  1. Also I bet this wont be on the backwards compatibility list for the Xbox One so it wont deter people from investing in the full blown MW remaster with Infinite Warfare and any future remasters they concoct. Also are the seriously only giving away 1 DLC pack in Stimulus? Great news for the people who want to buy Crash and Overgrown for a 3rd time in warm up for MW:R where they'll own it for a 4th time It's not even a complete collection
  2. Keep on milking that cow! Who the hell is going to buy this? You can pick up all the games dirt cheap if you don't own them already or haven't played them previous. Also the multiplayer portions are hacked to buggery and virtually unplayable and I don't think the old gen holds much interest these days. This is the sort of shit that should be remastered and sold in a pack on the current gen ffs which would guarantee 30m of sales at least.
  3. Just saw I still have this installed and haven't touched it in a whole month. I even forgot it existed until today! I have absolutely no desire to play this again I don't think and I couldn't care less what improvements, tweaks, fixes or anything else Ubisoft do as nothing can bring me back to this. Seems that 4 years of development and 3 years of promise and now the game is basically dead in the water thanks to a garbage endgame and dreadful incursion inclusions that offer absolutely nothing apart from a bigger grind in the form of a mission that you've done countless times before. I didn't get the season pass but is there any holders out there who wont go back even with extra material on the way?
  4. EA have confirmed that Battlefront will have a sequel in 2017 and then three more titles annually up until 2020. Battlefront 2.2 or whatever the sequel will be called will be tied more in with the current films too. I can see this getting horribly messy especially if it's flitting between developers. Another cash grab of a classic brand ensues and they would have been better of just sticking to a cemented sequel for next year, getting it right and then further developing it over the years like BF4 with lots of content even if it was through annual season passes.
  5. Didn't even know this existed!
  6. I think so as we have a solid squad with quality in all departments plus talented development and youth teams too. We'll need to hold on to our star players as best as possible though and probably strengthen our squad numbers as we played over 60 games this season which was more than any other team in the country and it drained us towards the end. League One will be tough but I think we can hold our own and if Burton Albion can get promoted; anything can happen We also beat Swansea, Swindon, Brentford and Millwall in the cups plus only just lost to Barnsley in the JPT Final so all in all; I think at worst; we'll compete very well indeed Goal of the season
  7. Thanks Rich! Yep, looking forward to going to Charlton, Bolton, MK Ding Dons, Sheffield United, Coventry and even Swindon next season - beats going to York, Dagenham, Luton and Stevenage where you barely see a crowd
  8. FTFY Cheers Phil
  9. Thank christ for that! I can finally enjoy my stress free summer
  10. Trailer was a bit messy to be honest. Didn't really convey anything clearly and was trying to be a bit too spectacular. Wish there was a bit more focus on gameplay in the trailer too as DICE have been slagging off Infinity Ward for their CGI reveal of Infinite Warfare which is now a bit hypocritical. Eager to see proper gameplay now..
  11. Presentation looks like it's being held in a bad Swindon social club Nice touch using the BF1942 music at the start though.
  12. Here ya go http://www.battlefield.com/event
  13. We had Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 1943, Battlefield Bad Company, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. Battlefield 1 would be the 'first' entry to the series timeline pretty much.
  14. New angle which outlines the pre-order bonuses and an October 18th release date. *edit October 21st according to the trailer.
  15. Makes sense though as we've never had a Battlefield 1...
  16. Yeah, one of their ex employees leaked something to do with a WW1 mission and BattlefieldIntel suggest 'WW1 with a twist'. Can't quite digest what they're going for but as long as it's not too barmy like what Call of Duty has become; I'll be happy.
  17. Activision bankroll Blizzard but the latter is actually highly regarded loyal developer with several successful and top quality brands that they are continually committed to. It ain't like the dark side of pure Activision where rushed, half arsed and dated products get spewed out annually and are littered with extra payable content.
  18. Played a few games of the beta earlier and it seems a very polished and enjoyable shooter. The combat is fast and frantic and despite being a bit mindless; there is quite a solid tactical and skill oriented game here although it retains fun rather being an out and out sweatfest. Another solid game on the books of Blizzard it seems.
  19. It's a smart business deal by Activision - entice users to spend an extra £30 with a baited product so they can get paid off twice and drive sales on a game that was likely to sell appallingly. Ghosts was available in more countries and on more systems than any other Cod game but sold terribly and that was also counting the copies obtained through people upgrading to next gen versions. Having MW:R in there could spare any blushes and Infinite Warfare embarrassment if their main product flops again. Lots of people will buy this as well as supply drops and the season pass and Activision will triumph once again by only allowing the remaster to be available with a game they probably don't want and would trade in or sell possibly without playing it. If people splash out £70-80 then it's another success for Activision and yet another revenue stream is opened up that will be prominent in all upcoming Cod titles. MW:R will probably have paid DLC and possibly a season pass too down the line but it may become available as a standalone download once Infant Warfare has maxed out its peak income six or so months after release. I hate Activision but they well and truly have their community by the balls and even the complainers will cough up I expect. I
  20. It is available 12am (right now) I think in the UK but the official site has a complete rundown of when the beta is available to download in each region. I'm on my phone so I can't link it in but check it out to be sure
  21. Open beta starts tomorrow and it's definitely worth checking out!
  22. So basically DICE fucked up with Battlefront and now Respawn have been given the reigns
  23. This is the only info I could find on the beta and I'm sure it'll be a PS4 initial exclusive again.
  24. I'm holding out for Overwatch and the open beta for that starts tomorrow so i'd try that instead. Battleborn seems decent and has a campaign but the wider consensus suggests if you want a new FPS; Overwatch is the one to get by far.
