Its more the help that I need and FG needs. Having 'Champions' to help share news for certain games helps the overall site. Otherwise, its just a couple of us finding stuff unnaturally and creating threads to keep the place ticking over. These guys have an open pass to help engagement and activity on things Overwatch (and i know theres tons of stuff we could add) and its only one section. I really don't think its that hard but i must be missing something. Totally agree with trophies and medals though for everyone is more important - that gives everyone the chance to feel good about FG stuffs.

Prestige raid lairs and armor from Solstice of Heroes were not intended to be infusion fodder for two reasons: These items are intended to be trophies, for players to show their accomplishments leading up to Forsaken. If players who own Curse of Osiris but do not own Warmind use these items for infusion, any gear infused above 335 Power will no longer be available for use. Players who have already done this can claim a duplicate of their weapon from their Weapon Collections, which will become available to all players when Forsaken launches on September 4, 2018.] Personally, I get the MoT armour. The cap is there and the event is to focus just on this new gear. However, the raid weapons at 400...well, that felt like it was just cos they didn't have time to build more new weapons so opted for an easy answer. Plua to push prestige raids, which imo still need more rewards.

I think you could find one a little cheaper on eBay @Sennex. I've still got my original one but if I hadn't I would've took a punt on one there. Guarantees are good but most old consoles tend to be pretty solid and I've never bought any of my consoles with a guarantee. What I would say is you may just need to invest in another aerial or maybe even an older TV. Mine works currently but it sometimes can flip out on screen which I believe is to do with the TV more so. You have to get Crazy Taxi if you do btw.

I'll summarise what I've taken from this good discussion. We'll keep learning from how people post, existing and new. That's where all this stemmed from, so not a big issue. Not changed my stance as i said earlier: - We aren't going moderate differently - We always need to think how we post regardless of section - I'll move things as usual and give transaparent updates - We eventually need basic guidelines for newbies. This includes just how to interact with FG. - We will need a section for this stuff somewhere and when I've worked out how the overall structure looks I'll update it I sit here and just thought, biggest point for all to take away - It wouldn't have probably been talked about if we had more footfall and more posts on gaming and other general life stuff. If everyone got behind the FG bandwagon its all gravy, baby (as Romeo and Christina Milian once said) Normal business resumed. Thanks for the feedback. Always useful to know thoughts. I also won't lock this if others have more opinions. GGFG.

I know! Feels kind of weird saying it but whilst I have to accept the changing world of consoles, I'll also admit I really miss the original concept of a console having games that you can put in and play. They're just becoming glorified PCs.

When PSN went down the other day I watched Inglorious Basterds again and then finished off watching Bright. Inglorious is weirdly one of Tarantino's films I can watch as I think I just enjoy the deadpan humour in it. Even though not alot goes on in the middle. Bright I think I should've given it more time initially. It feels like you can be all over the place of you don't pick up the back story and world that its set in quickly. However, it totally sets itself up for a series after it. Weren't too bad for fantasy style movies.

Final Standings! Dan takes the win with an impressive flourish of points in the final 2 games. Phil came a valiant 2nd with Chris holding off Didds to take 3rd spot. Tbh this will play into your hands as there is a lot of points on offer for exploration activities. So if you can only pop on for an hour, set yourself a goal to get some Region Chests. There's a lot to find and they are always in the same place (symbols are on the map). This will give you some head start befofe the event comes at the end of the month.

Houndish's explains the Solstice mechanics pretty easily. If you don't watch it, essentially we'll have a ton of bounties to do which takes us back through missions that have been revamped and with different modifiers along the way. You are rewarded a set of armour as rewards and you keep upgrading thia armour as you do more bounties/objectives. End result is 400 Power armour with 3 different styles (the first 2 styles become ornaments so only need one set of gear). I'm glad they are re-using content in a different way as I miss the days of old where we had to re-run missions for dailies, etc. There's a chance that the Black Spindle quest/challenge could open up from one of these modified missions too.

This is what I hoped you'd say 😂 The only thing so far I have seen thst looks recycled is potential the Fallen Walker but it has a different shield on it. Suppose we'll have to wait to see what differences that has. As all the Barons are Scorn too, I'm really hoping the Baron Missions turn into replayable strike-type missions. Lots more variety in how Scorn react from what is shown in the video. Positive stuff.

I do too. I'm really glad we're seeing positive tweaks to IB as it tends to just be left as it is. Totally agree. They indicated that in how they explained it in last week's TWAB. I'm just hoping that there will be a few that can drop in the next few weeks so there is a few things to chase alongside Solstice of Heroes.

This for me however it is the first time that I feel like the next gen console isn't a given for me. This makes total sense. Although I do think the next jump in consoles will be the smallest in terms of actual differences to overall gameplay, etc.

I'm open to either way Dan - I agree though, @Plumbers Crack Dave's idea works well to start with. Personally I would love to have a UK one and a North American one. At the end of the day even if we can raise 20, 30, 50 dollars and/or pounds we're at least trying something to help good causes. What do others think?
