I like that they're doing videos to explain the update as well as patch notes. Bounties are a welcome addition so going to have a look around tonight. The Solstice of Heroes sounds good because of the 'new bosses' but we'll have to wait and see. Some of that gear looks epic though. Closer to the prestige gear that was in Wrath of the Machine. Btw, this update is free to all players. I get that having the DLCs though helps with the Power on the raids.

In terms of an 'issue' isn't one I don't think there is one as its a broader question - I mentioned to Phil some time ago I was thinking of removing it soon and this helps stem the conversation. Re: light touch - i can't see us changing that much tbh but at the same time you have to realise why its light touch. 1) we've built strong and positive friendships on here so we all know each others boundaries (well, most 😉), 2) we have mods but how much 'moderation' is actually done right now is extremely small. Like 0.03% of time, and 3) we just don't have the number of active posters right now. If we had more people here which I know everyone would love, you'll have more stuff to keep an eye on. We're a gaming family/community that needs more activity (well, i want it) and also want it to be a one stop for 'life' too as that's where a real family here goes further. If Reddit can do it, why can't we. P.s. for the record, i believe we can shit all over Reddit as what we stand for and what we've built is unique and simply awesome.

We are adults and we do need to understand that forums are here to capture opinions and have good healthy debates. If it was up to me, and I'll be totally honest here, I would've removed it completely some time ago. However, I know that we discussed this not long ago and there was a desire to keep the politics section over T&A. I'll always listen to the compromisable option as much as I can. That being said you can't keep everyone happy. Rob's suggestion is a good one and I'm considering going a little further as to having it a section where you 'opt-in' as an FGer. That way there is acknowledgement when you enter you know what you're going into ahead of the section. It also means it is ignored to other members, new and old, that don't want to see it or get involved. Equally, Phil's point is quite correct too. Moderation needs to be here across the entire of FG. Everywhere has this and I could go way further, including filtering out swearing, but I'm not quite there yet. This is a broader subject we'll pick up separately as Moderators need to be actively helping more on FG when this happens. We all must understand if we want this place to flourish and grow in an overall positive way, we just need some framework and guidelines. Otherwise, like anything without any structure or oversight it would fall to pieces. I'm open to hear more views. I want people to be aware at the same time please have FG's interests at heart.

GTA Friday took a hit last week because PSN being down. Hopefully no issues this week so ahead of the game, is there any other game modes or different races y'all wanna try?

I'd like to try it, i mean its CoD. We seemed to have a decent laugh when we play together on it.

I have no idea unfortunately Dan. I have still have the original PS4 and rarely have problems so there must be something that can be done.

I use the browser exactly like you do (that's why I've never understood how hard it is to check here if its your homepage or a window open 😆) I have the App to because I need to see if it's always working - it is good that you get a direct notification if someone quotes, mentions you or likes your post. It just misses all the work we put it on this tbh. Yep. I screwed which I apologise for. Not sure if I can reapply now if you still have the trophy. I just set up some new features active in case you didn't notice 😂 FG Gamerscore This is now a thing. You all accrue points. For posting, getting positive feedback, keeping your PPR up to date, creating Topics, making and posting videos, even just for logging in. We needed to reward you for coming here so I hope this helps towards being around. The Points or Gamerscore (if I can rename it) will link to a Members Shop in the menu. For now it has a fee things available but only when you get enough points. Essentially, you get rewards for contributing and keeping FG running. So start with 5k points you can claim an FG Mug and for 10k points you can claim a game voucher. Feedback is welcome as its something brand new we can work on. Trophies In a bid to keep you working towards goals, there are trophies for being around FG. Again a few to start with but obviously long standing FGers would have just received a shit ton of trophies as they've been here for a while. For newer people theres tons now to unlock as a nice incentive and will show up on your profile as a separate tab. Medals These will follow but can be given out by certain people to recognise their contribution to FG. First one will likely be linked to FGer of the Month, coming soon. Ranks Brand new ranks are now active (linked to trophies too) and will show on your profile. These are just connected to posts count which is extremely common across forums. 18 ranks up to 10k posts as a start. We'll see how this runs for a while. We'll also work on some graphics for trophies too and flesh out more stuff along the way. Keep the feedback coming people. We can build on this quite abit I'm sure. Thanks.

Remember, I don't fully know how we're perceived on the outside. I do really like it still and I know that sometimes it's just me getting used to differences. As long as people enjoy it thats all that matters to me.

I've wanted to do this for a long time so whilst we're doing some and changes it seems right to do it now. I want to have a dedicated charity partner, possibly a yearly thing that we can do some charity activity to link it to. I'd like suggestions on the idea and who you think we should start with. We'll then put a vote out. This doesn't mean we have a target or can't raise money for other charities either. It just gives some focus to doing some charity fun. Please get some ideas kicking below. Themes we now have people may not be aware of: Elegant - White background, main colour can be chosen by yourselves Chameleon Dark - Dark background, background pic can be chosen from a few options (i need a few more backgrounds if anyone wants to suggest one for it) 4.2 - The default them for the software with no logo Work - same as IPS default but with logo Carbon - An old theme we had for a bit not optimised or checked recently so may be errors Dreadnought - most recent theme and lots of features integrated that we need to see if possible to integrate on others As I say, will look for more but also need to focus on getting these working. Hopefully enough light and dark options currently.

Never heard of the guy. West Ham are such a strange club, always think where do they get their money from too @phil bottle. Funnily enough I never really see them spend good money either. I think the best signings they've ever had were the free Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano for a brief period (actually think tehy were loans but you know what I mean).

One theme over another shouldn't do that. @NCA-Paendrag You should see about 5 once you click 'Theme' at the bottom of the screen. I'll check to make sure they're available for all. Also, I still prefer Dreadnought but want to listen to the calls of changing up themes more often. @The3rdWalker glad you like it, I'm totally open to using the other logos. The only thing that makes me uncomfortable just using the infinity sign is if anyone new comes along do they know its us. Be nice to get a slogan at the top but at the same time its nice and sleek. We'll incorporate maybe a few more themes in the next few weeks - just be aware you have to then ensure every single theme available looks correct. Keep shouting up anything you see that looks off or could be better.

Agreed James, we've faded since half time against Croatia. We shown a glimmer of hope in the second half but Kane is tired and we needed him to be at his best to counter the brilliance of Hazard and De Bruyne. Utterly pointless game but you always had that internal hope they could beat the Belgians.
