    An awesome clutch 😎
  1. Well lets face it, Coronavirus has pretty much pushed back every game so far so you'd hope this is the case, but this is Destiny and it'll always have bugs here and there. I'm disappointed but ain't shocked I mean, for them to make the current season in lockdown on time was impressive. Just a shame we have to wait a few months. I'm really hoping they can release something in Sept or Oct.
  2. Full detail below: We have made the decision to move the release of Destiny 2: Beyond Light to November 10. As the first chapter in a new trilogy of expansions, Beyond Light is the beginning of a new era of Destiny 2. We have a powerful story to tell and incredible new features that we're really excited for players to experience. As always, our goal is to make the coolest, most entertaining expansion we can possibly make for our fans. To that end, we are doing what’s best for the game and moving the launch date. The past few months have been a challenge and will continue to be during this pandemic. We’ve learned to create together in a new way, by having to work apart from one another. Despite these hurdles, we’re still committed to the same level of quality that our fans expect. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be unveiling more of what we’re working on for Beyond Light and what that also means for Season of Arrivals, which will now extend to November 10. Beyond Light sets the stage for an incredible future in Destiny 2 and, though it’s coming later than we originally anticipated, we’re excited to continue that journey with you this November.
  3. Totally with the 2 week cycle. It might mean we struggle to catch you two as you'll be able to put more laps in but it'll give me and George time to at least participate. Hopefully when life calms down abit we can get back to weekly stuff. Here's hoping more should get involved too because at the very least GT Sport is cheap enough and worthwhile picking up if you like any sort of cars/racing.
  4. NOTE - MAKE SURE YOU TURN THE GAME ON AND GET INTO THE MENUS AS YOU MAY HAVE AN EXTRA MAP PACK DOWNLOAD TO GET!! CoD is a nightmare for this!
  5. 1.41 Update is now live for Consoles. PC went live a few weeks ago. Big bits in here is the brand new trial PvE mode and Dual Wielding is live! Full Details below: HIGHLIGHTS Dual Wielding – Double the gun, double the fun. This Update brings the long-awaited Dual Wielding feature, available when using two identical handguns. Trials Mode – You have asked, and we listened! We are happy to introduce the first iteration of our PVE mode – Trials! Explore the maps, complete difficult challenges, and collect Trial Stars for exclusive rewards. New Legendaries – The update brings three shiny new Legendaries as well as two other exclusively unlockable with the Trials Mode! Dual WieldingDual Wielding Handguns is a new and exciting feature in Hunt:Showdown, allowing players to equip and use two handguns at the same time. All available handguns that can be used for dual-wielding: Pair of Nagant M1895 Pair of Nagant M1895 Silencer Pair of Caldwell Conversion Pistol Pair of Caldwell Conversion Chain Pistol Pair of Caldwell Conversion Uppercut Pair of Caldwell Pax Pair of Caldwell Pax Claw Pair of Bornheim No.3 Pair of Bornheim No.3 Extended Pair of Nagant M1895 Officer Pair of Nagant M1895 Officer Brawler Pair of Lemat Mark II Pair of Dolch 96 Equipping Every Handgun can be equipped for dual-wield as a "matched pair". A second handgun of the same type can now be added to the same weapon slot. The slot will convert to medium size when the second pistol is equipped. It is possible to mix normal and Legendary versions of the same type as matched pairs. Dual Wielding is available from Rank 1 and does not require any unlocks via Traits. Equipped weapon pairs can not be broken up while playing; you are committed to use them as pairs until extraction. When looting a dead Hunter, you can pick up their dual-wield sets just like you would any other medium-sized weapons. Shooting Weapons have to be fired in sequence one after the other. The rhythm is dictated by the shooter, allowing players to experiment. Hunters can either go for a steady, constant fire-rate or try faster two-taps with longer breaks in-between shots. Recoil is increased over single-handed handguns, making it harder to stay on target (esp. with more powerful handguns). Effective rate of fire is increased, but still lower than the rapid burst from a single-action revolver using fanning. Aiming Aiming Down Sights (ADS) will only apply a slight zoom, with the guns moving a bit closer to the center of the screen. Weapon Sights are not used at all, reducing range drastically over other weapons. Dual-wielding accuracy only benefits minimally from crouching (just like with Fanning and Levering Traits). Reloading Weapons are reloaded at the same time in sequence, one bullet at a time. Extra ammo pools are added up. New Trait added: Ambidextrous Available for 3 Upgrade points Available at Bloodline Rank 44 "Quicker reloading of matched pairs, and custom clip reloads for semi-auto pistol sets." Developer Note: With this update, we are finally releasing a feature that we had on our roadmap for quite some time! Dual-Wielding aka Akimbo. It's a major upgrade for all handguns, allowing them to be used in a completely new way. So far, players could choose to fire them conventionally - or by unlocking the Fanning trait - as rapid-fire single-action revolvers from the hip. A third option now becomes available by choosing to equip not one, but two into one slot. Where shooting a handgun normally is best for precision, and using fanning or rapid-firing a semi-automatic pistol gives a short burst of impressive firepower up-close, dual-wielding sits somewhere in the middle between them: Not as precise and not as fast, but with double the ammo capacity, perfect for suppressing fire or taking on hordes. Now, why would players want to equip a matched dual pair of handguns? We think there are a number of different appealing scenarios here. Firstly, the option is available from Rank 1 on and doesn't require any traits. You just have to combine it with another medium slot weapon, like a sawn-off shotgun or rifle. This makes a pair of dual-wield Nagant M1895 the strongest rapid-fire option for new players right out of the box. Secondly, it gives players impressive firepower to deal with mobs and to take part in prolonged fire-fights. Having double the extra ammo capacity means you can keep on firing for a longer time while keeping the enemy away from that window or that corner, allowing your team to take the initiative and move around more freely. While accuracy is much reduced, even only hitting the 3rd or 4th shot still hurt, and those lucky headshots are still a very real possibility. Lastly, when assaulting a strongpoint, such as a boss arena, dual-wielded handguns are much more flexible compared to Fanning as they reach out to more than double the average effective combat range, allowing you to fight along corridors or inside larger rooms where Fanning shots would prove less effective. Dual-wielding brings a new component to Hunt's gameplay. Some will love it for its coolness factor, others will find it 'disgusting' as it goes against the long bullet meta of the "perfect shot". We hope that there is something in it for everybody, and that it opens up room for new battle tactics, easier combat against monsters as a backup (those Hellhound's won't be laughing when you bring 12 instead of 6 shots of your favorite revolver), as well as more intense shootouts with medium-sized inventory kits. There are a lot of options to explore and we are eager to hear your opinions on it! Trials Mode (PvE)Trials is a new singleplayer game mode aimed at new Hunters and veterans alike, allowing to explore the world of Hunt:Showdown and complete different types of special assignments. Exclusive Rewards: Unlock Legendary Specter 1882 Bayonet "Tartufai" when reaching 20 Trial Stars Unlock Lengedary Nagant M1895 Officer Carbine "The Cordwainer" when reaching 45 Trial Stars ***Developer Note:***It can be hard for new players to learn the lay of the land and all the little secrets of the Bayou with the constant pressure of encountering other players. Trials aim to give them a chance to practice before venturing on into the Bayou and competing with other Hunters. Without this pressure, players can now spend more time preparing for real encounters, making it easier to move on to Bounty Hunt when they feel ready, equipped with map knowledge, basic combat skills and a good understanding of the horrors that await them. In addition, veterans can hone their skills and show that they really mastered the game with a perfect score of earned Stars and access to the exclusive Legendary weapons to brag with. With Trials, we are finally adding a PvE component to the game that has been missing for a long time. It's a new pillar of Hunt:Showdown that can attract new players, who are less focused on fighting others, but rather enjoy the game and its setting in different ways offline. We plan on expanding the Trials experience with future updates, adding more challenges and additional exclusive rewards for players to unlock. The first batch of Trials have been around Stillwater Bayou. The next batch will be focused on the second map, Lawson Delta. Please tell us what you like, what you are missing, and in what direction you would like to see the new game-mode Trials grow! 8. Whilst I know I lucked out on getting the Legendary skin Billy Story many didn't. Good news is they've reviewed their first Twitch drops run and offering extra rewards, Billy being one of them, depending on how many hours you watched. Full details from Crytek below: Hunt Twitch Drops Post Mortem Hunters, Since the conclusion of the Twitch Drops campaign, many of you have been very vocal, and have given us a lot of feedback. We took the time to look into all the feedback you provided, and today we have some answers for you about how we will address it. Our first Twitch Drops campaign has been a great learning experience for us, and we want to address the things that we could've done better: - Legendary rewards were too hard to earn. You invested a lot of time, and we want to reward the time you invested in turn! - Some users had issues linking their account. We received a large influx of tickets from users who had problems linking their accounts during the event. Due to the volume of tickets, we weren't able to get everyone connected before the event was over. - Notifications for rewards earned didn't always show correctly. We will be correcting this technical issue for our next Twitch Drop - The FAQ could have been clearer. We want to make it up to you. So we've decided on the following compensation: If you watched… You will receive… ≥ 1 hour 1 Legendary item or tool* ≥ 10 hours The above, plus an additional Legendary item or tool* ≥ 20 hours The above, plus 1 an additional Legendary item or tool* ≥ 30 hours The above, plus Legendary Hunter Billy Story** Compensation will be distributed to all qualifying players with Update 1.4.2. If, after we send out compensation, you are still missing any of the Twitch Drop Legendary skins -- or if you missed the event completely -- we can assure you that we will provide ways to earn all of them during our next Twitch Drops campaign!! We will share more exact information about the following event and how to earn rewards when we get closer to it. - Hunt Team *We will ensure that this will be something you do not already own. It will be selected randomly from the pool of things you do not already own. **If you already own Billy Story, you will receive another Legendary item or tool from the Twitch Drop reward pool (that you do not already own). If you already have all of the Twitch Drop rewards, well, congratulations, you are officially a Hunt Twitch Drop Completionist.

  11. Definitely caught my attention too. Lets hope gameplay matches expectations now!
  12. Appreciate that but that doesn't void my opinion. If a game doesn't click it just doesn't. Ask Sebba or Tom to play Destiny. They've barely played it and just didn't get on with it. I've given WoW a go for way longer than anyone else here when you asked people to try it out. As I said before though, if I could justify a tenner a month for the amount of time I would play on it, I would. Both games have good points and bad, that's the similarity.
  13. Good going @Middle Class Caveman thats serious grinding there!
  14. Ah okay, that makes sense now. I've really realised finding an axe is an absolute must around a boss. Saves blowing large sounding ammo away and does a considerable amount of damage to all bosses too. It seems to stun so you can also get away whilst you wit for stamina to return. Are they any guys that take the boss down quicker?I imagine a shotgun perhaps?
  15. Its definitely a different chill type of game with just unlimited stuff you can do. It was worth a few months sub to at least have a go at it if you like RPGs or want to try the MMO of MMOs. I personally feel like if you like something like Diablo styled games then this could be a goer - i actually think they'd make some new players grab it if they did 3 month packages of content. We'll always agree to disagree on this mate. I think the main point is they're not comparable at all. Its frustrating because its partially Luke Smith's fault for saying he wants Destiny to be an all action RPGMMO (because he came from playing WoW all the time) and Destiny's just not an MMO because its just 6 player max teams in a few instances. I just couldn't get grips to WoW as a 'main game' it if i'm brutallty honest. Whilst its very chilled for a nice Sunday evening, its the opposite of what i enjoy in Destiny which is a more intense FPS game but can also have chilled moments too. Fair play to anyone that played this back in the day when you could only Encarta CD on your PCs. How you got around the world back then i'll never know. For this era games need to evolve with the times if you're a live service game, you're never really 'great' for too long as fans can argue about the next thing that bothers them (cos they know they have active devs working to make it better). What I just can't get my head around is the mods that are required to play the game. It blew my mind when i saw your healer pad that basically told me who you needed to heal at any point...its kinda like just watch the boxes that go red and click them, not even watching the in-game scene. I'm an easy, simplistic player that likes shiny tool tips presented to me so when I buy a game I hope that stuff shows me where to go. Destiny ain't perfect at that either, but their quests tabs and the ability to get around the map in relative ease kind of works to my style of play. I'd love it if they could release a free version up to level 20 like they have for the Retail version. I think play time would maybe help a transition into paying for it for a few months to try out new content. I think if people could taste the grind in a regular pattern AND are willing to make this their main game then there's bags of potential for not much money in all honesty.
  16. Nice man! Div 2 has always been well received with a few here and what i've seen elsewhere (although never played it myself). There's a bunch of us that do try stuff out, so be sure to check Green Hell like I said previously but also I find Sea of Thieves great in a group. Do you play/interested in many survival games at all?
  17. Some amazing cars in there Greebs. How much is the DLC? You getting it?
  18. How did it end up? Never really liked Masvidal, not sure why.
  19. Week 28 - July 13th to July 19th. Why not have 2 films eh? 😎 Equalizer 1 Trailer: Equalizer 2 Trailer: Both available on Netflix. Let us know how you find them below 👍
  20. Thought i'd share some of the 'evolving' world that Bungie keep talking about trying top create - I think this season is bringing on the most changes that have impacted Destiny. Whilst it would be obvious that's the case with a complete refresh of teh Director and some content going into the Vault come September, I din't expect to see some of the Planet's looking the way they do. The below are some awesome screenshots i've found across Twitter of how if you keep looking around each week's its all becoming a very ominious sight. Arrival on Mercury - blocking the Sun Arrival on Mars Arrival on IO Arrival on Titan - this is the most ominous and best of the lot for me Loving the detail of the world. Anyone else found anything good to share?
  21. I certainly didn't expect to see a weekend full of raids but here we are! It was great to see so many people get involved on some raids as an FG crew. I think there must've been around 7-10 raid completions take place, something that also helps towards the Moments of Triumphs Seal and rewards. I finally finished my first Spire of Stars and i think others popped their cherry too on the same run @Teenwolf25 @FallenDark200 @Riff Machine @Forty6_N_two @reaper-2201 . It was such a smooth run on a challenging raid boss, one of the best raids in the game in fact, so it was well worth trying it before it gets vaulted in September. If we can rotate one person in each time, more people can start to learn the mechanics and get confident at doing multiple runs for everyone. We then completed a Last Wish boss and Heart run. Chad absolutely hit gold when he dropped One Thousand Voices and subsequently went mental to the point we were worried for Sarah's @Rumelylady sanity 😂 Nick @Bluebear also dropped 1K which I totally weren't envious about... 😤 Also, after a few more clears of Scourge of the Past raid to get some much needed Triumphs and no luck for Chad getting Anarchy, he ran it again after Last Wish and dropped it! Waiting that long for one raid exotic to drop and you get two at once BOSH. Great to hear Troy @wh1skeyactual and Ryan (GhostProteus) in on the act with some Scourge clears - did you guys get anything? Oh, and I heard @Kemp210 was on awesome Guardian Down form proving his point why he is one of the winners of Guardian Down FG Award in days gone by in another Spire of Stars clear. His jumping skills really showing below. GG's everyone, lets try and get more in this week and one for Thursday's Raid night. I'm also thinking of putting up a whole day events for doing Dungeons and special missions, where we can all help each other. I think they would go down really well and help everyone meet up again. Shout up any views or desires below!
  22. Ruinous Effigy Exotic Trace Rifle Season Pass Required? Yes The Exotic quest to get Ruinous Effigy is called Growth. There are 5 steps to this Quest: Missive Gift Pendulum Feed Shape Lore Reading from Exotic Quest: "Hidden chatter tells of ancient Light bubbling to the surface, coaxed forth by the Pyramid's reshaping of our worlds. Furthermore, Savathûn's scouts chase the Pyramid like hungry dogs. She chains their will with ritual and spell-craft. Destroy them. Let the branch consume the Marionettes' bound essence and stabilize it by consuming calcified fragments. My incantations will coopt Savathûn's binding ritual and link the Pyramid's gift to you." —Transmission from Eris Morn Step 1: Missive - Visit the Prismatic Recaster in the Annex of the Tower near the Drifter. This is to just pick up the Exotic Quest for your inventory. Step 2: Gift - Complete the mission "Interference" on Io. This step is straightforward enough - you just have to ensure you work towards the second step on the Weekly seasonal quest (Means to an End) which will allow you to access this mission. At the end of this step you will will Accept the 'Gift' next to Eris. Step 3: Pendulum - Collect Calcified Light fragments on Io, Titan, Mars, and Mercury using Ghost's Nav mode. Defeat Savathûn's Marionettes on Io and Titan. Eris believes the Pyramids offer a gift in a form we will understand: weaponry. But the branch seethes with an unstable Darkness. There are two parts to this step. Finding 25 Calcified Light Defeating 15 Savathûn's Marionettes Calcified Light You have to the following Light fragments that are scattered in the following locations; 10 on IO, 5 on Mercury, 5 on Mars and 5 on Titan. Once you are within 200m within the fragments, you can pull out your Ghost and it will show them on the map for you to pick up. Currently, this video by Thyme has got all 25 Calcified Light's all found for you if you need some support: Savathûn's Marionettes These are named Champions that you can find 2 separate ways. You must get a shot on them in order for the kill to count towards your progress: Mini versions of the new Seasonal Public Event (Contact) bosses spawn in random locations on the Pyramid affected planets. They will be mentioned in the bottom left of your screen when they do spawn in. Kill these bosses and then some Marionette's will spawn in afterwards They also spawn in as part of the 'Contact' Seasonal Public Event Step 4: Feed - Defeat targets with Void damage, chain precision multikills, and complete Gambit or Reckoning. Higher tiers of Reckoning and defeating invaders/defeats as an invader grant additional progress. The branch, though tempered and bound, still has a ravenous emptiness at its core. Find power on which it can feed. This consists of 3 parts; each part to this step do not have to be completed together, however you will save some time combining where possible. 1000 Void Kills 25 Precision Multikills Play Gambit or Reckoning (100% completion required) To achieve 100% on the third step, the progress breakdown is as follows: Invasion kills = 5% Gambit Prime Match = 50% Tier 3 Reckoning = 33% Gambit Normal Match = 33% Tier 2 Reckoning = 22% Tier 1 Reckoning = 17% Step 5: Shape - Decrypt your Gift at the Umbral Decoder. The branch is sated and bound within an engram formed from Eris's incantations. The Gift is ready to take its true shape. The decoder to the left of the Drifter will now offer you the Ruinous Effigy Exotic Trace Rifle! This is an extremely unique Exotic that you would be stupid not to complete! Good luck FGers GGFG
