I don't think COD Ghosts was designed for competitive play unlike Black Ops 2 but after the uproar that ensued post-release; it seems they've concocted the feature overnight and it's badly implemented as expected. When they removed Hardpoint and Headquarters; it was clear they weren't going going for the competitive feature and now they seem to be frantically patching in the function whilst being oblivious to key pointers that Treyarch led the field with. IW and Ghosts is really a Call of Duty that is stuck in the franchise stone-age.

Small patch for the old nades Upcoming Battlefield 4 Grenade Tweaks1) Increased the number of M84 FLASHBANG and HAND FLARES the player can carry from 2 to 3. A player may now have 3 active HAND FLARES, up from 1 before. The HAND FLARE remains mostly a gadget of comic relief, though its ability to blind IRNV sights should not be forgotten. The increase in the number the player can carry should allow for a larger tactical use of both the HAND FLARE and the M84 FLASHBANG. 2) Increased the effect of M84 FLASHBANG grenades on friendly and enemy players. When Friendly Fire is OFF, friendlies receive approximately half the effect duration. Previous duration was 4 seconds, now 5 seconds for enemy players. Additionally increased the range at which a player feels the full effect of the flash, and increased the effect on players not looking directly at the flash bang. This should sufficiently improve the reliability of the M84 FLASHBANG, and make it a viable choice in the grenade category. 3) Increased the maximum damage for the RGO from 67 to 80, however reduced the range of explosion. The RGO was essentially an instant kill in Hardcore, it now has a reduced 1 hit kill range, however accurate throws will yield higher damage values in Core. This clarifies the role of the RGO as an accurate impact hand grenade, while still not allowing 1 hit kills in Core. 4) Reduced the visual and audio effect for the detonation of the V40 Mini to highlight its smaller blast when compared to other grenades. Decreased the maximum damage from 80 to 60, and decreased the range at which maximum damage is applied. The player continues to carry 3 V40 grenades, and is still able to use 2 of them to get a kill in Core. Previously the V40 was entirely superior to the M67 in Hardcore, this change aims to balance them in Hardcore, while also keeping their effectiveness intact in Core.

FIFA 14 on the PS4 is bloody unreal! It looks immaculate with a slick presentation that really captures the TV football feel. The ignite engine is very impressive indeed. The YouTube videos do not do this game justice; it looks astonishing! The controls are tighter but at least you feel like your controlling a footballer and not a blow up doll in the wind. The stadium atmosphere is buzzing and the crowd is nice in 3D. Gameplay doesn't feel as scripted as it did for the last few FIFA games and you feel EA have a real platform to build on. Pity I lost my first game as Real Madrid to AFC Wimbledon though!

Avoid ladders when possible as many people have glitched and died randomly! Yeah the KOS mentality is pretty prominent at the minute to avoid turning DayZ into some sort of hiking/jogging simulator. Once more features are added along with the much-needed survival elements such as more frigging zombies; I think the community may mature and change the way they play.

I never liked that Foxy Knoxy! She looked like an evil, manipulative slag. Trying to frame that barman by describing the events exactly as they happened despite not being there apparently, stank of guilt. The Italians still have to go through the extradition process which could take yonks and Sollecito is free pending yet another appeal this time at the supreme court as I understand. He has to surrender his passport though. It's still not over by a long shot it seems. Either way; I don't know much about the legal process particularly in Italy but it's been a cock-up from start to finish.

Don't know if anyone's been following this tit-for-tat justice farce for the past seven or so years but once again we're back in the crazy Italian justice system for yet another trial verdict which is imminent. I am struggling to keep up and follow where we are with it but I believe they're at the murder trial part deux. Neither defendant has bothered to show either. I take it Knox's 'I didn't do it' book is on ice momentarily
