  1. D.Va Changes Incoming The Overwatch meta is constantly changing and D.Va is getting a significant overhaul that will change her playstyle. Blizzard has been testing the changes internally but they will likely hit the next Public Test Region (PTR) release for the player to test. The planned changes will make D.Va less of a defensive tank and more of an offensive character. Her Defense Matrix ability has had its uptime length effectively halved by an increased energy drain. The Defense Matrix will remain an “extremely powerful tool,” according to Goodman, but will require a player to time it right. The lessening of the defensive ability gives rise to changes to D.Va’s Booster ability plus an all new Micro Missiles ability. D.Va will be able to fire her Fusion Cannons while using her Booster ability. Additionally, Overwatch players will need to watch out for the new Micro Missiles ability. The Micro Missiles ability fires a long salvo of small missiles to deal damage in a small area around the target. This can be used in conjunction with her other abilities or firing her Fusion Cannons, which should give opposing Overwatch players a reason to keep their head on a swivel. “Her new Micro Missiles ability in combination with her ability to fire while flying allow for some more aggressive play, as well as opening up some new options versus heroes such as Pharah,” Goodman explained.
  2. Some gameplay below of the new RPG in an open world called Biomutant. It does look different I have to say but quite endearing actually. Out in 2018 on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. They say you combine mutant powers, bionics and weapons which when you look at the video you could actually see this working well. Game trailer below
  3. I really wanted to give it a go but I'm on holiday on Friday for a week
  4. I was actually hoping that one of her colleagues would have a flicker of health so it could've linked to a new character in the future. That was my only added thought.
  5. I enjoyed that one. It was always leaves me wanting to watch a ton loads more of them.
  6. That's great, thanks Nick. I'll have to check out that Stone Cold story mode for him. He's only been playing quick 1v1 match and been doing better now he has things lower on difficulty. He struggles to get back in the ring when he's out though. The controls do feel clunky. I thought this for some time Is there a better Wrestling game thats easier on the PS4?
  7. How did ze day go Ricardo? Chop off any fingers with ze action board?
  8. Thanks for that Nick. I think playing Devil's Advocate with myself here, I possibly don't see the massive issue because I just haven't experienced it on PC. Still though, its not about if they can or can't for me. Look at it as if you have 10 tokens to spend on features. The full works for games lets say would cost 20 tokens. I just would focus my tokens on other factors in a game. How more amazing can a game look to make you love it? Via the FG App
  9. Unfuckingbeliveable. Australia got upset by a random pink sign in the map saying 'Take-Out'. They call it 'Take-Away' like we do in the UK. However, they were that pissed they took it to the Overwatch community and big Jeff apologised and agreed to change it in a forthcoming patch. What a fucking nonsense. It's not an Aussie game you dicks. Don't take time to change that shit, put dev work on the content asswipes. Via the FG App
  10. Good read. Thanks for sharing @J4MES OX4D. Genuine question - when was 60fps first available on games? Regardless of platform. One thing is for sure, Activi$ion get called out for their dollar dollar attitude within 12 months when we do have a 60fps version on console (thats my estimate), regardless of what we think now.
  11. Maybe that's the point though. I'm certainly not going to take sides with them on this, however we know development started on the game way before the Pro and Xbox One X existed or planned. I've been involved in these type of decisions before on projects. There comes a crossroads whereby they find out new info and have to make a choice; spend time stopping at starting from almost scratch for 60fps, or carry on the course. It has to be down to development time and the cost of the resources over that time and nothing else.
  12. Mark Noseworthy has given a more in-depth response to this debate for console and then links to PC in the last bits he states. His quote is below: "It’s about the simulation of the Destiny world. Thirty AI at once, large open spaces, six players, sometimes with vehicles, and dropships coming in; that’s where we’re using the CPU. Could we make a Destiny game that ran at 60 fps? Yes, but the space would be smaller, it would be less cooperative, and there’d be fewer monsters to shoot. That’s not the game we want to make. First and foremost, we’re trying to make an incredible action game. We don’t feel we’ve been held back by the choices we’ve made about world simulation versus frame rate; in fact, we think we’re offering a player experience you can’t have elsewhere because of the choices we’re making. But if frame rate is something that’s really important to you, there is a platform now where you can spend as much money as you want, to go as fast as you want." As much as it would be great to see 60fps on console, if it was a deal between framerate and content of enemies and battles then I choose the latter every time.
  13. Guys, is this still active? What does this have and used for? I clicked the link and it has 13 people in it, most I know. If someone can fill me in that would be great. I also want to ask if some of the others active on Steam can reach out to the others please. We should tell them we are more active on there going forward and to get their arses back online with us all. Via the FG App
  14. Brink is free to play on Steam as if today. The DLCs I think are on offer too for $1 each. Via the FG App
  15. Great update. 2 months rather than 3 months. Control games best of 3 rather than 5. PLACEMENT CHANGES! This should mean we place higher and much nearer to where we should be. We may need to wait longer for matches to get more 50/50 games but I'm pretty cool with that. Love fucking Blizzard. Their support to regularly update their game and then explain fully the reasons why its superb.
  16. Lesion looks like a really intersting Defender I'd probably use. The fact you can keep putting traps down as time goes on could be vital. Especially if you put a trap on every entry way to the Secure Area. The map looks ace. It's the first added map that I've been excited about. Maybe because of what it is but nonetheless its amazing they are still adding plenty of stuff to R6.
  17. It SHOULD be fine with Blizzard, Nvidia and Bungie around. However I was on about the actual third party developers, Vicarious Visions. They are the key people. The others mostly stick the money in. However, there's a lot at stake from a reputational view so I can see this being a success regardless of Day 1 bugs.
  18. Good luck Richyboi! Morning FG!
  19. Bart does make a good point. I wasn't a part of the really early days so I guess I don't have that much of a preference either way. I just want to see things interesting if I'm brutally honest.
  20. To be honest I remember @TigerBurge saying the first one was quite fun and relaxing. @Amnotright said a similar thing last night. I actually think the game will be a 'fun and friendly' game. Problem is most of us here aren't drawn to those games. We'd give them a go but it would get boring quite quick. I sort of see it as Overwatch Quick Play vs Competitive. Quick Play is fun, but no one can really be that arsed to play it and it doesn't push you to your limits. That's why competitive wins every time. I didn't like OW at all until lv25 and Competitive. If it has a competitive type scene then that keeps the game interesting.
  21. Did you see that they've actually confirmed AOE2 and AOE3 will be remastered?
  22. That was brilliant. It makes me wonder if we're getting a PvE mode with this by chance? A new map is well overdue anyway, with a game like this I think it needs to focus on a larger update that remains available as it just won't get the same play time once Destiny 2 comes out.
  23. I've never played one but I've always been interested in these games.
  24. The Blizzard partnership also means that you will get voice and text chat in-game as well as whispers. The Blizzard friend list will be available alongside the clan friends list.
