  1. CFO been fired, users down 10% and growing, key development staff being paid to leave for cost-cutting purposes with only Diablo Immortal and Warcraft 3 Remastered on the horizon. Activision have basically killed the studio in a matter of months. Paying talented staff severance and allowing them to walk to save money suggests they want to satisfy shareholders with immediate effect and then the future of the studio will be a small team producing shitty mobile games of their classic brands. I can't see many of the long-serving staff wanting to work on mobile gaming either and with a severance package on the hip and plenty of external opportunities; it wouldn't surprise me if most walked and the studio was then moved exclusively to Asia. It'll probably be Overwatch Mobile and a Starcraft card game next. Way to kill a iconic studio.
  2. It already has but thankfully just like lootboxes, this craze is drying up. In a quirk of fate, Activision's desperation in resorting to selling thin air ranks and red dot reticles is to mitigate people not spending as much on microtransactions last year. Activision, EA, Bethesda and 2K have all lost major value and these are companies that are reliant on annual shareholder injections to remain in growth. They wont exactly go bankrupt soon but it's a huge knock and reality check that they can't remain sustainable with just microtransactions and dying brands. Activision even admitted that because of lower income than expected from BO4 and Destiny 2 Forsaken, they'd basically monetize the fuck out of what they currently have and this sheer desperation and shame didn't go unnoticed from the community.
  3. Pretty disappointing show in the end. Was great to see most of the cast return but the whole format was a bit of a shambles. The show was probably an hour too long, filled with cheap filler moments and the amount of cringe at times was painful to watch including the end segment where everyone looked embarrassed by it all. Dunno why they just didn't do a documentary without an audience format talking about how the show was made, what were the best moments and what's happened to all the cast since. I'd rather watch structured interviews than improvised cheesy rubbish.
  4. Activision are selling a red dot reticle for the reflex sight for a mere 100 cod points equating to $1. It is currently in the 'sale' for 50 points as we speak. Pathetic.
  5. I've worked in a few shops in my time but I ain't seen nothing like this
  6. Nintendo recently reached a $12.3m settlement with a ROM site that was peddling games for free https://uk.ign.com/articles/2018/11/13/nintendo-rom-site-lawsuit-results-in-12-million-judgement Just imagine what they'll do to this prick especially if it goes all the way and other developers get involved.
  7. RIP. What an absolute dumbass putting his name on this POS. Nintendo and co will just come after him rather than the Chinese manufacturers. Anyone with common sense could see this wasn't a good idea and would have dire consequences going forward. He made it even worse boasting about it which shows how utterly thick he is.
  8. Anfield tonight...
  9. What a mess.
  10. I'm sure they'll get compensated their money back or some damages within the next 4 years😎
  11. Soma is free on GOG until Sunday https://www.gog.com/game/soma
  12. Kemar Roofe does it again for Leeds - that's 3 goals in injury time he's scored in two matches. What a mental finale at both Norwich and Blackburn today!
  13. I just completed this quiz. My Score 70/100 My Time 110 seconds
  14. Ooooooooooh - hopefully the line isn't running from the male bogs. The pisswater of bottled Carlsberg is bad enough in every other ground
  15. You mean this nightmare😏 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgsydTBeVqo I just remembered Nottingham Forest 1-8 Man Utd back in the late 90's if my memory serves me correctly.
  16. What a bloody embarrassment this whole thing is turning out to be. Here's a quick recap of the events in order:- - Drone sighted near Gatwick airport - Entire Airport shuts down whilst police investigate - 144,000 passengers affected globally included many stranded at the airport itself - Police arrest two suspects 5 miles away and raid property - Suspects arrested on 'intelligence' linked to the hobby of model airplanes - Police bring in snipers and Israeli drone catching technology along with the military - Suspects interviewed and deny any knowledge of events - Police release scapegoated suspects after alibi's proving they were at work miles away - Police admit there may be no drone at all - Police recover crashed drone - Police deny finding crashed drone - Police say due to miscommunication; there were actually 67 reports of drones sighted. One, none and 67 afterall are very easy to get mixed up... - Police will investigate each 'sighting' from new 'witnesses' with door to door inquiries despite no recorded evidence of a drone in the first place This doesn't exactly ooze much confidence in our national security especially when we leave the EU if an entire continent is affected by probably what was a plastic bag spotted blowing in the wind and then needing the army to protect us from it. I hope the poor couple take legal action for this horrible violation particularly with it being Christmas. Whoever is in charge of this investigation has a lot to answer for.
  17. It was 9-0 u tit n u ment 2b man u fan😎
  18. Off the top of my head Portsmouth 7-4 Reading Arsenal 7-1 Blackburn I think Man City 7-2 Stoke more recently I think Chelsea scored 7 a few years ago against the likes of Villa or Sunderland and Spurs did it back in the Ginola days against Southampton. How about teams that have conceded 7+ Ipswich, Sheff Wed, Wigan and the non-arab Man City! I went to the Spurs Wigan game and they could've scored 9 in the first half that day. I think that's all the teams that conceded 7+
  19. Great day of football Villa 2-3 Leeds and Everton 2-6 Tottenham - didn't expect to see 13 goals in two games - thought both would be very tight and close but Leeds absolutely destroyed Villa even with a early two goal deficit and Spurs were deadly in attack although they were lucky not to be 2-0 down with Calvert-Lewin having a perfectly good goal ruled out when already 1-0 up. Don't think Leeds will bottle it this year after seeing them today.
  20. I guarantee they've put a DVD in that capsule😎
  21. Man City 2-3 Crystal Palace Chelsea 0-1 Leicester MOTD may be worth watching tonight😎
