  1. Lol, that Cat Ghost. The fact it has sticky tape is hilarious and shouts NEED ME. I'm looking forward to the variants of bounties it will bring. It's only here for 3 weeks so I'd like to get the most of out of it, especially as its free and being a magpie, I'm likely to want the Triumphs on offer too. We'll have to see what this Forest is about. It sounds like a 15-minute horde mode. Good break from different stuff but I think it's only out for 3 weeks for a reason. I'd be interested to see if it can be reused though. Would hate good fun content we all enjoy to not be available ever again. I want that gun too! If there's only one gun on offer (still more than other free events) then you'd expect it to be a pretty decent gun!
  2. Finally. Long time coming for people, especially Cepheus-X eh @crispymorgan? Would be funny to know what people would actually change their names to if they had the chance. Also, people randomly talked earlier about sticking an FG suffix in front of there names....would this actually be a thing these days? Genuine question - would we really do this? I'd do if people wanted to do it but I'm gonna come out nice and early and say this wouldn't ever be a 'requirement of FG'. May look cool, may look kinda funny. Definitely better than NWO though Euan @Chookes?
  3. Festival of the Lost begins for all players of Destiny 2 on Tuesday, October 16. “I’ll be damned if we’re gonna sit around and mope all day—Cayde woulda hated that. So let’s have some fun, huh? Put on this mask, and go show the bad guys they can’t keep us down.” —Amanda Holliday For Guardians, death is usually a temporary condition, no more dangerous than a splinter and forgotten just as quickly. Even after Eva Levante first brought the City’s traditions to the Tower with Festival of the Lost, it was less a time for remembrance and more of an irreverent celebration. The last year has changed everything. The Red Legion razed the Last City. Countless Guardians were lost. Despite victories on Mercury and Mars, morale in the Tower is low after the fall of a legend: Cayde-6. This year, death has not passed us by. It has come to stay. More than ever, it’s important to remember loved ones who have fallen, and to celebrate the fact that we have lived to fight on in their honor. Light in the Dark No one has heard from Eva Levante since the City fell. Shipwright Amanda Holliday has stepped up to raise everyone’s spirits. Thanks to her, the Tower is filled with merriment, as memories good and bittersweet fill our hearts. New Triumphs will be available for you to earn, and Holliday will offer daily bounties that award Fragmented Souls. These items can be used to purchase Festival of the Lost masks, as well as the Horror Story Legendary Auto Rifle. But even with the Tower illuminated by spooky violet candles, there's always something scary lurking just out of sight. Fear and Fright This year, Festival of the Lost brings more than just masks. For a limited time, all players of Destiny 2 are invited to the Haunted Forest. Guardians have been tasked with clearing out its ghouls and demons, which are spooking up a storm. You’ll have 15 minutes to dive as deep as you can into the Haunted Forest and clear out the Nightmares lying in wait. Be wary—the deeper you go, the more difficult your job will become. You can jump into the dark as a solo player, with a pre-made fireteam, or through matchmaking to join other Guardians in the fight. On the Case Most players of Forsaken have already won justice for Cayde-6. But near the conclusion of Festival of the Lost, they'll be called once again to avenge a fallen friend. Master Ives has been struck down. Maybe someone wanted to settle an old score, or lost their temper when receiving an Edge Transit. Whatever provoked the wrongdoing, justice must be served. This pursuit of Master Ives' killers will take place through a quest line, which adds an additional powerful reward for you to earn each week. The hunt begins on Tuesday, October 30. Treats for All Alongside the Festival of the Lost rewards from Amanda Holliday and the Festival of the Lost Triumphs, players will earn an Ephemeral Engram every time they fill their XP bar after achieving the max character level. Players will receive this engram in addition to the Steadfast Engram, which effectively awards players double Bright Engrams for the duration of Festival of the Lost. Players may also purchase Ephemeral Engrams from Tess Everis in the Tower, if they so choose. Tess will also feature rewards from the Ephemeral Engram on the Bright Dust store throughout the event, for those wishing to purchase specific items directly. Every Guardian is invited to shoot their way through the masquerade. Festival of the Lost begins on Tuesday, October 16, and concludes at 10 AM PST on Tuesday, November 6.
  4. Not at launch but when funds become available. We know we'd have fun on it here.
  5. Yes mate. Send me a message when you're on. I should be on both nights. I want to start farming Nightfalls for unique loot soon anyway.
  6. Golden and Retro my dear [emoji39] Like a fine wine.
  7. I can fully breathe around my beautiful array of CDs and Cartridges [emoji847] That's the real issue with Digital anyway, you pay more for a copy that is made of thin air when the shiny packaging and box with CD comes to you cheap as chips. People like collecting Vases, Pictures and Cat Statues. I like collecting games. I can then use said game in my consoles. Definitely more value for money for me. I think we're nearly at the stage where Day One to play is actually Day Two. Good job I'll be looking to purchase later down the line, hopefully this year though.
  8. Lolz. I purposely left you out to see how long it would take you to realise this! [emoji23][emoji23] You didn't have a choice, it's PvP, so you'll play regardless [emoji39][emoji8]
  9. Good to hear so far then! I just don't think we do a lot of private/custom stuff in recent years and we really should. It's the balance between having time to progress your own Guardian with just having a night of pure fun and banter. I think we could make a good few teams up and as long as people are up for a good laugh and not too sweaty this would totally work. Need to check if you can restrict to specific guns, etc.
  10. Morning all. Just a little note out there to say keep the ideas coming in if you have any. I plan to add sections and do a general clean up this week as its been a while.
  11. LOL. You did Mourinho a favour there mate! Honestly, they need to rebuild the state of the club and so it needs to show some morals of sorts. Even if it's not Mourinho, they need to give a manager 3-4 years at least.
  12. Still not sure what's happened. Says McGregor lost but then people saying the other guy has been DQ'd?
  13. A PvPvE one would be pretty cool. I'd look forward to that but equally whenever you say it's ready, we can book some time in to go hunting.
  14. Nice to hear! Make sure you do play some more of it, I'd be interested to know what your best and worst bits are about it as Forsaken takes the game to a whole new level.
  15. They've just confirmed Blackout will be capped at 120fps. My initial thought was that it's gotta get to 120 first! I do want it to be good though. I feel most others feel the same even if they don't say it. Everyone wants their "old" CoD back.
  16. From Masterwork cores from Spider bounties to Lost Sector names over them once found these are fantastic QoL updates we probably didn't expect this soon. I also think the Nightfall Unique Strike Loot increased chances after each NF is a great addition - this should be something that people should chase more often, some great new weapons added into that pool.
  17. So October has 2 patch updates - both have some really good underrated Quality of Life changes you should know about. Festival of the Lost also starts 16th October. Patch 2.0.4 - October 16th Added the ability to hover over Lost Sectors to see their name once a player has looted them Players can now track up to three pursuits Added Through Fire and Flood, Zenobia D, and Crooked Fang-4fr to the world Legendary pool— Edge Transit will have some company Increasing Scout Rifle damage in PvE and against non-player enemies in Gambit Fixed a bug where Prime Engrams were going straight to the Postmaster at the end of Crucible matches; they will now show alongside other end-of-match rewards Added transmat effects to Collections, under the Flair category Tracking for acquired transmat effects began with the launch of Forsaken on September 4; transmat effects gained (inventory or Postmaster), used, or dismantled after that date will be unlocked in Collections Transmat effects are unlocked when added to player inventory, NOT when you gain ships that have them pre-socketed We have identified a very rare issue where the Gambit invasion portal will not reactivate once used, and we are currently developing a fix We are developing a fix for an issue where One Thousand Voices may cause loud screeching audio when fired while strafing or jumping Patch 2.0.5 - currently planned for October 30th Rebalancing functionality of Distribution/Dynamo perks, requiring players to be near opponents for Super energy benefits Slightly increasing Sword damage in PvE to address player feedback Slightly increasing Fusion Rifle damage in PvE Increasing viability of Malfeasance in PvE and Gambit activities Adjusting visibility of the Titan’s Banner Shield, making it easier for players to see through the effects Adjusting Exotic rewards to help reduce the number of duplicate drops Players may still receive duplicates, but there will be better chances for Forsaken exotics when receiving Exotic rewards The chance for a Nightfall Unique Reward to drop will increase each time a Nightfall is completed without a unique drop Adding Masterwork Cores as rewards for specific Spider “Wanted” bounties and general Scrapper bounties Reducing the time for single-shader deletion from your inventory We are developing a fix for an issues where a team will defeat the Ascendant Primeval Servitor, but the opposing team receives credit for the kill
  18. Been thinking for a while as many of us are on Destiny atm, we should take advantage of Private Matches every now and again. If you do let us know here and also what type of things would you want to play? White guns only? Shotguns only? Supers only? Survival? Control? Also, if we had enough interest we could a few teams of 4 together and little internal tournament if you guys wanted to? We'll definitely do this when Gambit Private Matches come along but this could be a good laugh in the meantime. Thoughts everyone?
  19. I didn't watch both games but I have seen Salah this year and I called it early doors that he felt like a one season wonder. He doesn't look anywhere near his best and they need that extra magic sometimes to get through games like Napoli. I just wonder when it comes to the crunch who will step up for Liverpool now.
  20. This looks incredible. Definitely have to make that a fortress Phil!
  21. I don't think he'll go. I'd actually like them to persist with him for the whole season though. They have to get back to finding someone they can back and stick with through thick and thin. I do believe they'll get back on track. They have enough quality to turn it around.
  22. I think @amnotright and @stretch616 are watching it. I hope McGregor wins actually. Whilst the guy has a 26-0 record, the sport needs him to shine.
  23. Update anticipated to be on October 30th, will make a number of changes to Gambit: ☆ Sleeper ammo reduced from 4 to 2 ☆ Sword ammo increased from 6 to 12 ☆ Malfeasance boss to spawn more regularly across the board. Will be still less in weakest and middle curse weeks. Week 3 will be far more often ☆ Vanity items that were guaranteed drops from subsequent Malfeasance bosses now won't be a guaranteed drop ☆ Quitter penalties re-enabled, however will be a few more games before penalties are incurred I think these changes are a good start. Not ground-breaking by any means but they shouldn't be as the game mode has been relatively successful. Sleeper changes will be welcome, I think this will mean we see far more snipers and rockets going forward - I actually fancy getting Merciless out for the boss for a change. Any thoughts?

I'm tempted. Glad I haven't got funds atm or it would be mine already. I've been itching for us to have a proper FG Pro Clubs team here, especially because we have quite a lot that enjoy footy games and others that could bring some newbies into the FG fold.
  25. I'll try and give it another go over the weekend. Maybe on my own though to see if my concentration levels do any better.
