    Cancer is rife in my family and I am just waiting for it to hit me next. I've had a few scares in the past which weren't pleasant so fuck knows what sort of state of shock I'd be in if the cunting thing was legit. Really sorry to hear about this Dave but despite the absence of a cure and all this bollocks about crossing the road increases the risk of getting it by 33.4493252552%; the survival rates and care are much higher than they've ever been. I'd rather have a cactus up my arse and twisted around for an hour rather than getting the c-word. It's grim all round.

    I think Titanfall is an excellent game and much of the hype was deserved but this does not warrant a purchase of an XB1 and I think EA have made a grave error in not allowing this to be open for the masses. I dislike the exclusivity structure in gaming we see in this era; at least Sony injects money into their own development groups instead of trying to buy off studios in the hope that the move can induce more sales of their console units. EA have already been under severe scrutiny for many years and this move not only has cost them sales but has further damaged their reputation in the industry. They got a big payday and Respawn were awarded funds to develop the title but the fact that this game isn't on the PS4 is just a kick in the teeth for the sector as a whole I feel. Playstation has dominated this generation so far albeit both consoles not launching well in terms of games. Sony I think has a brighter future with its own studios whilst Microsoft once again will have to flash the cash for exclusivity rights on content to entice people to opt for their console. As good as it is; Titanfall lacks in many key areas in terms of depth and scope. There isn't enough meat in the guns and features. If Respawn stuck to their guns and didn't allow EA to rope Microsoft in; I think this game would have been far better. The game is out. Anticipation over. Next please

    Out next Tuesday apparently. My PS4 collection is looking rather sparse with just FIFA in the collection although Infamous will follow soon. I see Ground Zeroes is retailing pretty cheap although it's just a prologue and is exceptionally short. I'll take a punt at this as it looks really decent despite the lifespan and I always rattle off the MGS games a fair few times to completion. Just hope there isn't a Gran Turismo 5-inspired delay between the prologue and full game because as it stands; The Phantom Pain is way off a solid release date. Anyone else interested in this?

    NBA 2K14 has just gone on sale for £9.89 on Steam. It's not as good as the PS4/One versions as it is still using the old engine but at that price; it's bloody tempting!

    Completely agree! I can't believe they omitted it in the first place seeing it was a necessity among the competitive gamers. They should also bring back HQ as that is an iconic mode for the franchise. Again why the fuck they got rid of it is beyond me.

    Connery made Bond but I liked the Roger Moore films best I think. I loved much of the Moore era humor and the varied films. Connery was a real class actor and undertook the role in scintillating fashion. He really set the benchmark. I loved the fact that despite this; all the Bond actors made him their own although Sean gave the most accurate representation based on the books I feel. Dalton and Lazenby's films were all really good but they didn't have a fair crack at the whip. Didn't really miss them after they departed though. I loved Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies with Brosnan who was a brilliant Bond but TWINE and Die Another Day were quite frankly terrible films particularly the latter. I've warmed to Daniel Craig now although there isn't much of a Bond feel about him at first and still isn't. The films have been pretty good particularly Royale and Skyfall even though that film was beyond crazy (check out cinemasins if you haven't seen it already)
