  1. Glory to Arstotzka!
  2. Sim City 4 is down to £2.49 now from £4.99 and I don't think it will drop further. I've been burned a couple of times with games getting further reduced so I'm having to gauge when to pick my moment to buy a game and if it'll drop further. I've only got Prison Architect £6.79 Papers Please £3.49 and Payday 2 £4.59 + 99p for a DLC pack which were great deals but I'm seeing a lot of tat that was on sale for less around Christmas time. I'm still toying with Saints Row 4 for £7.49 but I'm holding back as it may drop even further. I've probably lost £4 on further discounts that might not seem much but another game could be had for that Still awaiting S.T.A.L.K.E.R reduction...
  3. Clever guy Can't wait to see this get crazily modded when it's out on PC!
  4. Something that caught my eye on the shoutbox yesterday was the movie talk and I was thinking about the classic films over the past few decades and then this new brand of modern turd-like shite that we see today. I can't put my finger on why I don't enjoy many modern movies but most don't ooze that quality and I'm not sure why. I find myself avoiding most movies post-2000 on TV under the assumption that they will be a turn-off. For one; I am not wowed by special effects. Sure they beef up scenes with spectacular crash, bangs and wallops but knowing that such scenes are essentially created using this method; they don't leave me jaw-dropped in the slightest. Some modern actors just lack that screen presence also along with overall quality in performance - even the most well-known popular ones. I don' know whether it's because they are part of this modern society where off-screen most of them you see in their true lights but it doesn't seem to compare to the old days where actors were under the radar until you actually saw them in films in a variety of roles. It's not easy to explain but I just don't feel many mainstream actors today have that extra bit of edge and performance quality. I also think some of the modern day writing and scripting leaves a lot to be desired particularly in the comedy genre. I don't think films and their narratives have been done to death and completely exhausted but I don't think I've seen a comedy that will go down as a classic in decades to come. There is too many generic and predictable films within comedy that are cheesy, weak and ultimately cheap - it's like we've seen them all before but this breed of modern day ones have no real iconic moments and they just stagger through with some uncomfortable one-liners. The same could be said for other genres also. There seems to be this emphasis on promotion and media hype that overrides the actual quality - not too different from the gaming industry in all fairness but even films that have a strong cast just seem to be lacking originality and quality. British films have been lacking since the late 90's, Hollywood has got into some bad habits and even Asian films have lost their way in recent years. Films like The Wolf of Wall Street and 12 Years a Slave were excellent but back in the 70's 80's and 90's you were really spoilt for choice as top quality films were being churned out frequently.
  5. I've been toying about playing this for some time now on PC but the reviews on Steam are all of a mixed bag and I don't know if I have the time or energy to give it a looking at. For anyone who plays it on the PS4; would you actually bother giving it a second glance it if there was a better selection of games out for the system and is it just to fill the void until some decent games with longevity come out? I only have FIFA, Infamous, Watch Dogs and MGS V: GZ on the PS4 but if it wasn't for the selection of games on PC on still have to sift through; I'd still be on the fence as to whether i'd bother with Warframe even as a F2P.

  10. I hear Sledgehammer are working with the MLG lot and whilst I don't want the game turning over-competitive; I think they could give some good pointers and having CTF back plus hopefully HQ and Hardpoint; we can banish the shit that IW created from our memory. I don't want to see the likes of Blitz, Infected or any tacky Snoop Dogg shite. I don't know what the fuck IW were thinking 99% of the time but I think AW is in good, sensible hands with Sledgehammer. If we ever get back to the glory days of COD; it would be fantastic!
  11. Epic scoreboard picture Well at least CTF is back!

Starts tomorrow woo hoo! I'm bored of the World Cup now I bet the Scottish contingent of FG will be going barmy for Blandy Murray tomorrow Any hotties to be looking out for tomorrow?
  13. With the shitty optimisation in most games today; I'd keep the card you have Bart as it does the job to a very good standard and will do for well over another year. As Dave said; $150 won't get you anything noticeably more beefed.
  14. I'm not gonna lie; I actually was expecting something like this:
  15. I've seen that loads of people have been VAC banned on COD Ghosts for no reason yet the 'bans' are not showing on their profiles. I think there has been an attack on the anti-hack services.
  16. Skyrim Legendary Edition £6.79 AOE II HD £3.74 The Stanley Parable £3.99 Dragon Age Origins Ultimate £4.99 Papers Please (must buy) £2.09
  17. Skyrim Legendary edition is currently £6.79 in the sale
  18. Payday 2 has come down to £4.59! Can't believe this will cost me £49.99 on PS4 soon PC version it is!
  19. I actually forgot the OUYA existed I heard about the idea ages ago and the general gist I got from it was; mobile gaming on a console. Pretty silly concept in all honesty! Mobile gaming should be on a mobile and console gaming should be on a proper console. Fusing the two is daft. Whoever backed it at kickstarter level = Why the hell would you want to spend £60+ on playing Angry Birds on your TV with a controller? +holy fuck is that 50 dollars for a POUYA controller!?
  20. Prison Architect has gone down to £6.79 wonder if Steam will credit me as I bought it a couple hours before in the sale for £10 State of Decay £3.74 The Walking Dead Season 2 £9.49 Bound By Flame £17.99 Game Dev Tycoon £2.79 Amnesia £3.37 Bulletstorm £3.74
  21. I've picked up Papers Please (£3.49) and Prison Architect (£9.99) so far which are supposed to be two very good and addictive indie games. Not much else I'm interested in at the minute and a fair few games currently reduced I already own. Desperately wanting STALKER bundle to go down though.
  22. Sunken Dragon map. Hopefully doesn't play like Flood Zone because it certainly looks like it!
  23. System Shock 2 £2.79
  24. It's not much of a sale but it's as cheap as it'll ever get! Game is getting better gradually and as Harrison said; it's a good investment.
  25. Bioshock triple pack for £9.99 The Orange Box £7.49 Papers Please £3.49 Crysis £4.99 Lots more upped in the Under £7 section also
