  1. Have to grab this even if I don't ever play it again
  2. They decided to focus on their current gen of games plus the PS Now streaming service. Backwards compatibility was originally seen as a bit desperate from Microsoft but it's actually turned into a bloody good feature and much better than the half-baked streaming service Sony offers. I think that costs £13 a month or £85 for the year and that gives you access to a selection of games to stream but it's another whopping cost on top of PSN plus you don't ever own the games/licence. You can also rent the games individually as opposed to subscribing but the prices for that are laughably pricey.
  3. This is a good laugh
  4. Anyone getting this Friday? Looks exceptional. Here's some leaked retail copy footage - the game looks epic even with shit quality recording
  5. Played 85 minutes with 10 men too!
  6. Performance of the day goes to Sheffield United twatting Aston Villa 4-1! Bolton did well coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 away at Preston. Reading still wank.
  7. 1-1 in the end which I would've taken beforehand under the circumstances but apparently we dominated the game from start to finish and should've won so I have mixed emotions really.
  8. What's the best card game out at the minute? Apart from real card games like online poker and a casual game like Slay the Spire, I have swerved all the popular ones cropping up. Artifact is out in a couple of months and that looks like it will be popular for obvious r£ason$ but what do you think is worth looking at that is easy to get into, fun to play and not boring? Here's some Artifact gameplay - looks bloody complex but quite stylish
  9. I can understand Sony's position but I can also see their restrictive stance pissing off a lot of developers/publishers especially on games that are free without exclusivity ties. They are putting a massive stumbling block on growth of cross-platform play despite holding a huge market share to bolster this feature. Personally I think they probably have concerns that their online service may not be up to the standard when going toe to toe with XBL despite costing the same. PSN back in the PS3 days had its problems but they always had the excuse that it was a free service but now putting it in the limelight with cross-compatibility against Microsoft could expose consistency and quality frailties and that could impact future development of AAA games in the future. I don't think it's the end of the world though and playing against 'rival' console users could just add to more petty fanboy squabbles and make communities more toxic. It just makes Sony look a bit dismissive, greedy and questions whether they have the confidence in their architecture and network.
  10. If you win, you go above them😀
  11. Sunderland v Oxford tomorrow and a crowd of 30,000+ expected which is mental for League One. What's weird is that Sunderland are now ran by a consortium of Oxford United fans too! Last time we played them was at the Stadium of Light 20 years ago and they grabbed a lucky 7-0 victory😎
  12. PS4 and Xbox One version now available.
  13. Arsenal have Sporting, Carrier Bag and Vorskala in the Euro B-tec tournament.
  14. Oxford v Man City in the EFL Cup. Easy😎
  15. Champions League has been drawn - didn't even know it was happening! Spurs v Barcelona, PSG v Liverpool, Man Utd v Juventus and Hoffenheim v Lyon are my personal picks. Group A: Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, Club Brugge. Group B: Barcelona, Tottenham, PSV Eindhoven, Inter Milan. Group 😄 Paris St-Germain, Napoli, Liverpool, Red Star Belgrade. Group 😧 Lokomotiv Moscow, Porto, Schalke, Galatasaray. Group E: Bayern Munich, Benfica, Ajax, AEK Athen. Group F: Manchester City, Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon, Hoffenheim. Group G: Real Madrid, Roma, CSKA Moscow, Viktoria Plzen. Group H: Juventus, Manchester United, Valencia, Young Boys
  16. I loved the battles you'd have in that middle building. A lot of people hated the map as it was really big but sniping and alternatively, weeding out campers was great fun.
  17. http://uk.ign.com/articles/2018/08/30/battlefield-5-has-been-delayed-by-a-month Looks like EA didn't have the balls to release it in November with BO4 and RDR2😎
  18. For tonight's draw
  19. Just sounds like an excuse to have a gay orgy.
  20. There were some maps which had a loose three lane layout for sure but it was nice to play on others which didn't as it added to the variety. Back then we got small, all the way up to large maps and they weren't designed with three lanes in mind or a competitive-focus. Back then you could really choose a selection of gameplay styles and weapons like AR's and snipers had some use as intended rather than just quickscoping. Nowadays it's all about SMG's because that's all you need really. A longshot medal now is shooting someone 10 yards away it seems.
  21. Highrise, Afghan, Favela, Scrapyard, Terminal, Skidrow - all amazing maps for me. So good and refreshing to play on ones that have variety in terms of sizes and aesthetics. I'm so tired of these shitty 3 lane focused shoebox sized maps we see these days where you can only go left, right or middle.
  22. I still play it now and then on PC and the immediate difference you notice when compared to modern CODs is that it's actually fun.
  23. Another
  24. Talk of Liverpool's season targets have been quiet actually but it's quietly assumed they will be expected to mount a challenge for the title and to close the gap on City's dominance. They really need to win some silverware though just as something tangible. They did so well last year and had nothing to show for it but even some pottery or something to put in the cabinet is needed really.
