    I played it with Phil last Thursday and whilst it is basic, it was really enjoyable. Propee good laugh with 4 players for sure. Especially how we play. Its like a constant clusterfuck of zombies to kill.

    I don't really want to think or have much talk about what could've been better. We over analyse things in England far too much and are very critical 99% of the time. No one is perfect and the team that wins the World Cup won't be perfect either. For once, I just want people to leave it where we got to, be proud and get behind the team again. Also, at the same time we mustn't go stupid with our predictions and say 'we'll win the next 3 tournaments otherwise its a disgrace'. I'm going to watch the 3rd place play-off and cheering them on.

    I haven't much time to organise anything of late. I want to get something sorted and love seeing everyone together but I need support from more people.

    Agreed. Even if you did by accident! It would be nice to have a range of different themes tbh as its always something@diddums and I talked about ages ago. Any preferences on ones we can get hold of e.g. colour, size of font, etc?

    Great signing and incredible that Ronaldo still cost £105m and he is 33. Signing a 4 year contract as well so we're going to probably see him at the next World Cup at this rate. Miles better than Messi imo.

    Once Destiny Update 1.2.3 is live, the Exotic Catalyst for Sturm may be earned by defeating enemies on Nessus. Can't remember what the stat bonus is.

    Also in 1.2.3 the Momentum modifier will be removed from Heroic Adventures.

    With the 1.2.3 update on July 17th, once all Osiris Forge Weapons have been obtained they will become available for direct purchase. This helps if you've accidentally dismantled one of those guns in the past. Btw, as part of the Moments of Triumph, you need to obtain all 11 weapons in order to receive the Sagira Ghost shell (which looks amazing btw).

    In 1.2.3 for Iron Banner, the control points will now be Iron Temple Pits. Nice little addition even if it isn't a huge one.

    When 1.2.3 Update lands, weapon rewards become more deterministic which means the more times you complete it the more chance you have to get EP weapons. I still haven't finished one yet! [emoji85] Let's get some nights put aside to being around for one.

    As GuardianCon had the stream yesterday, dmg, one of the community managers released some early patch notes for 1.2.3 which lands July 17th. I'll add them in the relevant threads where i see the connections. Also, looking to get some raids back up and running again. I know everyone that wants to work towards their Moments of Triumph score will need at least a clearance in each one.

    Very similar to me Nolan, I had a night on Crucible with the 3x Valor on so that's helped a bunch. Heroic Strikes are the grind though.

    The first time Bungie have decided to change the way they view endgame activities. I can't hide that I'm not excited as it's one complete area that is not just for the raid. The best news of all which sounds 95% certain, is that the activities they have their are all for fireteams between 3 AND 6 players. That means for the first time we now actually have an area for PvE that we can get more than 3 in a fireteam and roll around exploring, jump into a raid and then do other activities as a group. Also, it won't be entirely open after the 'apparent end of the campaign'. It is also a place that evolves each week, which means certain environments will change, enemies should act differently or be more powerful and potentially different activities will be available. Petra Venj will be the World Vendor so a whole new set of armour and weapons to discover and obtain. I expect bounties to be available too. This is finally what we needed on a game that has alway been solid but lacking depth and not enough activities to keep a larger group together. There's more info coming out as well - apologies as I've been really busy to get this up. What do you guys think? Heard anything else about it too?

    So far what I can see, there are the following objectives: - Finish D2 Campaign - Finish Osiris Campaign - Finish Warmind Campaign - Collect all 45 Data Fragments on Mars - Obtain at least 25 Exotics (Armour & Weapons combined) - Obtain Sagira's Ghost (Grind all Osiris' weapons) - Reach Rank 50 with the Vanguard (Complete Heroic and Nightfall Strikes - Zavala vendor) - Collect all Region Chests (68 to find) - Defeat 100 Crucible Opponents - Complete 20 Adventures - Complete one Escalation Protocol - Reach Legend Rank in Valor (Quickplay) in Season 3 - Complete Leviathan - Complete the Raid Lairs There's 6 more hidden ones. One in the Activities section which is probably another treaure type hunt with Solstice. The others are specifically on the Event section - possibly a few PvE and PvP based on the colour of the emblems.

    September will also bring back Strikes to the Director and the entire director/milestones UI is being reworked. This is one of the most QoL updates I'm looking forward to the most. I hate that we didn't have a Quest tab and it wasn't clear what exciting things we had to grind. Now we'll have Triumphs and Collectibles tabs alongside similar displays we had in D1 where there are relevant nodes at the bottom of the screen relating to challenges. Also, you'll have a daily mission again (finally) and lots of other milestones we currently have will reset EVERY 4 DAYS. I think they can see that a large percentage of the population finish their milestones on reset day currently.

    Year 1 Triumphs have gone live from Bungie Day (7/7) which you can access on the Companion App or on Bungie.net. Looks like there's 400 points up for grabs and split into certain sections. There are main D2 targets, most of which are the collectibles. You then have other key objectives from the Solstice of Heroes Event that starts on July 31st, which is also the time when the rewards through getting points will unlock. The rewards are: Exclusive Ghost - 125 Points Unlock for Moments of Triumph Shirt - 250 Points Exclusive Sparrow - 300 Points 'Eternally Triumphant' Emblem - 400 Points I've always enjoyed these completion style activities. Last time out they didn't offer anything other than a shirt (which you have to buy so its nice to see a few in-game incentives to collect. It all ends October 1st I think but that's a little confusing as the Solstice event is on until August 28th. Quite a number of things to collect and explore as a fireteam together (like region chests) so hopefully they'll be a few on to run around with. Who's up for this?
