  1. Looking Back Don’t blink too fast or it’s gone. Oh, sorry. Already has. Well, that’s how I felt anyway. And from the sounds of it most of you all did too. - Robbie Coltrane. Due to our average age currently at 36 and the many personal IRL things that have happened to many of our family this year I’m not surprised to say that games this year didn’t bring the best out in us. More so reminded us of a time that we thought we were invincible playing MW2 or even early parts of Destiny 1 in the newer era smashing raids out of the park. So you have to keep moving. Let’s face it, I’m friends with every single one of you for your company, great banter and the odd occasion where golden MLGpro360noscopeskillz come out, so I can say ‘I was there’. That’s been difficult for even me this year. Motivation when things are quiet are always hard and even more so when you gather energy to go again, only to bumped back by a personal loss. But we all hold each other up, like the absolute Champions that you are. And amidst all the anguish and despair some encountered, we’ve still created lots of stuff to do, fun and ‘Feel Good’ moments for as many as we could last year. In facts we had: 9,452 posts posted 802 topics created 30+ Videos made by you and uploaded 5 Quizzes you’ve got involved in 40 Events created and attended 2 Crispy Controllers fixed External Hard Drives, Multiple PS4 Games, PC Game Codes, Annual DLC Passes and 1 very shiny state of the art PC from the Forever Gaming Feel Good Fund (FGFGF) 1 very big FG Meet Up If I didn’t mention two things in more detail before we move on, that wouldn’t be quite right. The first was how everyone rallied around for our favourite part of the furniture, PlumberDave. Being able to chip in together, buy the parts we could and have an amazing trip to Ipswich to surprise our awesome friend was a moment to treasure (last time amazing and Ipswich go together though, sorry Dave). And finally for 2019, there was the first ever Huge FG Meet Up organised, in a remote location in Hereford. To have over 20 people come from all over the UK and even other countries too was truly incredible. We don’t take enough time to look back at these wonderful moments, so please do this more often. I don’t think anyone couldn’t get an amazing boost from the memories made on that weekend. If you didn’t make it…let’s hope and work out ways you can get on to the next one. Make it happen. Giving Something Back To Gamers As the last decade departs, I’m such a big believer and getting off your arse and doing better than last time. There’s some amazing facts shared above and you were incredible in 2018 too, actually even more so which can remind you that we are capable of so much more than what we do today. - Germany Kent We’ve had for a while an identity crisis, not dis-similar to some games out there ironically. This ‘thing’ that we/you do here is a pretty cool gig if you ask me. So if someone asked me to put ourselves out there even more, I say yes. Yes we should. We must. Forever Gaming is you. And all of you deserve to leave a Legacy. Something to be proud of. ‘Giving Something Back To Gamers’ is what we do best. We’ve helped so many people that we must continue to help as many more as we possibly can and spread what FG is all about. The Feel Good Fund couldn’t do as much as we wanted too last year and that’s okay. We have to find different ways to raise funds and ask people to help others. At the same token, I want to gain more support. This does mean more funding because I don't want us to be in a position to not things like Xmas Giveaway (because we didn't raise anything) but also there are many other ways to support. Creating events is helping as much as putting a fiver in to help someone out. Creating spaces for gamers to get together is something we should do more of and join in. We’re not scary, well not much anyway, and you guys can teach a whole load of people about some new skills to learn or hidden items to find. We need to create new videos to show this. Things that anyone can be a part of. The base of games out there on consoles and PC I feel is in a decent state right now. Some really solid titles since September and some long-standing ones mean we can do a whole lot more this year than before. So we have this place and I want to utilise more of it. I want you all to utilise more of it - but I need all your help. If theres something you think you can help out with, shout up. If you don't really know what but you are still really keen to get involved in any way SHOUT UP. Let's make: More Posts More Articles More Videos More Quizzes More Events More Giveaways More Feel Good Moments More Streaming More Helping Let's start Giving Something Back at FG. #GGFG
  2. Yes, I've been told multiple times now by Breadcake @MrBiron as well. I'll correct where I can 😘
  3. It's #FGTBT Time! Yep, Throwback Thursday is back and we've got two good ol' Nade First Blood multikills. @TigerBurge Chris with a triple Hail Mary way back from the Modern Warfare 3 days, followed by @Diddums Dave throwing his usual party popper for the quadkill on Black Ops 3! Got any more that you wanna share? If you are an old or new FGer please get in touch as we want to spread the fun around even more this year 😎 I better go and practice my throwing skillz 💣💥
  4. We've had a little revival of late which has great fun playing some games on it. Wednesdays I have football from 8-9 so i struggle to get afterwards but if i can get home quick enough and have enough energy in the bank then i can join between 9.30 and 10. I think we should still try get a big enough squad together though considering how many hours we sunk into it last time round. It all eventually comes back after a few games...well, kind of 😀
  5. Absolutely Dave, would be good to get a few on freeview at some points where there may be a film showing on a Friday or Saturday night 👍 And yes to John Wick 3! Even if I watched it last week 😂
  6. Cheers for that Greebs 👍 I think each Friday we'll have to check Netflix, etc and as long as they're easily available, we can put 3 in a poll for a few days whilst we have a list.
  7. Honestly Brede, The Sundial bit confuses me. Haven't took much time to figure it out as I like the Obelisk bounties better. Ah my bad...but still awesome 😎 Sorry Kempy 😂😂 Clive, @Teenwolf25 do you think we can try a CoS end boss fight on Thursday?
  8. @Spacedeck , @techno thanks for checking. Annoyed that Netflix showed Lock Stock that's available on their website but it really isnt. Changed to Now You See Me just for this week 👍 Enjoy!
  9. Welcome to FG Miles! Sorry to hear you were in a crash of some kind...hopefully not too much lasting damage? I wouldn't worry though, you couldn't have found a better dysfunctional bunch of people if you tried 😀 Hopefully we'll cross paths on Destiny at some point, we've just started to have a little bit more interest and completions as a clan so if you're willing to be patient and have fun then they'll always be space at FG. You must like racing games then too eh? A few of us have enjoyed GT Sport of late too if you fancy joining in one night? Good to have you on board and I hope you enjoy your stay 😎
  10. EDIT: Had to change from Lock Stock as it wasnt available anywhere contrary to Netflix website. IMDB Score: 7.3/10 Trailer: Release Date: 2013 Available on Netflix. If someone can check Sky Cinema that would be great too. A real underrated film. Some top actors and actresses too.
  11. We need to pick this back up and stick with it as we literally did it for 2 weeks! We all watch so much these days we need to do this all together far more often. Like the original idea @Diddums raised some time ago, let's stick to films over 1 year old so that they're easily accessible via whatever subscriptions you own. Rare exceptions where possible. Remember, idea is to all watch it at some point in the same week so we can talk spoilers had best/bad bits together. Monday through to Sunday. Each Monday we can select a new film. If possible we could quick polls on Fri to Sun beforehand with a selection before we know on Monday what's we'll try and watch. I'll pick first one up as we're already on Tuesday! Here it's a quick link Week 1 2020 Any more ideas for films initially, just add them below! Also let us know who's getting involved in this below too 😎
  12. Managed to complete a few more Scourge of the Past raids this past week. Nice one to Gary @techno for persisting with the boss phases when it was the first time he'd tried it. With how many of us were trying new roles we did really well to get 2 completions done. Chad @Riff Machine finally got his Anarchy and @Kemp210 still didnt get his Threat Level 😂 Great to see Sam @Capn_Underpants get to do the orbs at the end so she now knows every bit (you can solo it now surely?! 😉) and finally getting Ian @Ghost_town_535 into these raids was great to get more of us online. @Shucker , I heard you got your first one done last week too? Cheers for all the effort in being available for some raids. I think the weekend has started to be more popular for these so if others are around we can try certain sections of raids now we have more than 6 on every week that are willing to try them out.
  13. I think the links arent well explained imo. Essentially, this season allows you to do activities to get specific loot from each obelisk. 2 ways to do it - 1, do timelost bounties for said specific weapon (bought from each obelisk) or 2, link the obelisk you want a weapon from. I'm not sure if it gives you all timelost weapons too or if it's what you've unlocked/obtained already. I think they wanted to see what people would do and how they would go for the weapons available.
  14. I was a little worried to start with, can't lie because I thought it wouldn't grip me in and it was just another shoot zombie game that i wasnt that bothered about. But it really isnt. It's actually more intense than anticipated and working as a group is really fun, the hordes come in as actual hordes and take your breath away. For a £12 game now, it's been well worth it so far. Need to try out MP soon but I'm just enjoying co-op campaign missions atm and theres scope to enjoy them more with 5 grades of difficulty.
  15. How many series have been commissioned for this? I started picking it up over the weekend and had to finish it yesterday. One of those that you just need to keep pressing 'next episode'. Really good series with some great leads. Yennifer grew into the role throughout and Ciri I think will grow into a great character come follow on series.
  16. This Brede. I cba to meddle with my clock so just keep fast travelling. It's a known issue that we should hear when a fix is on the way by next TWAB post on the 9th Jan.
  17. Went to watch 1 quick episode last night and ended up watching 3 as it made me totally lose what time it was. If I hadn't have read that people said there were flashbacks I would've only realised last night. It only starts to become apparent in Episode 4/5. Superb series so far and he is absolutely the right man to play Geralt.
  18. Nice spontaneous raid last night people. Really quickly done and only one wipe at the final boss stage on Scourge of the Past. I think that sparrow part is gonna be the death of me and others...Kempy with your bloody tractor trying to turn corners like an arctic lorry 😂 I'm not getting much damage with Darci so I need to work on just how to activate properly at still(ish) targets. I dropped the rare Threat Level shotgun from the boss which was ace, not sure if anyone else got Anarchy? Oh, and awesome first completion for Sam too. Cheers everyone and especially Clive @Teenwolf25 for helping explain the raid mechanics again. @Kemp210 @Riff Machine @Capn_Underpants @reaper-2201
  19. No we have. A boiler fried and we also lost power to everything at the mains. I'm lucky as I have family who do electrics and a family friend who does Gas. It doesn't always work out this lucky though, so I'm trying to more show you theres people that see different views...and if you can get into them you could spread your product much wider. 👍
  20. I agree with you but as we know, this point is extremely hard for millions and trillions of people to work out. All boils down to Priorities. Money will always revolve around that.
  21. I've heard we've managed to get a few raids done as a clan over recent weeks so top effort for that. Heres to getting some more planned and different ones to try out. I think @Teenwolf25 @reaper-2201 and @Kemp210 have got Scourge of the Past nailed down now so we can run that as a group which is a great one to learn and one of the best. How many feel comfortable in knowing what to do on Crown of Sorrow and Garden of Salvation raids? I did all but the end boss on CoS and I've done nothing in the Garden one.
  22. For some yes. Its semantics though as a tenner a month isnt for the same people. I think Elliott highlighted how some people think which is good to know when you market a service because if it doesn't hit the mark for some reason, it may be down to how the price has been explained.
  23. That's a good point, some people think annually and a 3 figure sum is a bitter pill a lot of the time to people across the country (Not the London folk though I imagine).
  24. Only if I saved something in return. However, my attitude to risk is far different to others. I dont have many insurances, etc because my attitude is I look after stuff and eventually when things run out I've saved the money that would pay for the replacement or new parts. What would be good to know is if the 'early signs' would give the customer a discount or free fixing to said issues that have been spotted? Also, a lot of people these days use mates rates with gas and electrics. Not so much water though. Would most here know what to do if there was an issue on their boiler? Or water mains? I suppose your question leads me to other questions which always means it's a good one.
