  1. News just broke. Expected Suicide.
  2. WHAT?!?!? Have you been targeted by randoms wanting you to watch porn or something?
  3. I'll buy this just for the cinematics. I really hope the incredible cinematic can translate into awesome gameplay.
  4. I still don't have a feeling that wants to watch it. Shame as I grew up watching them with my Grandad and a number of the old ones were iconic when they were made.
  5. Congrats Rob @The3rdWalker !!!! I gotta say I'm blown away to see that. You've got your head down, worked your ass off in that community, built what you wanted to build and seen it succeed in ridiculous amounts. You deserve it mate. It's easy to forget the dark quiet days here at FG and you stuck around and helped out a lot and I can't thank you enough for that. The logo still is a fitting choice for this place. Good luck on continuing to build on your CCS League mate ❤
  6. Ace @phil bottle, i've done the £1 thingy. If i upgrade to the Ultimate as per below, does that mean i'd have to pay 10.99 per month after the first month? A little confusing if you ask me.
  7. Eh? Thats crap. We should coerse the staff that matter over here and concoct a masterplan to sort the game out once and for all.... 😎
  8. Don't overthink it @IRaMPaGe , just keep playing the game and pressing Share and Square at the end of the match! Honestly, you'll start enjoying your clips again because you'll see the differences between games you've recorded.
  9. It's quiet over at BioWare and just as they were starting to get canned about the current game still having Christmas decorations up, this happens... So now we have a reboot. Fair play as I thought it was completely dead in the water for a second (as @Diddums keeps reminding me) and lets face it, I wasn't ever a fan of this but to be impartial to Destiny type games I hoped it would do okay at the very least. This confirmation was the reason I got my wife to buy it as a Christmas present at £4.99. It might be the cost of a pint wasted but if they can pull off anything near what No Mans Sky did, I would rather own the game for a pint now, than have to buy the game for a full round of drinks. It will be interesting to see what EA have said to BioWare and how they will 'support' this development. I think the amount of players left on the game probably warrants why they might as well get rid of Seasons indefinitely if they can't get a significant amount of people playing the game. What do you reckon? I mean, if a company will fix the game, for free, then I can't really have a go at them. Especially for a pint of Stella Artois.
  10. I had a really good chat with a representative from Mind and we firstky need to associate ourselves nationally or locally. I think its likely we would go nationally because we are everywhere, but that doesn't mean we can't help local Mind locations. If we do go locally we would create a page here to see where our funds go - https://cwmind.org.uk/fundraising/fundraising_events/ Events and Challenges Ideas - https://cwmind.org.uk/category/fundraising-events-challenges/ They also have Wellbeing Hubs where people socialise, get support and build friendships. Avid gamers access these services too.... - https://wbc.cwmind.org.uk/coventry-wellbeing-hub/ and https://cwmind.org.uk/asd-social-clubs/ I've also attached the Fundraisers guide if you want to read up more for further ideas. We need to start thinking about how we do this. I think 2 ways to look at it are 1) raise money by doing something between us all and/or other people outside of FG, and 2) Raising money to build or buy something tangible that we could go to a day to support a local Hub or offer assistance to people that need it most that doesn't handing over physical money directly. Has anyone had any more thoughts on these activities? I will give it some more thought myself, especially the Hub and whether we could do something there and then even offer an outlet to ourselves afterwards so they continually have that helping hand. I'm all ears FGers! MIND Fundraisers Guide.pdf
  11. IMDb Score 6.9/10 Trailer: I think we needed a Comedy this week after I didn't get chance to put a film up for last week (sorry about that). One of the iconic roles Will Ferrell has played to date. Its also available on Netflix. Watch it this week and write back your reports! Good bits, bad bits, overall opinions all welcome! Get involved will ya 👍
  12. Well, its been 3 months since my Grandad passed away and its been very surreal time for me. For those that don't know, who haven't read my PPR, he was essentially my Dad. Lived with him all my life until I met my wife and always remained close to him. Without me knowing, you guys did what you always do best - you jumped to surround me, look after me when I felt quite lost and being great friends whenever I needed it. Exactly what you'd expect family to do. But you also gave me an opportunity to always have him remembered, by me, my family and everyone else that he helped along his journey. For that, i'll be eternally grateful to you all. The tree and plaque you all contributed to will be placed at the Cricket Club down the road from where we lived. It was where I played all my cricket through the early years and where he was right by my side. I wanted to put this up when I had the plaque in my hands (came Friday) and was very apt timing, because this Sunday the family met up for a special meal - his last wish rather than have his money spent on a funeral. It was a great day, and great memories made. Even better when I could show some family members what all of YOU guys and girls did. I didn't need more reasons to keep this place going but just when I needed it, its perfectly timed, like always. Thank You will never be enough. One last note is I want you to know that i'm getting better - He's always with me when we play. He sits below me, every night we game together and when I post on FG like right now. I'm going to keep it that way because he made me believe never to give up on things. Like this place. GGFG
  13. 100% agreed but his business model as gotten them this far, no need to update the nice bits we all want if they dont bring in more business.
  14. I suppose I just never have noticed it because it is such a clusterfuck of a map that whenever we've played on that map even in previous games I have literally no expectations from what comes out of it. I think its seeing the positive in the map - Great for shotgun medals and potentially some killstreaks for certain challenges.
  15. Glad that makes 3 of us 😃😂
  16. Awesome to hear Dave!
  17. Have you got any devs to respond to your views about bikes or helicopters @phil bottle?
  18. @IRaMPaGe clip was great, little clips like that are ace to send across to Rich but also what Rich says above is also true and probably easier cos then you don't have to 'time' it, just whenever the match has finished and you know you had a good one or two clips within it just save the last x minutes. You can trim it later on or split it using Share Factory on the Playstation.
  19. I get that....but the map is 6 x 6 inches in size. You can't take this map seriously, its just a fun clusterfuck for 60 seconds before the game is over super quick.
  20. Makes sense to me that he's probably achieved all the things he wanted. It is difficult to know where Rockstar will now go to be honest as GTA 5 holds up really well in the current industry. I feel they'll want for next gen and see what they can muster up. Ideally these days they need to focus on one game that can just keep giving out the content to gamers, but i can't think they won' be able to get the same feel like GTA 5 because the sheer amount of updates since launch make it a hard one to beat.
  21. I had that same feeling around the plot. It was like having a decent war film journey but I haven't a clue on what I'm actually trying to do, other than stay alive and beat ze germans. Good take mate.
  22. Shut up you hairy fanny. People still haven't got into their groove yet and it's only just turned Feb. You know where I am on Weds so pick a different day if needed. Get your head out of your negative arse and start doing something about it! 👊😘
  23. I personally think you've got to be in for the long game with Star Trek. It isn't all over the place series and that's okay for me. But get its not for everyone.
  24. Good game to watch from a neutrals POV. Great debut volley goal for the dutch Spurs guy.
  25. My only thought is wherever we all meet up, which is usually @Diddums house 😎 I'm not the best cultural person to follow for places to visit but I think its always worth a day out at the National History Museum. Also, do you or/and your kids like Harry Potter? Even if not, the Studios isn't far away from London and its incredible. Such a great day out.
