping too! Yeah, its a little concerning. Imo, they don't even need to do it. The game pre-order sales have been off the charts without all this.
  17. After your practicing, do you enter a league or is it a ladder where you have to beat the team above and do the same until you reach the top?
  18. Was thinking about asking the wife to use this for her scented candles! I actually like a lot of the merch they're doing with Numbskull.
  19. Agreed, might start a separate thread about what we think should be updated going forward. The streaming element seems the most significant change but with Destiny at 30fps and other games currently at a lower rate its not much use atm.
  20. I sent some video clips in yesterday. Can others do it ASAP as I think Rich is not far off having enough clips for the next one. Via the FG App
  21. The upcoming 5.0 firmware update still hasn't got a live date but sounds to be coming soon. From what I've read it will contain the following: - updates to the console's master/sub account system (parent/child accounts with relevant privileges) - a new web application to manage family accounts, and access parental controls/family membership options from your PC and smartphone - the ability to follow any user - the addition of notifications to the PS4's quick menu - Twitch streaming at 1080p 60fps will be limited to those with the 5.0 firmware update using a PlayStation 4 Pro - you will be able to follow anyone's account, similar to the system on Xbox One. - minor changes include push notifications for events - spectator comments on screen while broadcasting in VR mode - the ability to link broadcasts to a PlayStation Community - support for seven more languages: Czech, Thai, Greek, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Romanian and Hungarian I wouldn't say this is a significant update for a .0 update if I'm honest. I don't have a Pro though so can't comment on that.
  22. Looking forward to grinding together for the next few years with you on Destiny 2, Chris. Now, do we all call you Sarge or Chris now cos you've officially said hi?! Maybe now everyone can either go by the name of Chris or Dave considering 90% of us are already? Via the FG App
  23. Erm. Okay. Wow. Got some tea lights anybody?
  24. They are going all out for this aren't they. First off, fidget spinners at GameStop for pre-ordering the game. Then we have Rockstar Energy drinks which will give you free engrams to decrypt. Next up is Pop Tarts for boost in XP. Fucking Pop Tarts. Honestly, I feel like I'm imagining this stuff. Now I found out today if you're a Virgin Media customer you get to have an exclusive Sparrow. Wtf?! Can't complain too much as I'm with them...for now. Tbh I feel like I'm waiting in anticipation for the next most random partnership to be leaked for some proper lolz. Anyway, at least I get to have a Sparrow [emoji23]
