*Dad is here, quick, quick don't say shit about Destiny!!*
A few things to say on it - I'll try and keep them to a point to help the thread keep moving π
- Whatever game or games that could be the constants, they must be well supported by more than one person. We need people to help galvanise groups, create events, fun activities, etc. We lack that across the board for ages and it's why people get turned off cos they have no one to play with or not a clue what to do on their own. We make any game enjoyable in a group. It needs more than one/two people to do this shit. Period.
- We will still get burnt out on games. That's why we need to be willing to play more than just 1 game, and get involved. We had some great routines of dipping between Destiny, Overwatch and CoD over the years and that works. Standard.
- Games with c.6 people in a group is the ideal. Any less, we struggle because someone misses out or I'd argue those games will always pick up the drought when everyone cant be on.
Outside of those points my thoughts dont change much from what is mentioned above.
Destiny 2 - stuff doesnt matter is largely cos it's not knowing what to do or aim for. We have to remember it now answers the content drought on why we stopped playing Destiny 1 (which is why I cant see D1 as viable cos you'll quickly realise there isn't much to do). No other game evolves weekly that us as accessible as Destiny 2 on console.
However, people need direction on what's available, (shit loads we all never did and tried) and also need to have patience on working together in raids. Also, main game is free, which is a quick way to help new people - and we will have to help them.
Division 2 - 4 player mode but with 8 player raids (2 now I believe). Quite abit to learn and configure on builds. New update gives more space to do stuff. Its Destiny in third person with more focus on tactics.
Rainbow 6 - FPS PvP is what we're all good at. This is arguably still the best on the market. Needs patience and game mode wont always suit everyone but that's why I suggest the below one too.
CoD MW - FPS PvP that you don't have to think as much as Rainbow 6. This newest one has longevity. More people like it here than not. Its adding new modes over time AND FG was created from a CoD background. We need ideas for goals and challenges though to keep it fresh.
I can't stress enough though, that we need the early points I raised being answered and multiple people to step up if we want to create something really enjoyable and fun for all.
