  3. I can pretty much get it for £41 but I'll still probably wait until summer or later. I didn't play Village until way after it released and I'm in no real rush to grab this. Something to look forward to though but I currently feel more like playing through the original with the HD Project mod next.
  4. Reviews are slowly dropping and it's currently 93 on Metacritic. 10/10 on IGN

  6. I'm still playing Resident Evil 5 and it's been an absolute blast last few days! The combat is incredible fun as is the boss battles, plus the levels are really enjoyable and even the story is fairly well done surprisingly. Playing with an AI companion works very well and I can see co-op being one of the best experiences of its kind with splitscreen, online and local available. The inventory management emphasis also plays an big role here which really adds to the gameplay. I'm approaching the 10 hour mark and still not done yet and with chapters graded on performance, there is definitely going to be a lot of replayability here. I'd seriously consider picking it up before the Capcom platform-wide sales end. You don't even need to be a veteran of the series to have fun with this. First hour is a bit slow but then it really gets going. Game still looks fantastic after 14 years too!
  7. Some more Resident Evil 5
  8. I had one wisdom tooth removed in 2017 and although it was a bit daunting, it actually turned out to be fairly routine in the end. Painkillers for a few days after were needed and you have to keep the wound clean with salt water but aside from that, it was a pretty simple procedure and I've had longer hygienist appointments before!
  9. RE6 also has full offline and online co-op like 5.
  10. Been playing Resident Evil 5 last couple of days and it's great for co-op. Basically the mechanics of RE4 with more action and less horror. Works pretty well all in all and plenty of entertaining moments.
  11. I don't know why all these blockbuster brands get given such lame developers with shite portfolios. I suppose as it's published in-house by the IP owners, they don't have to worry about any outlandish licencing fees so it turns into merely a cash grab opportunity using whatever dev they can get their hands on. Complete waste of time really. Definitely not as bad as some of these film-oriented games we've seen over the years but this looks so disappointing.
  12. I think it's about £3.99 in the Capcom platform-wide sales right now so I'd definitely grab it and give it a go.
  13. I think they should remake Code Veronica and then call it a day on that front. Would love to see them revive Dino Crisis instead, either as a new game or remake. I think Resident Evil 9 is in the works which will complete the Ethan Winters story arc.
  14. Resident Evil 2 (PS1) Resident Evil (PS1) Resident Evil Code Veronica (Dreamcast) Resident Evil 4 (PC) Resident Evil 0 (Gamecube) I mostly like the classics with the fixed camera and tank controls. The remakes are mostly brilliant and 7 along with Village are two fantastic new takes on the classic series. Only with 5 and 6 did the franchise lose its way. The N64 version of RE2 is also hailed as one of the greatest ports of all time from a technical execution standpoint. Shoutout to the HD remake of the original RE which was initially a Gamecube exclusive before appearing on other formats - that was one of the OG remasterings in gaming.
  15. Call of the Sea FREE on Epic https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/call-of-the-sea
  16. Just finished the demo - took about 20 minutes to complete. Feels very much like the RE2 Remake which is great, but in the re-imagined RE4 world. Not sure they can top the latter though in terms of atmosphere and visual style along with the control implementation. I'm actually more tempted than ever to go and download RE4 vanilla and then install the HD project mod I don't think you can beat the visual design of the original
  17. MW2’s combat is punchy but 2042’s just feels rapid in comparison so you don’t really get a sense for the guns other than they’re extremely OP. Don’t think I’ve ever played a BF game where the guns feel so light and unauthentic. The movement also feels strange and it just makes the whole experience feel like a freebie sandbox created in something like Unity.
  18. Demo live today with no time limit and available on all systems
  19. More Beyond: Two Souls
  20. Oh dear FML, Starfield comes out just a week after Baldur's Gate 3 | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Time to start praying for a strategic delay?
  21. Conte has to go and he can take about 75% of the squad with him. I honestly don't know how Spurs are in 4th place right now and still they could be displaced by Liverpool if they win their game in hand. Another mediocre display last night from the get-go - anyone would think they were playing for a draw despite going out. Need a new manager with an attacking focus. Also need to dispose of the wealth of shit players on the books who will never improve or do anything for the club.
